  • Absolutely the Best - Each and Every Time

"I've vacationed at Casa de Las Palmas for years with family and friends. The owner, Mary, is very accommodating and takes care of the little details that many others forget. We have children and adults of all ages stay with us and the location couldn't be better. For those who want to relax, you have a gorgeous pool and the white sand beaches directly out the front door. For those of us that want to get on our ATVs and play around, it's close to the arroyos. The kids love the pool and each of the bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed. The house is great for large groups, reunions, family gatherings and getaways. You won't be disappointed!"

  • Returning guest--from Oregon

"Safe and wonderful return trip (3rd) to this lovely ocean front home and the Baja. The town, home and the property are perfect for a family or group seeking a traditional old remote baja type experience. If you want a quiet and natural vacation this place is for you. We enjoy fishing, cooking, scuba diving (1.5 hours away) and walking the white clean beaches. The small friendly coastal town has almost one of everything you need. We drive 30 minutes to the larger town for one big weekly shopping trip. The home owner is great and very helpful. Cabo is 2.5 hours away if you want the action of the big city. We have explored all of the baja south of La Paz and while we love it all we appreciate returning home to this special property."

  • Pure bliss

"My husband and I and our 4 1/2 year old twins stayed the first three nights in the front part of the house, then our friend and his 8 year old daughter joined us and used the back section and we shared the kitchen, living space and deck. It was perfect for our crew. The property feels VERY secure, we mostly didn't feel the need to lock unless we all went into town. Duke showed us around town and helped us out in every way possible, and Dina brought lovely sand toys for the kids and was very sweet. We had planned to move into a bigger place for the second part of our stay, but it was double booked when we got there. Duke and Dina let us stay two extra nights and helped us find a place for the last three nights as theirs was booked. We could easily have just spent to whole time at their place if it had been available. The house has an amazing patio overlooking a wonderfully swimmable soft sand beach. Very gentle waves and no real current during this season. The kids were in the water with their floaties most of the time and had no problem navigating it. We even all went for a night swim. Great snorkeling/ kayaking right in front, and all the gear is available. The water is turquoise and very clean. Local expats were super friendly on the beach. Many thanks to Duke and Dina for helping to make our stay so special. We hope to come back at some point!"

  • It was all that the reviews said it was!

"I spent a great deal of time researching the right place for our stay & ended up choosing a stay with Dave & Rebecca. We have friends that stay in L. B. every year so we had to come visit. This was an ideal location for us as it was near everything, but the real treat was the fantastic value of the property. The Homes are well laid out & very private. The Pool area is great where their dog Missy will greet you & be a very vigilant life guard should you go swimming. You have everything you need, there but if you don't, Dave or Rebecca will get you just the right thing. An example of their hospitality: one day Dave & I were chatting & he said that they were going to Cabo & Costco and wanted to know if we needed anything. Well other than a case of wine, steaks, lunch meat, bread, cheese & Tequila there wasn't much & they gladly took their time to gather up those items for us. There is so much to do there you will stay very busy sightseeing, Whale watching exploring on Quads or just walking down the great beaches. I would highly recommend that you rent quads from Dave while you are there & is by far the best way to get around. Dave can also guide you on some fantastic day trips to some hidden gems off of the beaten path. The only down side to staying here is that you will become part of the family & have a hard time saying good bye, so we just said see you next year as we will be back for sure. Missing L.B. Ted & Maureen"
