"We had only a short stay in Guanajuato, but this was a great place to spend it. Don & Gela were helpful and a wealth of information. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The city itself is quirky and fun. Lots to see and do, easy access to public transportation. I highly recommend this city and this casita."

"This is a beautiful home. Four of us shared the space and never felt crowded. The bedrooms are distanced from one another. The rooftop deck provided a lovely outside area with a shaded viewpoint and a lovely cool breeze. It is an easy walk to cafes, cabs and the main plaza. We only stayed 5 nights, but we managed to add a one hour bus ride to and from San Miguel de Allende.
Although San Miguel was beautiful, we were happy that we stayed in Guanajuato. It's a very vibrant and youthful city. The Diego Rivera Museum was a wonderful surprise and was a nice counterpoint to our recent visit to Frieda's Casa Azul in Mexico City. The little shops near the museum were also lovely. I don't really know how to describe the mummies other than to say you should definitely see them. The bus ride to and from was colorful and entertaining. A little Spanish is helpful."

"We already spent in this lovely house three weekends and we are always looking forward to spend some time more there. The house itself is really nice, comfortable and offering everything you need for your stay but honestly it does not matter because most of the time you will spend on the terrace that offers an amazing view to a city itself and it is something you can keep enjoying whole day and a little bit more. And as on the there is also a grill, you can make your stay longer until late night and still enjoying the view... another advantage is that from this house it takes you around 20 minutes walk and you are directly below in the center of the city. For those not walkers you can use a taxi, bus or funicular but the walk through those small streets is worth it. Also great thanks belongs to Cristobal who is something like a walking book of knowledge about what to see and visit not only in Guanajuato but also in the area around the city and always is ready to help you in case of anything... So, I will just repeat myself but we have really always enjoyed the stay and for this we would like to thank a lot to all involved"

"This house was ideal for our vacation needs. We are four female friends in our seventies who wanted a place in Guanajuato that is right in the center of town and that has enough bedrooms for four separate snorers. That's what we got, a perfect location close to museums, shops, restaurants, and a house with three bedrooms and a pullout couch in a reading area upstairs that is extremely comfortable. The house is furnished with everything anyone could need and is also decorated beautifully with lots of ceramics and lovely copper and silver light fixtures. We spent lots of time on the roof deck. There is no parking and you really don't need or want a car in Guanajuato. There is some noise in the neighborhood, but that is because Guanajuato is a lovely, lively place. The owner and local manager were very prompt in responding to questions and needs. I would recommend this house highly."
