  • Extremely nice furnishing for a rental condo.

"From the plush towels, down pillows and memory foam to the great service we received from the owners, this was by far the most comfortable place we have stayed. I loved the large well appointed master and naps on the main balcony chaises, where I always found some shade for the heat of the afternoon. Lingering meals at the large outdoor dining table or grilling by the pool were my favorite. Cooking was no problem in the completely up to date kitchen. Coffee in the morning on our private master balcony, Plenty of privacy for 2 couples or more. The extra blow-up mattress works great for kids in the living room, if needed. Mega (Mexixcan Walmart), a short walk away has an awesome bakery and pretty much anything you need. Starbucks, ice-cream, spa's, salons, clothing shops, cafes and a limited amount of nightlife/bar scene all within a couple of blocks outside Las Mananitas' entry. *Tip, after a few days learned to walk through the center of the property and not through the parking lot to get up to the entrance...its a prettier walk. Explore the property and gym the fist day. We will be back."

  • Fantastic Casa and owners!

"I don't know which to praise first: the casa or Nina and Nick. Nina should be acknowledge first for her helpfulness, desire to meet all the renters' needs and wants, her concerns, generosity and thoughtfulness. She went way beyond my expiations! Nick was very helpful with car insurance and the golf course. As far as the property: it was clean, very attractive, comfortable, (beds are as comfortable as my beds at home) very well stocked in kitchen amenities, towels, beach towels, lounge chairs, local art and on and on. The location of the casa was perfect since it was a half a block away from the 17th green, with beautiful views of the mountains and the pool from the terrace and viewing tower and only steps from the swimming pool. In my opinion, this casa has the best location that's around the pool. It is back from the pool so that it is secluded and quiet. Thanks Nina and Nick for sharing your home."

  • Paradise in Cabo

"Everything from planning, booking, arriving, etc was such an easy process. Kris was always there to answer any questions & be of any help that you need. Kris's tips were exceptional and I don't know what we would have done without them. The beauty of the resort & condo were much more than we expected, the pictures don't do it justice. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with our niece and her husband and I couldn't think of a better way to do it. We also chartered Kris's boat, "Rising Sun". We didn't catch any fish but had a fabulous time. Javier & Miguel couldn't have tried any harder to please us. While in Cabo, dinner at the Mona Lisa is a must! If you don't stay with Kris, you'll be missing out, while in Cabo. We are only home 2 days and I'm already thinking about when we can return. We will be back! Thanks so much for sharing your condo & hospitality with us! Dawn & Dale Gautreaux Geaux Tigers!"

  • Excellent Condo

"Stayed at the Costa Baja Condominiums overlooking the Marina....unit 301....found it through www.vrbo.com....the owner's very easy to work with....we stayed 12 nights and although I've been going to La Paz for over 20 years, this was my best vacation. I don't think I can go back to Hotels after this experience as it was very relaxing and easy....everything is made to make life easy for you...there is a laundry facility with workers to wash and fold your clothes....we had a weeks worth of clothes done for about $10.....there is a small general store there for you so you don't have to go into town, which is very convenient.....also, there is a list of recommendations for restraints and activities....the beach club which is right on the beach is within a 5 minute walk.....don't get the condos confused with the hotel....the condos are owned by individual people and doesn't have anything to do with the hotel...you will have a blast."

Baja California Sur Travel Tips

Family Fun at Baja California Sur Vacation Rentals

Baja California Sur is a great family destination. The vacation homes available vary in size and some can accommodate up to 16 people. This means that you can enjoy a vacation with your siblings and their extended families, and have a whale of a time enjoying the beaches and other activities together. There are a number of well-known resort towns along the coast and many vacation rentals available in each town. Some of the more well-known vacation areas include Todos Santos, San Jose Del Cabo, Tortuga, La Paz, and La Ribera. Favorite activities include fishing and golf, although there are plenty of other activities to keep the kids occupied. The beaches are great for building sandcastles, although the sea can sometimes be a bit too rough for swimming. Many of the vacation homes have swimming pools where you can cool off from the Mexican heat.

Seasons to Visit Baja California Sur Beach Houses

Baja California Sur enjoys a year-round hot climate. For some people, the summer months of June through August may be a bit too extreme but still many families come to enjoy their vacations during this time of year. Possibly the better time to visit is December through April when the weather is slightly milder and temperatures aren’t quite as hot. You can still enjoy warm sunshine each day and if the evenings get a bit chilly, you can always light up the fireplace to keep warm.

Luxury and Comfort at Baja California Sur Resorts

You can enjoy sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez from the bedroom of your vacation villa. Wake up each morning with the sea peaking over the water and glistening in the early dawn. Large shaded decks provide the ideal place to enjoy meals and socialize with family and friends. Take a batch of your favorite books and enjoy reading in a hammock while the warm breeze blows overhead. If you enjoy watching the waves, you may be fortunate to spot whales, dolphins or rays playing in the waves below. You will find that most villas are extremely spacious with multiple dining and living areas suitable for groups vacationing together. Modern and well-equipped kitchens make holiday catering easy. Some villas offer the services of a cook or house manager who will take care of groceries and preparing meals upon request. Bedrooms have ceiling fans or air conditioners to provide respite from the heat. This means that you are able to enjoy the warm climate without feeling discomfort.

Things to See and Do near Baja California Sur Vacation Rentals

One of the favorite activities on the Baja California Sur peninsula is fishing. Often, you can fish from the beach right outside your vacation home which negates the need to get in your car and travel anywhere. If you would like to head out and try to catch some of the big game fish such as marlin, tuna, dorado or wahoo then it’s best to join a fishing charter. The boats go out daily from the local marinas and are crewed by professional skippers that know where to find the fish. Be sure to take a wide-brimmed hat and loads of sunscreen, otherwise you may come back looking like a lobster yourself. There are several luxury health spas in the region where you can enjoy some pampering treatments and beauty therapy. This is an ideal way to spend your day when your spouse heads to one of the top-quality golf courses in the area.
