  • Our Christmas vacation

"We enjoyed your condo. The only thing that we had a problem with was the hard beds. This must be something that is common in Mexico."

  • This is the best " one of those hidden gems" place we have ever been!! Great Value Also!

"Leo's baja oasis is truly a beautiful oasis! It was exactly the environment I wanted for our mini family reunion. We were able to hang in the pool and jacuzzi and cook some our meals. Oh, and one of the nights, Leo made an amazing gourmet meal for us. He was quite attentive to all of our needs and very helpful setting us up for fishing and snorkeling. We definitely would consider staying here again, especially for a family get together. It was perfect!!"

  • Nice Place

"We stayed here for 5 days just recently, the house is very modern and clean. It took a little time to figure out the shower situation. The taps in Mexico are the opposite way around to that in US, also the hot water comes out for approx 1-2mins then it runs cold, eventually it will reheat and dispense hot again but there is a period where the water consistently runs cold approx 1-2mins. We assume the water tank must be on the small side. Also when you adjust either tap there is a a little delayed time before the water adjusts, so be patient :) It's not a big deal once you figure it out. I would run it, use it, stop it, shave etc then use again as needed, rather than stand and wait and get cold in the process. The shower in the master bath was less predictable. The water in 2 of the toilets run constantly which is a bit of a waste. So my husband took it upon himself to turn them on and off as used, which became a hassle. The owner of this property really needs to have the street lights outside fixed by the electricity company as they became such a hinder. It was windy during our stay and the street lights have metal lids on the tops of them which were loose, so of course they rattled all night long, in the master suit we could hear, then moved over to the front bedroom and there is a light right outside that window. I am a light sleeper though, I brought ear plugs and it didn't seem to help. There is a barking dog that lives across the street and 2 days out of the 5 we were woken up by it around 6am. The Dvd player is broken and USA disc don't work in Mexico different region. Thank goodness I brought my lap top :) It's definitely worth the money we paid $115 a night so not complaining just sharing our experience. We chose this location close to swim with the Whale Sharks but high winds cancelled the trip. Also wanted to scuba dive but the excursions for diving were 9hrs long 3hrs each way on a boat and then 3hrs diving 3 dives and surface interval time. Seemed like a long day for us so we passed on that. You definitely need a car if you're in this location. The beach out front was ok to walk on but not a sunbathing kind of beach. Supermarket was a few minutes by car. IMO La Paz is best suited for 55+, some bars & restaurants they had a nice board walk. On the whole it was nice to get away and the days were very sunny and think in the mid 80's it was nice having that nice breeze."

  • Excellent Vacation!

"I just spent three fantastic weeks at Loretta's condo. Costa Baja is a world class resort, and the condo is in the best location, overlooking the marina. The condo is bigger than it looks in the pictures, and is extremely clean and well kept. I had no problem with the noise from the restaurant downstairs, it is mostly quiet and closes early (and the food is great). You could stay in Costa Baja the whole time and have a great vacation, but I recommend that you go out and explore La Paz as well. It is a clean, beautiful city, with plenty of good restaurants and things to do. And you have to go out to sea; just outside of La Paz you'll see the most amazing sea life anywhere. I saw whales, dolphins, turtles and ven caught a couple of dorados. I highly recommend La Paz, Costa Baja and Loretta's condo. I will return."
