Viva Villa Luna Nueva!
"I recently spent 5 days at Villa Luna Neuva with a party of 9. Villa Luna Nueva hosted the entire party comfortably. The outdoor area was ample and provided an entertainment area. The indoor space was ample and spotless.
Juan made coordinating a stay for a large group easy. He provided everything from transportation, activities, a chef, and more. I can't say enough about the benefit of having a fun and knowledgeable local organize things. For instance, we were picked up at the airport and Juan greeted us with a fully stocked kitchen.
The owners were equally terrific. We left the a phone at the house and Brian helped get it back Stateside without incident. All in all, we had a terrific trip and comfortably recommend Villa Luna Nueva to others."

"Our group comes down every year with most staying at the Palmas. I generally book a Master Suite in the Villas... this year I went for a split with my best friend and his wife and couldn't be more happy that I did. Fishing this year was off the charts. Is there such a thing as too many Marlin??? Answer... yes!!!! Could not have asked for a better time. The amenities and convenience of this unit are so good I'm almost hesitant to pump it up too much for fear of someone edging me out on booking it again next year. The owner is very thorough and easy to book with, the Villas property manager is steady and tends to the needs of the owners of the Villas and their guests, and the town still has the quaint feel of a sleepy fishing village while offering a variety of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance. Thanks Much Don!!!!! I'll let you know as soon as I get the dates confirmed for our trip next year..."

"Wow, this condo, location on the beach and the quaint town of San Jose was the best place to turn 40. Myself, husband and 10 year old daughter loved our 9 nights/8days a El Zalate. Les the condo owner went above and beyond on every aspect of booking, replying to emails, providing a well stocked condo, comfy beds, and travel info via email at the condo. The info he provides for the area/places to eat/things to see and do is the best I have ever received when renting a condo. I usually research all of that information on my own but Les made it that much easier for me. El Zalate has been super quiet and relaxing and we would totally stay here again. I even have a few friends that enjoyed seeing our pictures and are talking about booking this condo.
Surfing: We took surfing lessons from Costa Azul Surf Shop--awesome experience! The staff and instructors were top notch. It was our first time surfing and we all rode waves all the way into shore. :)
Snorkeling: We snorkeled at Chileno Bay--brought our own gear from home but Les does have some snorkel gear in the condo. Chileno was great and we saw a ton of fish. We were able to catch the bus right out front of El Zalate to go to Chileno Bay and back. We also went to Playa Santa Maria--the surf was too high to snorkel but the beach is gorgeous. The sand is soft, pink granite. There were a few palapas there for shade too. We took the umbrella that Les has in the condo to Chileno with us--it worked great for some shade. We also used the travel coolers to bring lunch and water to the beach when we were out and about.
Food: Shopped at the Mega twice: 10-15 minute walk from the condo, or you can take the bus. We carried our backpacks with us so carrying the groceries back was easier.
Restaurants: Loved Mama Mia(right next door). Sardina Cantina(right up on the street next to Trader Dick's--fish tacos--YES!) and Las Guacamaya's(Amazing). Feel free to check Trip Advisor Reviews for these places--great reviews. These were our top three places!
We went into downtown San Jose for a shopping day and we ended up taking the Urbano bus(picks up behind the Mega). It's the bus that looks like a school bus and it's the bus that the locals take. It was super fun. All of the busses are inexpensive and easy to use. We took a bus to Cabo for a day too. You can totally rent a car for $25-$30/day but we enjoyed the busses.
AMAZING/WONDERFUL/WARM/WELCOMING! We will miss Mexico!"

"This condo is one of 5 that I have rented at Marina Sol and I hope to stay here again! Being on the ground floor, with a terrace facing the pool was ideal. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable. The fridge was stocked with beer and bottled water when we arrived which was such a thoughtful gesture!
Plenty of closet space (three girls and still plenty of room for clothes) and all the utensils/towels/accessories we needed. Obviously, Marina Sol's location and pool are the stars of the show, but the staff cannot be overlooked. The property managers and concierge really took time to make sure I was settled in and even kept watch for my friends for me. The staff at the pool were always pleasant and never pushy, which is nice after being hounded to buy drinks at the beach. The property manager gave us a welcome packet with drink tickets and helpful information. Little details really make such a huge impact and they were absolutely appreciated.
It was originally only supposed to be me and a friend, but when another friend joined in, Susan was totally accommodating and she was right, that couch was a great bed."
