  • Great house, great location!

"Casa De Vida is such a lovely place to stay. The house is so well set up, you immediately feel right at home. The house is very pretty, has beautiful landscaping, and so many great viewing decks for every time of the day. The hammocks under the outside palapa are dreamy! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach where you can see some great surfing, watch whales and take beautiful walks. We loved stopping at the El Nido cafe on our way back and having a bowl of their delicious fish chowder. This place is a real Gem!"

  • The Real Todos Santos

"My husband and I stayed at Casita Huerta for ten days while attending the wedding festivities of close California friends. The property is amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed picking fresh oranges and avocados daily! The casita was perfect for the two of us, with the 4-floor to ceiling doors that open the main living space to the outdoors, a comfortable queen bed, a small but adequate kitchen, and gorgeous sunrise views from the large kitchen windows. The loft (which has a separate entrance, but is open to, and looks down on the casita living area) was ideal for our adult son who joined us for a few days. The photos and descriptions in the listing are accurate, and it really is just a 20 minute (albeit very dusty) walk into town. We made good use of the surfboards at nearby La Pastora beach. This is not a sterile tourist hotel, and you must expect some critters, but if you desire the real Mexico then it's a five star! Pam was helpful but unobtrusive. Her casa, although next door, is well screened by the beautiful tropical plantings and mature fruit trees. We look forward to returning."

  • The Casita at Casa Paloma

"BCS a great place to visit, but Cabo is not quite what you have in mind? Me neither! That’s why I sought this more remote getaway location, right on the Pacific Ocean that comes complete with flying manta rays much of the time and whales in the right season. Dine in or dine out – your choice. Lots of cozy places to choose from within minutes on the highway north to Todos Santos at Piscadero, or drive in to Todos Santos for still more options. What to do? The ocean for one. There are miles of beaches to hike comb, and explore, or hike the headlands for outstanding views. Then that are the mountains to the east. Speaking of those mountains – the nights make for cool sleeping with the breezes coming down from those slopes. And the ever-present sound of the waves crashing on the beach is white noise from King Neptune or his BCS equivalent. Sweet dreams. We had the two-bedroom, one-bath casita complete with full kitchen and living room. There is a front porch with table and chairs for outside dining, stairs to the roof for great views in all directions or just lounging. Want a quiet place to read or just seek solitude – head up to the roof. The grounds are like a botanical garden BCS style. Beautiful! Lastly, the people are friendly and most helpful. There is communication even if you have yet to master Spanish or even if you know only a few words. It’s not a problem. From the airport as San Jose del Cabo it’s about an hour to Casa Paloma. There is a very handy Costco store where you may choose to stock up for your stay in Cabo just off the highway as you enter Cabo from the east – a beautiful drive. Why am I writing this? I need to go back!"

  • Incredible

"My husband and I stayed here at the advice of dear friends. We decided on just two nights, so we could see more of the area we have fallen in love with. Mateo and Jessica have created a Shangri-la here. The villa is so spectacular that we did not leave for the entire time we stayed. They advertised breakfast and a small lunch; the food was delicious and fresh from the garden. Lunch was so generous that we did not need more food for dinner. On our next visit we will surely stay for longer at Villa Santa Cruz."
