"Our family loved the house. It was so cute and cozy. The view from the rooftop was fabulous. I even loved using the laundry room up there :) The beds and furnishings were all excellent quality. The house is located just on the edge of town - with a totally doable walk, even for our young kids - and a bit out of center of town noise. There is a stretch of stairs (maybe 5 or so) that are open on one side. Our 3.5 year old was fine on them, but it might need some consideration for younger ones."

"We already spent in this lovely house three weekends and we are always looking forward to spend some time more there. The house itself is really nice, comfortable and offering everything you need for your stay but honestly it does not matter because most of the time you will spend on the terrace that offers an amazing view to a city itself and it is something you can keep enjoying whole day and a little bit more. And as on the there is also a grill, you can make your stay longer until late night and still enjoying the view... another advantage is that from this house it takes you around 20 minutes walk and you are directly below in the center of the city. For those not walkers you can use a taxi, bus or funicular but the walk through those small streets is worth it. Also great thanks belongs to Cristobal who is something like a walking book of knowledge about what to see and visit not only in Guanajuato but also in the area around the city and always is ready to help you in case of anything... So, I will just repeat myself but we have really always enjoyed the stay and for this we would like to thank a lot to all involved"

"This is a beautiful home. Four of us shared the space and never felt crowded. The bedrooms are distanced from one another. The rooftop deck provided a lovely outside area with a shaded viewpoint and a lovely cool breeze. It is an easy walk to cafes, cabs and the main plaza. We only stayed 5 nights, but we managed to add a one hour bus ride to and from San Miguel de Allende.
Although San Miguel was beautiful, we were happy that we stayed in Guanajuato. It's a very vibrant and youthful city. The Diego Rivera Museum was a wonderful surprise and was a nice counterpoint to our recent visit to Frieda's Casa Azul in Mexico City. The little shops near the museum were also lovely. I don't really know how to describe the mummies other than to say you should definitely see them. The bus ride to and from was colorful and entertaining. A little Spanish is helpful."

"Lovely little university town with ample possibilities of learning or brushing up ones knowledge of the Spanish Language.
the Casa del Limon is a real , comfortable, beautifully furnished home with a typical Mexican interior offering all comfort one can wish for.Although right in the centre of Guanajoato it is quiet, with a superb roof terrace on which we had breakfast nearly every day, sometimes wearing a jacket over our pyjamas as the nights can get cold in Wintertime. As no houses do have heating we would dive into the king size bed with plenty of blankets and a good book. The town offering lots of culture that was not too often.Would love to go back Valentina"
