  • First Trip without Kid's

"This was our first trip without our kids that are now in there mid 20's. We Went with 3 other couples that rent here also and had the time of our lives. Booked it in March and waiting for the day until the vacation started then the hurricane hit in September. We kept in touch with the owner keeping each other updated and we where able to use it. Stayed for a week and had a blast. Area is recovering well. They are rebuilding and eager to have the people come back. Lot's of stuff to do from going up to cabo to going to todo santos which is where the hotel californina is located. A must is going to downtown San Jose to check out the shops and the old town square. There is something for everyone to do. Just amazing seeing the green of the water mixing into the deep blue. Sunrise's are just amazing sitting out on the beach and watching the sun come up will take your breath away. Would recommend this to anyone you will have a good time."

  • Excellent Vacation Spot

"I stayed in this condo for two weeks this month and had a fabulous time. The location, serenity, view and comfort of the condo was more then I had expected. It was a treat to be able to cook your own meals, set your own schedule, have access to laundry ensuring that you don't have to carry excess baggage when travelling and all the home amenities you would want. When you want to go out it is a short stroll to a modern strip of restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and general store which makes fantastic sandwiches. There are taxis lined up across the street which will take you anywhere for relatively small fare if you did not rent a vehicle. The restaurants were some of the best I have been to which amazed me as I have to date always gone to all inclusive resorts and found the food lacking whether the resort was a 4 or 5+ star. After this experience I will never be a slave to an all inclusive again I have converted to renting and probably this condo exclusively as San Jose del Cabo Lucas seemed to have all the amenities I was looking for and this condo met all my expectations. The owner was so friendly and helpful with this transition to a condo vacation and gave me excellent directions and information. The people in the condo complex are very friendly and congregate at the gorgeous sea water (no chemicals yayyy) pool every afternoon where you can either lay in the sun or go for the shade in the well appointed palapa. I definitely intend to return and will extend my stay as it was difficult to leave after only 10 days. I have booked for 2015 and am looking at 2016. Thank you Kirk after this brutal winter your condo was exactly what the doctor ordered"

  • Great vacation home and hosts!

"We had a great time in Cabo and the house was perfect for our family of five. Extremely clean, well furnished, and like new. The pool and outside areas were beautifully landscaped. It is well located high on a hill in Los Cabos. Very close to shopping, restaurants, beaches, and Cabo San Lucas. Maria and Robert were gracious and helpful hosts. We talked with Maria and Robert 2 times before we arrived and they hooked us up with fishing, a private cook, and great recommendations for activities and restaurants. Went out fishing twice and caught lots of mahi, rooster fish, and Sierra mackerel. We also road ATVs, went snorkeling, and just had fun on the beach. The day we arrived we were met at the door by Elba, our cook, with margaritas and appetizers. We then spent the next 4 1/2 hours with our 18 year old twins and 24 year old daughter laughing on the porch by the pool while being served a four course meal. When is the last time you had that great of family time with teenagers? Priceless! Maria called twice while we were there to make sure everything was perfect and was very available if we needed anything. Wednesday before lunch we discovered we had no water at the house. We called Robert who said "Welcome to Mexico", but they had us covered. They had an auxiliary water source that was suppose to take over in situations like this but the pump did not kick on. Maria immediately called a plumber who by the time we returned from our afternoon activity had everything working again! We did not experience any inconvenience because of their immediate actions. We had a wonderful time in Cabo certainly in part because of our gracious hosts and their beautiful home."

  • YEAH!

"My wife and I spent 5 wonderful days in San Jose del Cabo to celebrate my birthday and it was the most relaxing and enjoyable time we have had. From the moment we set foot into the home to moment we left we felt a sense of calm and peace. The home has "amazing" views of the sunrise from the bedroom and the sunset from your private deck. The home was well appointed as to necessities, everything you would need for a comfortable relaxing get away. While we didn't have any planned activities we usually ventured out for bit during the day and then spent the majority of the remaining time lounging by the pool, listening to the ocean, reading a book and enjoying the peace and quiet. San Jose del Cabo is a short drive (10 minutes) away, and there you can find art galleries, shops, plenty of places to eat ( we absolutely loved Baja Brewing) and also a grocery store for the little things you may want to get. We did head down to Cabo San Lucas one morning, and after an hour on the marina boardwalk we couldn't wait to get back "home" and the quiet. There is a Marina closer (Puerto los Cabos) that has a wonderful boardwalk and much less people or congestion. We ate a couple of meals at Buzzards which was great and also enjoyed quite a ride up the coast to a secluded beach for some down time. Peter was very easy to work with and Judy was very helpful when we arrived and also if we had any questions. If you are looking for a place to unwind and relax, you will not find a better place than the Casa in Laguna Hills. Thank you Peter for sharing your home with us."
