"My husband and I just spent a week at this villa with our four grown children, spouses, and grandchildren and it was by far the best family vacation we have ever taken. The house is quite spacious which allowed each adult couple to have their own separate room and bath. Our grandchildren are fairly young so they all stayed in the sixth bedroom which is off the kitchen/living room area. The setup of this house was perfect for a large group or extended family like ours. The listing description and photos very accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. We cooked a number of our meals at the house which was made very easy as the kitchen is well stocked with appliances, cooking utensils, plates, cups, etc. Shopping for groceries was not a problem either as there is a MEGA store about five minutes away by car and it has everything you could need. When we were not at the beach or other excursion, we thoroughly enjoyed the pool / hot tub area which is kept very clean by the maintenance man that came twice while we were there. The owner also provided some necessities such as laundry soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. I would definitely recommend this villa if staying in San Jose del Cabo. From the very beginning, the villa owner was very accommodating in answering any and all questions that I had about the house and amenities. Her replies to my emails or texts were very timely and helpful. She provided us information about local restaurants, rental cars, surfing locations, good beaches for the children, etc. which helped us in planning our trip. Thank you Lori for all your help and for the wonderful week that my husband and I had with our children and grandchildren!"

  • Great stay in Terrasol

"We recently spent a week at Terrasol. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and unit. The location is great if you don't have a car. It is an easy walk to the marina areas which is filled with great places to eat. We decided not to cook for ourselves this trip so didn't need a lot of groceries but were able to get breakfast and lunch type food at the store in the Playa Granda (next door), at the OXXO at the bottom of the hill and from the California Ranch Market (natural food store) across the road from the Wyndham hotel. The unit has a great view of the ocean from the balcony and is a short walk to the heated pool. The Terreasol staff was very friendly and helpful. The hot water in the unit was not working the day we arrived. The staff responded as soon as we called and had a new part installed as soon as possible the next day. We had no issues with the water after that. The unit was well stocked with paper products, dish soap, laundry soap and kitchen basics like coffee filters and plastic bags. The WIFI in the unit worked great and was very fast. The pool WIFI was less reliable, slow at times and needed to be reset several times while we were there. The complex and surrounding area are very safe. There are no vendors on the beach and it felt safe to walk the beach any time of the day. The complex faces directly south so you see the sun from sunrise to sunset (both are great to watch from the Terrasol beach chairs). The pool is not too crowded and everyone we met were friendly. I particularly thought the owners that were there were very friendly even to those us of just renting for the week. Mario and his crew at the pool bar are great. They knew our names and unit numbers by day 2. It is a great place for both breakfast, lunch and of course afternoon cocktails! Terrasol is a very low key place so if you are looking for a party scene, this is not the place (although the party boats were parked of the shore a few different nights and the music played until 4:00am!) We didn't have a bad meal at any restaurant we tried. If you want an upscale dinner close by, try La Roca next door at the Grand Solmar. They have special menus several nights of the week so check before you go. It is a short walk on the beach but much longer if you take the road. Other place we enjoyed in the marina area were La Dolce (Italian just outside the marina); Captian Tony's (pizza in marina); Dos Mares (seafood at the marina at the shopping mall end)."

  • GR did not disappoint!!!

"We spent Christmas week at the Grand Regina with our adult children, joining other family members who have been returning to the GR for several years. This property is as beautiful as the pictures. Built into a cliff overlooking the Sea of Cortez, the views are magnificent and the Cabo weather was exceptional. Service at this property is very personal and rivals other high end properties. Kudos to our housekeeper Alma for her creative daily towel art! Cleanliness and amenities were excellent! Makeup mirrors, good hair dryers and big beautiful bathrooms kept the women happy! Triple sheeting on the super-comfy bed screamed 5stars. The fitness facility is nicely located with big glass windows providing a lovely view, but we would have appreciated more current cardio equipment with TV's. The two screens in the room were unviewable from the elliptical and treadmills. It took just a day to learn our way through the various elevators that you must take to get to different parts of the property, but the waits were never long. We only ate lunches at the pool, and took cabs to restaurants in Cabo and San Jose for dinners. Negotiating fares every time was annoying, but we were told by friends not to rent a car. Everyone in our family agreed that this property is a hidden gem. All the staff members knew us by name from day one, and could not have tried any harder to perfect every detail of our vacation. Carlos paved the way with all pre-arrival arrangements and dinner reservations. If you can score a unit at the GR for your cabo vacation, you will not be disappointed!!"

  • Great Place

"We rented this place for the month of April and had a great time. The views and the sounds of the ocean can't be beat. There is a management team on sight which was great as they quickly took care of any problems. Lupe, the guard, was great and answered a lot of our questions. There was a cleaning crew working on the landscaping all day and it showed. We got to know a few of the owners as they meet for drinks by the pool every night. We took the bus into Cabos a few times and it was very reasonable. We were close enough to San Jose & the Mega Mart to walk. The best part was that it was quiet and sometimes we were the only ones at the pool. There is a separate kid's pool so it kept the noise down on the adult side. I would definitely stay here again."
