  • Spring Break Vacation

"It was our first time to Cabo and boy was it gorgeous. Pueblo Bonito Sunset is a very lovely facilitate with customer orientated staff. The pools are beautiful and you can find one that suits your style. I wouldn't recommend this for people w/disability because the hills are steep for walking. Granted they have golf carts that you can get quite quickly to take you to different locations. They offer free shuttle bus to downtown Cabo that run 10 am - 10 pm. Made it easy to get to town with all the restuarants. You can also hail a cab from the main lobby. We would definitely go back."

  • Wonderful Honeymoon Spot!

"My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful little condo to celebrate our honeymoon. It was a cozy 1 bedroom, with a private balcony that sat right above a gorgeous seascape. We had everything we needed; a fully functioning kitchen, large bathroom with a walk-in shower, very comfortable bed, and a plethora of DVD's for the couple nights we stayed in. We stayed in August, so the resort was relatively secluded. We had a swim up bar with a mini kitchen that had the most delicious quesadillas! It was literally within 400 feet from our front door. Everyone on staff were so welcoming and accommodating. All of the other condo owners that we met were also fantastic people! We felt like we were part of the community within a couple days. Stevie and Michael who own condos at the Misiones Del Cabo were so helpful and generous and really made our stay fantastic! There was a great little cove that was a short walk down from our condo where we snorkeled and sun-bathed. (Stevie let us borrow his snorkeling gear), but I would recommend bringing some to anyone who stayed at the Misiones Del Cabo. Our balcony was gorgeous and soothing and at night we could see storms off into the distance that lit up the whole horizon, it was absolutely amazing! Debbie and Bill have a great condo and they were so sweet to us, they even sent us a honeymoon gift upon our arrival. The condo was very clean, and the resort itself was gorgeous. In one of the pools, you looked directly upon the Arch in Cabo San Lucas, and can witness some of the most beautiful sunsets. I highly recommend this resort to anyone. Families, couples, friends... It was a fantastic price for one of the most amazing weeks I've ever had. Thank you Debbie and Bill for the best honeymoon we could have imagined!"

  • Cabo is beautiful

"We had a wonderful relaxing week in Cabo San Lucas. We booked our stay at the Villa Haydee in Pedregal through Earth, Sea & Sky Vacations (ESSV / CaboVillas.com). Kim, our travel coordinator did a wonderful job at scheduling our trip. There were no unexpected surprises. The Villa Haydee is a really nice home in Pedregal that overlooks the Sea of Cortez and the marina. Great house overall and very clean. There were 3 couples and we all felt we had our own space. The pool was much smaller than we anticipated. Given the view it would have been great if it were larger; however, the hot tub is adjoining to the pool so we had both which was great for our group. The house is walking distance to the marina, shopping and restaurants, but the streets are hilly getting there and back! We rented a car which was great for quick trips to the store (WM and Sam's). Highly recommend whale watching if you're there for the season and dune buggy riding. We had a blast those two days. We all enjoyed our stay in Cabo and will definitely visit again."

Baja California Sur Travel Tips

Family Fun at Baja California Sur Vacation Rentals

Baja California Sur is a great family destination. The vacation homes available vary in size and some can accommodate up to 16 people. This means that you can enjoy a vacation with your siblings and their extended families, and have a whale of a time enjoying the beaches and other activities together. There are a number of well-known resort towns along the coast and many vacation rentals available in each town. Some of the more well-known vacation areas include Todos Santos, San Jose Del Cabo, Tortuga, La Paz, and La Ribera. Favorite activities include fishing and golf, although there are plenty of other activities to keep the kids occupied. The beaches are great for building sandcastles, although the sea can sometimes be a bit too rough for swimming. Many of the vacation homes have swimming pools where you can cool off from the Mexican heat.

Seasons to Visit Baja California Sur Beach Houses

Baja California Sur enjoys a year-round hot climate. For some people, the summer months of June through August may be a bit too extreme but still many families come to enjoy their vacations during this time of year. Possibly the better time to visit is December through April when the weather is slightly milder and temperatures aren’t quite as hot. You can still enjoy warm sunshine each day and if the evenings get a bit chilly, you can always light up the fireplace to keep warm.

Luxury and Comfort at Baja California Sur Resorts

You can enjoy sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez from the bedroom of your vacation villa. Wake up each morning with the sea peaking over the water and glistening in the early dawn. Large shaded decks provide the ideal place to enjoy meals and socialize with family and friends. Take a batch of your favorite books and enjoy reading in a hammock while the warm breeze blows overhead. If you enjoy watching the waves, you may be fortunate to spot whales, dolphins or rays playing in the waves below. You will find that most villas are extremely spacious with multiple dining and living areas suitable for groups vacationing together. Modern and well-equipped kitchens make holiday catering easy. Some villas offer the services of a cook or house manager who will take care of groceries and preparing meals upon request. Bedrooms have ceiling fans or air conditioners to provide respite from the heat. This means that you are able to enjoy the warm climate without feeling discomfort.

Things to See and Do near Baja California Sur Vacation Rentals

One of the favorite activities on the Baja California Sur peninsula is fishing. Often, you can fish from the beach right outside your vacation home which negates the need to get in your car and travel anywhere. If you would like to head out and try to catch some of the big game fish such as marlin, tuna, dorado or wahoo then it’s best to join a fishing charter. The boats go out daily from the local marinas and are crewed by professional skippers that know where to find the fish. Be sure to take a wide-brimmed hat and loads of sunscreen, otherwise you may come back looking like a lobster yourself. There are several luxury health spas in the region where you can enjoy some pampering treatments and beauty therapy. This is an ideal way to spend your day when your spouse heads to one of the top-quality golf courses in the area.
