  • Great views, wonderful city.

"Casa Rosa is dramaticaly situated and offers from every room in the house magnificent views of Guanjuato, a spectacular and effervescent city. We greatly appreciated our month in the house, the help and attention of the house manager, the visits of one the local cats who we adopted, the proximity of the city center, the beauty of the city scape. Climbing to the house is a demanding exercise but gets one rapidly into shape."

  • Comfortable Home

"Case Verde is a comfortable vacation option for 6 people with the biggest plus being the proximity to the center of the action of the Jardin, theaters and plazas with their many shopping and restaurants options. Having a BBQ grill up on the terrace was awesome along with the City views, -but please be aware of the steep and difficult climb to the main entrance -steps are very uneven and of different heights-. For our family to have a TV in the entertainment room would have made it a perfect vacation home -the world series was on when we were there and many of the sports bars in the area were filled with cigarette smoke- as well as small touches such as comfortable towels, a new shower liner and enough usable pots and pans to cook. Yes, James, the property manager, was very helpful in getting us a non-stick egg pan, usable cooking pans and enough glasses/cups for 6 people; he also quickly replaced the gas tank when on our third day the gas was running low so thanks to him the rest of our stay was more comfortable."

  • Sweet little casita

"My husband and I stayed for a month in this little casita in the garden of Don and Gela. Don and Gela were very gracious and helpful hosts. Gela and I discovered a shared passion for Frida Kahlo and she trustingly loaned me her wonderful collection of Frida books. Not having been to Guanajuato in this season before, Bob found the evenings very cold and Don graciously rounded him up a poncho and an electric heater. The house does get very cold and a heater was very much appreciated. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen modern and well equipped and the garden lovely. The apartment is tiny but has everything you need, including proximity to the hosts but as much privacy as you need. It is about a five minute easy climb up the lovely Calle San Juan de Dios (cars can drive right up to the door) and a short climb up into the stunning mountainsides overlooking the city. For me, it was a comfortably paced 25 minute walk into the centre of the city and buses pass frequently on the street below. La Presa, to me, is the loveliest part of the city and feels very safe and tranquil. I would definitely recommend this little house to a couple or single traveller"

  • Excellent house

"When I decided to rent casa del limon I was in a hurry and had my reserves. I wanted a safe property very close to el jardin de la union and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! The pictures on VRBO are good but nowhere near as beautiful as the property. The different sections of the terraza are and the views are breathtaking. I invited my friends over for a get together and they were all asking how I found the property...honestly, I wanted to be a little selfish because I want this house when I go back. Another review talks about the outdoor restroom as a drawback, I look at it as an adventure and part of the charm of such a gorgeous property. Let me just say a month was not enough to enjoy this beauty. If you are familiar with Guanajuato you will appreciate the how close it is to el jardin de la union and that it is only a few stairs uphill to get to the house. The kitchen is fully equipped! There were a couple of things but it has to do more with management than with the property is that there was no drinking water when I arrived and I was not informed of where to place the trash, but these small issues were not enough to take away a full star."

Guanajuato City Travel Tips

Guanajuato Vacation Rentals Go beyond the Ordinary

Guanajuato travel offers visitors traveling to Mexico a unique look into the mystique and vibrant culture that surrounds this beautiful country. If you are looking for a vacation destination that is decidedly different from the everyday then you need look no further than Guanajuato vacation rentals. Given the wealth of options for Guanajuato lodging, you can easily find a vacation rental that will have you feeling right at home. Whether you plan to stay for just a couple of days or longer, all of your needs will be met.

Guanajuato Vacation Rentals Are Where You Can Treat Yourself to Luxury

Guanajuato vacation rentals are typically self-sufficient. Unlike hotel-like Guanajuato lodging options, you do not have to sacrifice the comforts of home. Enjoy full kitchens, expansive living areas and sleeping arrangements that can accommodate everyone in your Guanajuato travel party. Treating yourself to a luxury rental is more than just a vacation; it is a getaway in paradise.

Guanajuato Travel for Something Decidedly Different

After you have had a chance to settle into your vacation rental and rested up a bit from your Guanjuato travel, it will definitely be time to explore some of the local area. While there are numerous sights to see in the local area, one of the most unique is Museo de Los Momias, or the Mummy Museum. The museum contains a variety of bodies that were exhumed over a period between 1865 and 1985 in order to make space in the limited cemeteries for the newly departed. The Museo del Pueblo de Guanjuato is also located near Guanajuato lodging.

Guanajuato Lodging in the Midst of All the Excitement

Guanajuato vacation rentals are also conveniently located near a variety of other local and cultural attractions, including numerous churches boasting spectacular architecture. After a day of exploring the local area, you will be ready for a bite to eat. If you feel like staying in, your vacation rental will provide you with all the needed facilities for preparing a light snack or full meal. If you prefer, you might also wish to venture out and try one of the local restaurants as well.
