"We had an incredible time staying at Casa Agave. Went with my wife, kids 12 and 10, and friend. Beach was just a short walk around the one house in front but we had open view of beach and sea which was perfect for watching the sunrise. Star gazing was absolutely amazing there also! Everything in the home was in great shape and all appliances were fully funtional. Absolutely beautiful home. We keep talking about how glad we were to be able to enjoy all the benefits of a "home away from home" instead of a hotel vacation. Norma and Raul made an amazing dinner for us. Couldn't of had a more relaxing vacation."

"We've stayed at the Villas de Cortez on several other occasions but this was our first time staying in a studio unit. This is a great place to stay with walk out access to the pool and beach. The condo has all the amenities that you would want. Cary was very helpful and funny in his suggestions about the property and things to do in LB. We stayed there shortly after the hurricane and we were not sure what to expect when we arrived in LB. We were pleasantly surprised that the town was relatively unharmed by the storm and Cary addressed any little issues with the condo immediately. We would highly recommend staying at this property and we look forward to our next visit!"

"Just returned from our spring break tour of the Baja. Had the pleasure of staying for a few days in this wonderfully appointed house. It was perfect for our party of 8 as there was plenty of room for all of us ... and then some. The kitchen is equipped with every thing you would need to prepare a gourmet meal; the living room has multiple seating areas so everyone can spread out and do their own thing; the bedrooms are laid out in such a way as to maximize privacy; the outdoor area/pool area overlooks the stunning Sea of Cortez. Polli (the house manager) maintains the house very well as it is very, very clean and everything works perfectly. Unlike other homes we have rented, the house is well stocked with beach towels, pool/beach toys, bottled water, t.p, paper towels, body soap, laundry soap. The house is positioned to maximize sea breezes, so we never used the AC. The area is also very safe so we slept with the sliding doors in the bedroom open to the evening breeze and had a perfect night's rest to the sound of the waves below.
Punta Pescadero is situated about 30-40 minutes from Los Barilles (the nearest town), so the setting is very rural and quiet. Days were spent relaxing by the pool or out on the kayaks (supplied). We had one afternoon sipping cocktails at the small hotel down the road and were fortunate enough to be entertained by a Humpback whale breaching just off the shore! We did drive into El Cardonal (if-you-blink-you-will-miss-it village 15 minutes north) for dinner twice - once at the taco truck near the basketball courts which only serves on weekends; and once at El Cardonito (very good). Fyi, for those who can't live without their java, had very good lattes/espressos at Cafe Encinalito in los Barilles.
We have rented many homes through VRBO all over the world and I must say that this is one of our best experiences. I can't emphasize enough how well stocked/equipped this home is. It never felt like a rental home (with locked closets full of supplies, or half filled dish soap dispenser) but rather like we were staying at a friends home. It was a pleasure communicating with Steve throughout the planning process as he was always prompt with his responses and provided a ton of info on the house and area. Thank you Steve for sharing your wonderful vacation homes with us."

"Location, location. Not only is the condo comfortable with all that you need to eat in, relax poolside, swim in the ocean and a restaurant option, but the location cant be beat. Walking south is a beautiful beach for a few miles, walking north beach as well, and right out of the entrance to this property are groceries and many great restaurants. This is the first year we have not rented a car and it was perfect. We walked to town every day and loved thr proximity, being in Las Palmas is quieter than staying in town. There is also an elevator if you need that option. We would definitely recommend this unit with comfortable seating for four around dining table and in living room. We will return here when in Los Barriles."
