"Our family loved the house. It was so cute and cozy. The view from the rooftop was fabulous. I even loved using the laundry room up there :) The beds and furnishings were all excellent quality. The house is located just on the edge of town - with a totally doable walk, even for our young kids - and a bit out of center of town noise. There is a stretch of stairs (maybe 5 or so) that are open on one side. Our 3.5 year old was fine on them, but it might need some consideration for younger ones."

"We had only a short stay in Guanajuato, but this was a great place to spend it. Don & Gela were helpful and a wealth of information. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The city itself is quirky and fun. Lots to see and do, easy access to public transportation. I highly recommend this city and this casita."

"Marie and Dean, who live next door, are both charming hosts. They went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay in this comfortable and light apartment. We appreciated the full notes of what to do, where to eat etc and loved the apartment's proximity to the centre of the town. The view from the roof is extraordinary - you couldn't be anywhere else but Mexico. A perfect spot to unwind.
By the way most of the sights of Guanajuato are on the flat. But reaching this apartment requires a short, 2 block climb including some 15 or so steps along pedestrian only streets. It's s bit of a drag up with your luggage but that only happens the once!"

"We stayed at Casa Chan for a week in July and we had a wonderful stay! The house is just what we needed, we rented both house and apartment. The house is equipped with everything you may need during your stay and is very comfortable, the views from the master bedroom terrace are amazing! We felt very safe in the house and around town. The deposit is large compared to other rentals, but was returned very very quickly which was nice. Communication with the owner and property manager was excellent, they quickly answered any questions we had. Be prepared for the climb up to the house, which is in one of the many callejones (alleys) in the city, it's good exercise!"
