  • First Class All the Way!

"From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Hugo, to the day we left, everything about our experience at this Condo was first class! Hugo greeted us with a smile, a amazing tour of the property and Condo and his world class gaucamole! The condo was immaculate! Beautifully decorated and stocked (i.e. towels, extra blankets, paper towels, dish AND bathroom soap) very much like a resort suite! We were instantly impressed! It's a quick little walk to the beach and only a $8 ride to the Marina (heart of downtown). As it's a penthouse condo the rooftop is like a palace with amazing sunset views and your very own private hot tub and lounge couches! Hugo has the hook up to EVERYTHING! He is a FULL service concierge, booking us in-room private massages with the best Masur we've ever experienced, scheduling a day for us at sea sports fishing, pretty much making himself available for any questions, suggestions or booking of activities practically 24/7! When we reached out to Pam for a concern of ours, via email, she got back to us immediately! This couple, along with Hugo, make it VERY obvious that we aren't just guests paying a week in their home. ...we are VIP, even Family, and deserve the best experience possible. I am a resort goer, staying usually at presidential suites at five star hotels and was skeptical as to trying to rent through a private party for the first time. I had the "you never really know what you'll truly get" attitude. Well....if this was a "gamble" then we hit the jackpot!! It was such a wonderful experience! I couldn't find a single complaint if I tried! Not only will we be back, this will be a BIG recommendation to our friends and family as a wonderful place to stay if you are seeking out a more private less resort style experience but still with the amenities of a resort, like concierge services. Five stars all the way! We'll be back!"

  • Fantastic Property with great service and views!!

"My wife and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary at the Terrasol Penthouse with 4 of our closest friends, we could have not asked for a better location. It was close to the marina, shops and other activities. The house was amazing. The deck provided excellent views of the ocean and was a great place to hang out and socialize. Craig was excellent to work with and was responsive to all our questions. Carlos was amazing, he helped us coordinate transportation and great activities. He even helped get discounted packages to many great sunset cruises and snorkeling activities. You can't go wrong with this property. Can't wait for our next trip to Cabo!!"

  • Beautiful Getaway

"We recently returned from a week-long vacation at the Cabo Pulmo Eco Palapas and had a fantastic time. We traveled with some close friends and stayed in the Eagle’s Nest unit, which gave us enough room and privacy to enjoy ourselves (we’ve taken many trips together so it’s all relative). The vantage point from the unit really can’t be beat - you have unspoiled views in all directions without another home in sight. The Eagles Nest unit takes full advantage of it’s location with huge windows covering the walls - it’s really breathtaking seeing the ocean and beach in the front and the desert and mountains in the back no matter where you are standing. The unit was simple, but had everything we needed to be comfortable. We cooked most of our meals there. When we went out for food, we kept going back to La Palapa (about a 10 minute drive to Cabo Pulmo main town) because it’s right on the beach and the food was really tasty and fresh. Good seafood! Staying here, you are just above the beach and it takes about a minute to walk down… if you’re looking for complete privacy and serenity, this is the place. We spent a lot of time on the beach and only saw one other person walking his dog the whole time we were there. There is an awesome cove toward the north end of the beach that has calm waters for swimming and some pretty awesome rock formations. If you go out there during low tide you can walk pretty far along the rocks without having to scale them, though that’s fun too. It’s a great place to take some food and drinks and hang out for the day. One day we took the kayak over which was a lot of fun. There is supposed to be some good snorkeling right off the beach but we ended up saving our snorkeling for places like Los Arbolitos (which you have to check out!). Bill was an awesome host and was super accommodating and excited to help us make the most of our vacation. Any question we had of him - of which there were many - he was enthusiastic to give us advice or directions. He pointed us to the best snorkeling, suggested we visit a hot springs (this place was a true oasis in the desert, about an hour from CPEP but well worth the drive), and even scheduled massages for us on our last day. We also enjoyed having his dog, Bay, around who was really friendly/well-mannered and would sometimes follow us and play on the beach. Overall, Bill really helped make our vacation memorable and hassle-free. For the price and excellent location, can't be beat!!!"

  • Wonderful Hosts

"Christine and Kevin were amazing hosts....from Kevin's gracious welcoming to Christine's incredible gourmet breakfasts. Both had an in-depth knowledge of the area, things to do and places to eat. (We had way to many options for the 2 days that we were there). We'll definitely be back to check out there new listing in the beautiful old part of town."

Baja California Sur Travel Tips

Family Fun at Baja California Sur Vacation Rentals

Baja California Sur is a great family destination. The vacation homes available vary in size and some can accommodate up to 16 people. This means that you can enjoy a vacation with your siblings and their extended families, and have a whale of a time enjoying the beaches and other activities together. There are a number of well-known resort towns along the coast and many vacation rentals available in each town. Some of the more well-known vacation areas include Todos Santos, San Jose Del Cabo, Tortuga, La Paz, and La Ribera. Favorite activities include fishing and golf, although there are plenty of other activities to keep the kids occupied. The beaches are great for building sandcastles, although the sea can sometimes be a bit too rough for swimming. Many of the vacation homes have swimming pools where you can cool off from the Mexican heat.

Seasons to Visit Baja California Sur Beach Houses

Baja California Sur enjoys a year-round hot climate. For some people, the summer months of June through August may be a bit too extreme but still many families come to enjoy their vacations during this time of year. Possibly the better time to visit is December through April when the weather is slightly milder and temperatures aren’t quite as hot. You can still enjoy warm sunshine each day and if the evenings get a bit chilly, you can always light up the fireplace to keep warm.

Luxury and Comfort at Baja California Sur Resorts

You can enjoy sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez from the bedroom of your vacation villa. Wake up each morning with the sea peaking over the water and glistening in the early dawn. Large shaded decks provide the ideal place to enjoy meals and socialize with family and friends. Take a batch of your favorite books and enjoy reading in a hammock while the warm breeze blows overhead. If you enjoy watching the waves, you may be fortunate to spot whales, dolphins or rays playing in the waves below. You will find that most villas are extremely spacious with multiple dining and living areas suitable for groups vacationing together. Modern and well-equipped kitchens make holiday catering easy. Some villas offer the services of a cook or house manager who will take care of groceries and preparing meals upon request. Bedrooms have ceiling fans or air conditioners to provide respite from the heat. This means that you are able to enjoy the warm climate without feeling discomfort.

Things to See and Do near Baja California Sur Vacation Rentals

One of the favorite activities on the Baja California Sur peninsula is fishing. Often, you can fish from the beach right outside your vacation home which negates the need to get in your car and travel anywhere. If you would like to head out and try to catch some of the big game fish such as marlin, tuna, dorado or wahoo then it’s best to join a fishing charter. The boats go out daily from the local marinas and are crewed by professional skippers that know where to find the fish. Be sure to take a wide-brimmed hat and loads of sunscreen, otherwise you may come back looking like a lobster yourself. There are several luxury health spas in the region where you can enjoy some pampering treatments and beauty therapy. This is an ideal way to spend your day when your spouse heads to one of the top-quality golf courses in the area.
