"Great, great experience. Condo is well kept, fully stocked, and very well taken care of. San Jose del Cabo is a more relaxed area. 25 minutes from Cabo San Lucas. If you need a car, the Ford Expedition will do the trick. It's a little older, but definitely does the job. I will definitely rent from Andy again!"

"The Hacienda was nicely decorated and centrally located near San Jose. The beach was a close 4 block sidewalk to the sand and the MEGA grocery just 3 minutes or less by car has everything you would need to stock the kitchen plus more. The view from the property was nice. The Starbucks next to the MEGA was great but there is also a nice coffee shop in the MEGA. There were 7 of us and the size of the property was perfect. We used the pool a lot with the kids since the surf in June can be rough at the beach. There is a baby beach nearby at Palmilla but you need to use the car as it is a 10 minute drive. The managers and owners were very responsive to our needs.
All in all we were very comfortable at the property and would recommend to others."

"Our family (seven people including two 20-something couples and a 16-year-old boy) spent four days at Leo and Romy's place. We could not have been more pleased with the location and the lodging quarters. Leo and Romy are gracious and kind hosts. The place really is an "oasis" in the middle of La Paz. Easy walking distance to the malecon (10 mins) made meals and sunset viewing very easy. The kids loved the beautiful pool and outdoor common area. Leo kindly arranged a day on the water that included sea lions, whale sharks, dolphins and beaches. This was our second trip to La Paz and we could not have enjoyed the trip more thanks, in large part, to Leo and Romy."

"Casa Esperanza is truly magical. The pictures just don’t do it justice. From the moment you walk in you feel like you are on vacation. The view is incredible, you can see whales breaching right from the patio while sipping your morning coffee or evening cocktail. As soon as we arrived the little ones were playing in the pool –perfect for all ages with zero entry for the little ones and enough space for the older kids & adults to swim all day. An extra bonus swim up bar so they don’t even have to get out for food or drinks. Baruch arranged a delicious Mexican meal to be cooked at the house upon arrival, had the kitchen pre-stocked for us, and massages outside at sunset with the ocean breeze and sound of crashing waves. So great that we had the chef & masseuse come back a second time during our visit. A perfect way to start our relaxing vacation before falling asleep in the heavenly beds. Everything about our visit was perfection. We specifically loved access to the Esperanza resort amenities – nearby Punta Ballena Beach Club is a short 5 min walk or golf cart ride away with breathtaking views of waves crashing on the rocks and Lands End in the background. We ventured there for morning workouts at the gym or early afternoon drinks and dinner while the kids played in the pool. We also took advantage of Las Estrellas which is a 10 min walk away. They have great daily work out classes (yoga with Blanca was a favorite), and delicious breakfast. We spent several days and relaxed by the giant pools while the kids swam and did the kids club from 11am – 1pm (incl. piñata party, stand up paddleboard, blow up waterslide & water balloon fight). At night we enjoyed roasting marshmallows back at our fire pit and had wonderful dinners out arranged by Baruch (Sunset Da Mona Lisa & El Farrallon). If you need a babysitting service, Diana of BajaBabysitting, is responsible, conscientious, and the kids loved her! And Rosie is an absolute gem – she took care of all of us by keeping the house clean & comfortable. All around this is one of the best vacations we’ve ever had and we’re ready to book our return trip."
