"I enjoyed my stay in Guanajuato. I was there to study Spanish and to do some sightseeing. I felt very secure as a single female traveling alone. The neighborhood was quiet. The apartment was comfortable and I used the patio some days to eat and study. The apartment was up a slight incline so I recommend it to people in shape or those who don't mind taking a taxi. Taxi's are not expensive and there is a bus stop right at the bottom of the hill. Buses are 5 pesos. The apartment was clean, well maintained and the kitchen window overlooked a small garden. Don and Gela were very nice and helpful. I would rent the apartment again should I return to Guanajuato. In the winter it is cold at night and I recommend bringing warm clothes."

"Our family loved the house. It was so cute and cozy. The view from the rooftop was fabulous. I even loved using the laundry room up there :) The beds and furnishings were all excellent quality. The house is located just on the edge of town - with a totally doable walk, even for our young kids - and a bit out of center of town noise. There is a stretch of stairs (maybe 5 or so) that are open on one side. Our 3.5 year old was fine on them, but it might need some consideration for younger ones."

"As other reviewers have mentioned , Location was great, but was noisy at night for the 2 front bedrooms. earplugs and closing the inner heavy wooden panels behind the front windows wasn't sufficient to muffle the street noise. This may be okay for you if you currently live in a noisy inner city situation. Propane gas ran out and ground floor toilet stopped working. house manager came promptly to fix. We did appreciate having 3 separate bathrooms for a group of 7. mattresses on bed were comfy. living room and dining room furniture in good condition. TV worked well. Internet speed was fine."

"We already spent in this lovely house three weekends and we are always looking forward to spend some time more there. The house itself is really nice, comfortable and offering everything you need for your stay but honestly it does not matter because most of the time you will spend on the terrace that offers an amazing view to a city itself and it is something you can keep enjoying whole day and a little bit more. And as on the there is also a grill, you can make your stay longer until late night and still enjoying the view... another advantage is that from this house it takes you around 20 minutes walk and you are directly below in the center of the city. For those not walkers you can use a taxi, bus or funicular but the walk through those small streets is worth it. Also great thanks belongs to Cristobal who is something like a walking book of knowledge about what to see and visit not only in Guanajuato but also in the area around the city and always is ready to help you in case of anything... So, I will just repeat myself but we have really always enjoyed the stay and for this we would like to thank a lot to all involved"
