  • Beautiful surfside retreat; can’t wait to go back!

"We had a great stay at this spacious and comfortable condo overlooking Costa Azul beach. The unit is bright and airy with a large balcony and incredible ocean views. It was very comfortable for five adults. The open layout of the kitchen, dining area, and living room, along with the large balcony meant there was plenty of room for everyone; we never felt crowded. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained as well with a nice pool overlooking the beach and an adjacent shaded area that provided a perfect vantage point of the surf. Lounge chairs were plentiful and always available. The condo’s greatest attribute may be its location. Situated on the Costa Azul Beach, the condo is literally right on top of two great surf breaks, Middles and the Rock. Middles offers a mellower wave that is great for beginners while the Rock has a very consistent and rippable right along with a shorter, faster left. Two other breaks are within walking (at low tide) or paddling distance. Renting boards was super convenient and affordable at Costa Azul surf shop right across the street. They have a large selection and will let you swap out boards during a multi-day rental. The location is also a great launching point for exploring the Los Cabos area. San Jose del Cabo is five minutes away and Cabo San Lucas is only about twenty minutes. Driving is easy (we went with Cactus car rental) and cabs are plentiful for the times you don’t want to drive. We stayed a couple of nights on Medano Beach in Cabo San Lucas. I recommend that if you want to surround yourself with drunken frat boys, overweight cruise ship passengers and non-stop club music. Otherwise, stay at Las Olas and take a cab to San Lucas for a night out, then retreat back to the peace and quiet of Costa Azul. Make sure to head to Zippers for a meal or two on the beach. Guacamaya’s in San Jose del Cabo should not be missed, and if you want to treat yourself to something special, check out Casiano’s. Overall, we had a great experience at Las Olas and can’t wait to return!"

  • The Perfect Spot

"This is a great stay for surfers. The unit itself is great; spacious, comfortable, fully equipped, AC and a great view from the 5th floor! Walk down and paddle out to one of four surf breaks.... zippers, little pescadito, la roca and/or old mans! The owners are easy to get a hold of and communicate with... simple booking. I highly recommend!"

  • Breathtaking View

"Las Olas was a great fit for us. We traveled with our son and his girlfriend and the two bedroom, two bath condo was perfect..... large enough for each couple to have their own space. The view from the kitchen, living/dining room and deck was spectacular. Our son is a chef and was looking forward to the fresh seafood and Mexican food to cook. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals, we set at the large beautiful counter and watched him cook as we sampled. The beach was just steps away and swimming in the ocean so refreshing. We enjoyed the pool and had cocktails and a friendly game of dominos at the pool side table in the late afternoons. Steven and the staff were great to work with. Downtown San Jose del Cabo was really quant and charming. We rode the bus a lot and found it very easy to get on and off. We would definitely go back."

  • Edna Saved us From a Disaster, Literally

"On 9-9-14, we booked a last minute trip with 9-14-14 arrival, and paid in full using Paypal. Later that day, Edna was nice enough to call and ask us if we realized a hurricane was brewing. We had checked the weather but apparently tropical storm Odile became a named storm about the time I hit send on the Paypal transfer. We agreed to watch for a day or so and when we decided to cancel the trip, Edna quickly and cheerfully refunded out entire amount. Boy are we happy with our decision. Now just hoping the place didn't sustain too much damage because it looks perfect for us and we want to reschedule someday!"
