"Thank you Ken, for all your help – you are a great landlord. Your condo is in the best location with easy access to the Mega store, bus service and perfect for me to take extended walks. Covered many miles, visited shops, checked out many area, all on foot. I found the condo well equipped, very clean, comfortable bed, and made much use of the deck - coffee in the morning and wine in the late afternoon, watching the repair work across the street at the Barcelo Resort etc. The weather, of course, was perfect. I enjoyed my month and a half stay and will definitely recommend your condo to friends and family."

"At first I thought that Jazz corner doesn’t really need another 5 star review. It gets 5 stars from everyone who stays there. But then I realized that we were one of the first guests to stay in the condo after hurricane Odile, so people might wonder if it’s still a great vacation condo.
The condo is huge, and beautifully appointed. From artwork to furnishings everything is first class. The layout is beautiful, and with the second bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom, you can have guests over and still have lots of privacy. The pictures and description on the website are not exaggerated. If I had to find a negative it would be that they need more end tables on the deck for those afternoon cocktail hours, but that’s about it.
The condo has fabulous views of the sea of Cortez, the estuary, and even back to the town of San Jose. If you enjoy watching birds, this place is a treat. We had vultures and frigate birds soar so close to us you could almost reach out and touch them. One night we were treated to an air show by three peregrine falcons. And of course there is whale watching at that time of year as well.
The good part is that you are on the third floor of a condo the sits high on a hill. The bad part is that the walk home always ends with a climb. We enjoy walking, so we only rented a car for a day or two, but if you have difficulty walking then you may need a car full time.
The resort is fabulous. The pools are beautiful and the staff is very accommodating. They also have a small pitch and putt area right below jazz corner. It has a couple of bunkers, so you can get your golf fix in….sort of.
At first we were a little disappointed in San Jose. Of course the hurricane did a lot of damage, and it takes time to get things cleaned up. The more we walked around the town, the more we started to enjoy the people. We were there during the Festival of San Jose, and boy do these people love to party. You have to get out and be a part of it, especially the fair grounds and the Charreria (some of it may not be for everyone). The only downside is that the music goes on all night, and you will hear it very clearly from jazz corner.
So the bottom line for us is that while we loved our stay in San Jose, it was Jazz corner that made the vacation outstanding. It is an absolutely fabulous condo in a beautiful resort with spectacular views. What else do you really need"

"i had a great stay at this condo. Everything was as advertised. The condo was spotless and the pool was right outside the door. The property manager will leave a cellphone for you to contact her if you need anything. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo to everyone. Thank you Jack.. It was a pleasure dealing with you."

"The condo is comfortable and playfully decorated. The upstairs open terrace is a dream at night. Owners are laid-back to deal with. The owner's book of condo details they offer could use a serious update though. If you plan to just hang at the condo the whole time, you won't need a car. Otherwise, the condo IS at least a 20 minute walk in heat (not 10) to the grocery store. We finally rented a car half way through our trip and it made a huge difference. Most everything in town was rebuilt from the hurricane at this point, just a few businesses closed."
