"We loved staying at Casa Blanca! La Ventana/El Sargento holds a special place in our hearts and Casa Blanca was the icing on the cake! We had four adults and 2 kids in our group and the house accommodated us perfectly. My husband and I loved waking up to the sunrise over the ocean every morning through the large picture windows in the master bedroom (it was always a spectacular show.) The house was well equipped with everything we needed and felt luxurious. We loved using the kayaks and snorkel gear (the snorkeling right in front of the house was awesome!) The beach felt like our own. The kiteboarders in our group launched and landed straight from the backyard. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the stunning views on the patio or under the palapa. Even when you are inside, you feel like you're outside with all of the huge windows and large sliding doors. The house is in a great location- close to Oscaritos Market and close to the end of El Sargento where the kiteboarders start their "down winder" runs. (Although everything is close in this town- just a few minutes by car.) We rented bikes a couple of times (from Captain Kirks) and found a really great trail (singletrack!) in riding distance from the house. We rented Stand Up Paddle boards one morning from Palapas Ventana after a delicious breakfast from their restaurant. Our two kids (3 1/2 and 7 months) were happy as can be on our vacation. They must have picked up on our relaxed and happy vibe. We cooked/bbq'd a few meals and made daily gaucamole- the kitchen had all of the basics. However, the local cuisine is unbelievably good so we dined out mostly (Mariscos El Cone was our favorite... Camarones ala Diabla and ceviche with Ahi... Mmmmm!) We also loved the scene at Baja Joes in the early evenings after the guys would finish kiteboarding. Our daughter met lots of other kids their to play with and we adults loved the margaritas. We loved getting fresh made Empanadas every morning from Oscaritos and stopped in every afternoon for the most delicious ice cream bars in the world. Gosh, I could go on and on about how wonderful our week was. Yeta and Francisco were a phone call away if we needed anything, but gave us our privacy. The grounds were maintained beautifully. My only complaint was that we didn't stay long enough! Can't wait to return to La Ventana. We would rent this house again in a heartbeat! Thank you Brent for being so easy to work with and providing such a lovely experience!"

"Quiet, great views and access to launch. Comfortable beds and hot water. Lots of room. Kiting at this end of the bay is much less crowded. The locking trailer on the beach for gear was also a great benefit."

"I had two and half precious weeks alone, working, watching for wind, enjoying the birds and the moonrise and the sunrise, and loving the palette of this simple, clever, beautiful desert house where everything felt right - truly a privilege."

"My boyfriend and I stayed in the casa for 5 days. He was able to launch his kite right from the beach outside. I was able to get some sun (shielded from the wind) on the deck. There are restaurants within walking distance. The house was very cute and had everything we needed. The owner is very responsive and gave some great recommendations."
