Very Nice Home, Where you want to be
"Location is everything. And this is exactly where you want to be to explore and enjoy Guanajuato. You really can't get closer. Yes, it can be a little loud. A little. If you want peace and quiet for your 9pm bedtime, you'd be better looking for an all-inclusive Caribbean resort. The downstairs is a little dark. A little. If you want a place in the heart of an historic Mexican city, its going to be. Its the way they are built. Did I mention that the location is ridiculously close to everything? Most things you want are 2-10 minutes away.
The home itself is quite nice. A traditional home, tastefully updated with high quality components and great furniture. Lots of windows for cross-ventilation. The views from the rooftop deck are amazing.
We had a few glitches with the property manager who was subbing for the full-time management who were out of town. If you've traveled in Mexico, you know this happens. And it is all about how glitches get handled. I'd be very confident to stay here again."

"Lovely little university town with ample possibilities of learning or brushing up ones knowledge of the Spanish Language.
the Casa del Limon is a real , comfortable, beautifully furnished home with a typical Mexican interior offering all comfort one can wish for.Although right in the centre of Guanajoato it is quiet, with a superb roof terrace on which we had breakfast nearly every day, sometimes wearing a jacket over our pyjamas as the nights can get cold in Wintertime. As no houses do have heating we would dive into the king size bed with plenty of blankets and a good book. The town offering lots of culture that was not too often.Would love to go back Valentina"

"My wife and I just returned from a wonderful week in Guanajuato. Thanks to Gerardo's beautiful apartment we spent a magical week exploring this beautiful city. The walk from the apartment to town via Temescuitate was something we enjoyed immensely and were able to accomplish at our age without problems (wife=69; me=71) Gerardo's apartment complex is very secure and very quiet. We visited the city during a very festive Christmas/New Year's season, yet we never were bothered by the noise of the celebrations taking place. We look forward to returning some day and definitely recommend this clean and quiet location."

"Don and Gela were amazing hosts! The house looks just like the photos. It is nice and clean, surrounded by green.
Gela gave us homemade butter, honey and pancakes. What else can I say? It filled our hearts with joy!
Guanajuato is an amazing city, full of color and history. The house is located on the top of a hill. We could see that it could be an inconvenience for those who don't like or cannot walk that much. A cab can fix that issue anyway.
I would definitely recommend this apartment and Guanajuato to anyone. The food is delicious, weather is perfect and the people make the best of it.
We know we will be back and when it happens it will be to La Casa Rosa."
