  • CABO MIKE'S Place!

"This was our 1st trip to Cabo. It was my brother's 50th Birthday. My brother, his girlfriend and others on this trip had all been to Cabo before; & obviously They & Now-We, All Love Cabo! I've never planned a vacation through VRBO, but immediately I was sold because Mike was always available, has great attn. to detail:giving us helpful information on everything U can imagine! His recommendations were right on & greatly enjoyed by all(Mike even included price range). His Condos are lovely and clean, clean, clean! Did I mention I Love staying in a Clean place? The whole Marina Plaza is Clean! What a Joy! We loved being on the Marina side: watching the beautiful boats, yachts, wildlife (the seals swim right up into the docks-so fun to watch!)... The immediate area surrounding the Condo: shopping, restaurants, bars, boardwalk nicely paved/ well lit for easy walking. The staff at Marina Cabo Plaza too can't be beat! I could have hung out right in that immediate, lovely, marina area & never left! Of course, the other adventure seekers in our group, had us doing all kinds of fun stuff. My brother's girlfriend chartered an amazing party boat that was like a floating island. They provided the the best authentic Mex food, cooked right on the boat, everything U can think of to drink, snorkeling, kayaks…And-we boarded right there at the Marina. The water is gorgeous; absolutely perfect for swimming and snorkeling even in March! The beach is an easy walk. In the couple weeks we have been home, we have talked to several people who stayed both at the Marina & others that stayed in offsite resorts. The folks that stayed at the Marina liked not having to have a car, everything very convenient, as opposed to the resort folks that had limited choices. We felt very safe staying in the Marina area. We girls walked around at night & with all the lovely restaurants' cafe seating adjacent to the boardwalk, provides a great people place to stroll, stop for a bite to eat, have a drink, shop, and repeat (tons of great places!) In addition to Clean, I forgot to mention the condo has everything U need; it's attractive, very comfortable and has a great private balcony for taking it all in. One important thing I want to add, is it's Unpretentious! I Love that! Cabo is Mexico's Best! We developed our own term of endearment, "CABO BABY"!"

  • The perfect getaway!

"If you are looking for a clean, elegant getaway this is the place for you. The owners have thought of everything to make your trip easy and relaxing. If you are debating on a couple different resort options, then PICK THIS ONE. You will not regret it. This residence was perfectly located, quiet, clean and beautifully decorated. Paul, the concierge is awesome! He was helpful and made our trip seamless. I hope to be back soon to have a glass of wine, overlooking the gorgeous view on the patio! THANK YOU!!"

  • La Paz

"The condo we stayed at was very nice and the overall complex was great. We did lose electricity for 24 hours and no AC for a day after the power came back on. It was very hot the whole week due to rain coming in so that was cumbersome. The communication was very vague which made it frustrating. You do have to take a boat ride everytime you want to go to town - so you do have to plan around pick up times shuttle to boat etc. If you are there mainly to relax it would not be a problem."

  • Cabo Paradise!

"My family and I stayed at this beautiful home for 2 weeks. It was everything the listing said it was and beyond. It has it's own private pool, and it's just a short walk to the beach. The house has fabulous views of the ocean! It is beautifully furnished with designer touches and there was everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our meals. It is close to town, shops and restaurants. We left the house only once to go to the grocery store, no other reason to leave because everything you need is right here! It's your very own mini resort! The owners were great to work with, responded to all communication right away. I recommend this property and will definitely be back again for another visit."

Baja California Sur Travel Tips

Family Fun at Baja California Sur Vacation Rentals

Baja California Sur is a great family destination. The vacation homes available vary in size and some can accommodate up to 16 people. This means that you can enjoy a vacation with your siblings and their extended families, and have a whale of a time enjoying the beaches and other activities together. There are a number of well-known resort towns along the coast and many vacation rentals available in each town. Some of the more well-known vacation areas include Todos Santos, San Jose Del Cabo, Tortuga, La Paz, and La Ribera. Favorite activities include fishing and golf, although there are plenty of other activities to keep the kids occupied. The beaches are great for building sandcastles, although the sea can sometimes be a bit too rough for swimming. Many of the vacation homes have swimming pools where you can cool off from the Mexican heat.

Seasons to Visit Baja California Sur Beach Houses

Baja California Sur enjoys a year-round hot climate. For some people, the summer months of June through August may be a bit too extreme but still many families come to enjoy their vacations during this time of year. Possibly the better time to visit is December through April when the weather is slightly milder and temperatures aren’t quite as hot. You can still enjoy warm sunshine each day and if the evenings get a bit chilly, you can always light up the fireplace to keep warm.

Luxury and Comfort at Baja California Sur Resorts

You can enjoy sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez from the bedroom of your vacation villa. Wake up each morning with the sea peaking over the water and glistening in the early dawn. Large shaded decks provide the ideal place to enjoy meals and socialize with family and friends. Take a batch of your favorite books and enjoy reading in a hammock while the warm breeze blows overhead. If you enjoy watching the waves, you may be fortunate to spot whales, dolphins or rays playing in the waves below. You will find that most villas are extremely spacious with multiple dining and living areas suitable for groups vacationing together. Modern and well-equipped kitchens make holiday catering easy. Some villas offer the services of a cook or house manager who will take care of groceries and preparing meals upon request. Bedrooms have ceiling fans or air conditioners to provide respite from the heat. This means that you are able to enjoy the warm climate without feeling discomfort.

Things to See and Do near Baja California Sur Vacation Rentals

One of the favorite activities on the Baja California Sur peninsula is fishing. Often, you can fish from the beach right outside your vacation home which negates the need to get in your car and travel anywhere. If you would like to head out and try to catch some of the big game fish such as marlin, tuna, dorado or wahoo then it’s best to join a fishing charter. The boats go out daily from the local marinas and are crewed by professional skippers that know where to find the fish. Be sure to take a wide-brimmed hat and loads of sunscreen, otherwise you may come back looking like a lobster yourself. There are several luxury health spas in the region where you can enjoy some pampering treatments and beauty therapy. This is an ideal way to spend your day when your spouse heads to one of the top-quality golf courses in the area.
