  • Perfect home for 3 couples

"We rented the whole house for a week with 2 other couples (ages 30-40). Beautiful home, great location, plenty of space. We were luck enough to get the master bedroom/bath. Woke up every morning with the sunrise on our small balcony. Then, either drank coffee on the rooftop deck or on the beach - house is one house away from the beach. The two other couples each had their own rooms and shared a bathroom. The kitchen/dining/living area is separate, so if some wanted to stay up later, the noise was minimal. We spent a lot of time on the rooftop deck in the am and pm. Just a few doors down is the Hotel Spa Buena Vista. Supposedly they have recently started charging $10/day to hang out there, but we were never charged. Just walked in, ordered a drink and snacks... Although, we did not spend much time there. Spent some quality time on the beach and drove a couple times down to 9 Palms (1.5 hours on a mostly dirt road - conditions vary - only one flat tire) to surf. Great spot for intermediate/beginners, depending upon the swell of course. The house is a few miles from Los Barriles, where you pretty much have to go for groceries and dining. We rented a car for the week and it worked out great. Not sure about the bus schedule. Jeff is easy and accommodating. His paddle board was recently broken - not sure if he is going to replace - but you can rent paddle boards in town as well."

  • Fabulous beachfront condo

"What a fabulous condo. Views to just die for and a condo well set up to become our home away from home for our stay. We really had a relaxing stay. We hired a car (from Antonio at Cactus Rentals at airport - highly recommended) and enjoyed zipping around the sights in Cabo and having a few road trips further afield. Jeannie and Linda are great at their communication and answered any questions pretty much straight away. I highly recommend this condo for a great stay in Cabo San Lucas."

  • Great time staying in your lovely condo!

"Hi Jim and Barbara, We all had such a great time staying in your lovely condo! It was just perfect for us. We used the kitchen for about half of our meals and always ate outside, which was our favorite place to be. The kitchen was well equipped and the decor in the spacious condo was great. We appreciate your gracious hospitality so very much and hope to be back to visit again. Terrasol gets two thumbs up from us. It is so quiet there, yet the walk into town is quite easy. Thank you again for everything! Steve and Linda"

  • Perfect Mexico beach vacation

"We were looking for a relaxing beach vacation away from our busy everyday lives, and this was the perfect place to relax. The house is huge, and was a great fit for my husband and two friends. But as much as we loved the house, which was clean and well outfitted,( even has a pool table), it was the outdoor space that will bring us back. The patio is huge, with 4 comfy hammocks, 2 chaise lounges, 2 swing chairs, 2 large outdoor table sets, a gas BBQ, a wood BBQ and a fire pit with more chairs. To top things off, Coyote Bay feels like your own private place. We kayaked and paddle boarded (2 each included w/ the house), fished and snorkeled every day. The highlight of our trip was paddleboarding with the 3 whale sharks. When you visit make sure you try the restaurant in the center of the beach area at Santispak Beach -the garlic shrimp is amazing and the price reasonable. Breakfast and lunch was great, too. Heads up, this property is off the grid, solar and propane power, which wasn't a problem at all with the 4 of us. Internet is spotty, due to the remote location, and no TV (bring some DVDs if you must have that kind of entertainment) or cell service. None of these were issues for us, we have never had a more relaxing, fun, special "unplugged" holiday. We highly recommend this property"

Baja California Sur Travel Tips

Family Fun at Baja California Sur Vacation Rentals

Baja California Sur is a great family destination. The vacation homes available vary in size and some can accommodate up to 16 people. This means that you can enjoy a vacation with your siblings and their extended families, and have a whale of a time enjoying the beaches and other activities together. There are a number of well-known resort towns along the coast and many vacation rentals available in each town. Some of the more well-known vacation areas include Todos Santos, San Jose Del Cabo, Tortuga, La Paz, and La Ribera. Favorite activities include fishing and golf, although there are plenty of other activities to keep the kids occupied. The beaches are great for building sandcastles, although the sea can sometimes be a bit too rough for swimming. Many of the vacation homes have swimming pools where you can cool off from the Mexican heat.

Seasons to Visit Baja California Sur Beach Houses

Baja California Sur enjoys a year-round hot climate. For some people, the summer months of June through August may be a bit too extreme but still many families come to enjoy their vacations during this time of year. Possibly the better time to visit is December through April when the weather is slightly milder and temperatures aren’t quite as hot. You can still enjoy warm sunshine each day and if the evenings get a bit chilly, you can always light up the fireplace to keep warm.

Luxury and Comfort at Baja California Sur Resorts

You can enjoy sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez from the bedroom of your vacation villa. Wake up each morning with the sea peaking over the water and glistening in the early dawn. Large shaded decks provide the ideal place to enjoy meals and socialize with family and friends. Take a batch of your favorite books and enjoy reading in a hammock while the warm breeze blows overhead. If you enjoy watching the waves, you may be fortunate to spot whales, dolphins or rays playing in the waves below. You will find that most villas are extremely spacious with multiple dining and living areas suitable for groups vacationing together. Modern and well-equipped kitchens make holiday catering easy. Some villas offer the services of a cook or house manager who will take care of groceries and preparing meals upon request. Bedrooms have ceiling fans or air conditioners to provide respite from the heat. This means that you are able to enjoy the warm climate without feeling discomfort.

Things to See and Do near Baja California Sur Vacation Rentals

One of the favorite activities on the Baja California Sur peninsula is fishing. Often, you can fish from the beach right outside your vacation home which negates the need to get in your car and travel anywhere. If you would like to head out and try to catch some of the big game fish such as marlin, tuna, dorado or wahoo then it’s best to join a fishing charter. The boats go out daily from the local marinas and are crewed by professional skippers that know where to find the fish. Be sure to take a wide-brimmed hat and loads of sunscreen, otherwise you may come back looking like a lobster yourself. There are several luxury health spas in the region where you can enjoy some pampering treatments and beauty therapy. This is an ideal way to spend your day when your spouse heads to one of the top-quality golf courses in the area.
