  • We loved our Loreto vacation!

"Our family of four had the best time in this villa, in this unique little community, and in the lovely town of Loreto. Prior to our trip, the owner was always easy to work with and answered all questions by email or phone. The villa is as pictured and in a quiet location as described. It was perfect for my somewhat noisy family. The layout was nice with large bedrooms and restrooms, a very comfortable couch, plenty of towels and robes, and a functional kitchen which we used everyday for at least two meals. The villa was tiled throughout and decorated attractively, yet did not have lots of breakables which is another bonus for family travel. Also, it was very clean and came with a washer/dryer. Air conditioning worked well. July is the low tourist time in the area, so the villa community was quiet. Everyday, we walked to the beach (2 min. walk) and swam in the ocean. Such a calm bay! The water was warm and in the early mornings fish could be seen. In the evenings we swam in the pool which was also warm. The local wine bar makes very refreshing mango margaritas and the hotel had great tortilla chips with guacamole that they served to us under a palapa on the beach. The villa community landscaping is beautiful with an assortment of cacti, bougainvillea, palms, and many other lush plants that grow well in humid weather. Everyone we came in contact with was very helpful. In our rental car, we ventured to town or sites beyond everyday. We purchased groceries and Mexican pastries often at Super Ley Express in Loreto and ate the delicious fruit bars at the local ice cream place. We ate at several restaurants, but our favorite was a very small mom and pop place under a thatched roof in the middle of town. Not in the tourist section. We also enjoyed Vista Al Mar. The absolute highlight of our trip was twice going to the marina and hiring a small fishing boat with captain to take us to three islands to snorkel? On one trip we came upon a huge frolicking pod (80-100) of dolphins who swam and played around our boat! This was a wonderful vacation. We highly recommend this villa and community to other adventurous families!"

  • OUTSTANDING

"My family was lucky enough to stay at this Private House last fall for a week. The pictures do not do this paradise justice, it was fantastic. Perfect house for two or the entire family. The chef's kitchen was great and easy to cook in, we enjoyed the outdoor BBQ and the infinity pool. Everything you need is all right there. The views were out of this world. We are still talking about being in the pool and looking out to the Sea of Cortez. Property Management is very helpful. We will book this house again."

"Lovely property, great location within walking to Mega store and shopping / dining. A great value and highly recommended! The outdoor living space is massive and the condo is nicely appointed. Kitchen has everything, just as owner promised :) We only wish we could have stayed longer!"

  • Sand & Surf - 180 Degree View

"WOW...what a great find this bungalow was for our long weekend getaway! Seeing the ocean the moment we woke up, and enjoying the view all day long from the patio was incredible. The bungalow had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. It's located amongst a row of units that rent for much more, yet offers the same experience ... the most amazing 180 degree view of the Pacific Ocean. Cerritos beach is one of very few areas where you can swim, it has a fun beach restaurant, surf board rentals, etc. Tricky to find at night, but if you follow the owners directions exactly, you'll have no trouble. Speaking of the owner, coordinating the rental with Bob was a snap, and the local contact, Frank, was SUPER easy to reach and took good care of us. If I could go back to Casa Cerritos this weekend, I would in a heartbeat."
