  • Upscale Ambiance, Great Location and View

"We just returned from spending a week with our family at this lovely property in La Paz. The home is very spacious, with the kitchen/dining/living room upstairs and bedrooms downstairs. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well provisioned and had everything we needed to prepare and serve family meals. The house is in a great location, very walkable to the Malecon but situated high enough on a hill to provide excellent views of the Sea of Cortez. With all the great restaurants available in La Paz, our favorite place to dine was out on the patio overlooking the bay - absolutely fabulous sunsets! We also appreciated having an ice chest, beach chairs, beach towels and a beach umbrella available for daily outings. Brian was very responsive to answering our questions about the property. We loved our visit and look forward to staying here on our next visit to La Paz!"

  • Excellent Vacation!

"I just spent three fantastic weeks at Loretta's condo. Costa Baja is a world class resort, and the condo is in the best location, overlooking the marina. The condo is bigger than it looks in the pictures, and is extremely clean and well kept. I had no problem with the noise from the restaurant downstairs, it is mostly quiet and closes early (and the food is great). You could stay in Costa Baja the whole time and have a great vacation, but I recommend that you go out and explore La Paz as well. It is a clean, beautiful city, with plenty of good restaurants and things to do. And you have to go out to sea; just outside of La Paz you'll see the most amazing sea life anywhere. I saw whales, dolphins, turtles and ven caught a couple of dorados. I highly recommend La Paz, Costa Baja and Loretta's condo. I will return."

  • Great Spot

"Really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect to access both the waterfront and the old portion of town. The house was very comfortable and the yard covered by wildly flowering bougainvillea which shaded the courtyard and made for a very beautiful place to relax when not out walking the town. Would definitely go back and stay here again."

"We had a great time, the condo looks over the water, pool, hot tub, palm trees. The weather was fantastic every day. Resturant at the hotel was very good. We had a very relaxing time, the ocean was warm. All the staff were friendly. Short drive into Lapaz, the walk on the malecon is amazing, just go early, gets very hot by 10:00 am."

These are either snorkeling or scuba diving trips, depending on whether the guests have diving certifications. Best Time to Visit La Paz Resorts

La Paz is located in the province of Baja California Sur, Mexico. It enjoys a warm year-round climate with more than 300 sunshine days per year. The summer months run from June to September, and are hot and humid. While this is a popular time of year to visit because it coincides with school vacations, it is advisable to choose a vacation home that has either ceiling fans or air conditioning. Because of the high levels of humidity, many people prefer to visit during the cooler winter months when the temperatures are milder and the air is drier. If you are planning to explore the underwater treasures, the best time of year for diving is between May and November when the waters are most clear.
