"My husband and I, along with two other couples, had the privilege of renting this lovely home during the month of February, 2015. The house is beautifully decorated and pleasing to the eye from all angles. There is a lot of light due to large windows and doors, several leading to beautiful terraces and patios. Most of these have views of San Miguel, the center of which is only a 10 minute walk away! The 3 large master bedrooms, each with a full bath, made the house very well-suited for 3 couples, however, it would be good for families as well. As described, there is one big hill to climb to reach the house from the center, but we all got used to it, and actually enjoyed the exercise. The view and accommodations were so worth it! There are two staff people who work at the house. First is Margarita who is a warm, welcoming hostess who is eager to improve her English, but at the same time, is a very patient teacher of Spanish. She is an incredible cook, and will give you a list of her favorite dishes to prepare. We gave her money for food for some special meals, then enjoyed the delicious aromas, tastes and presentation. Cruz is a gardener extraordinaire. He comes daily for several hours to tend to the dozens of potted flowers and plants that adorn the terraces. He is a gentle soul with a very green thumb. SMA is a lovely town, and staying in this house was the perfect complement to our stay there."

"My husband and I went to San Miguel de Allende for a week away from home. There is much to love in this inn. The owners are fun to talk with and the staff is the best. Magali even gave me a Mexican cooking lesson. It is more of a residence than a hotel, so think accordingly. Bring a bit of soap, shampoo and coffee. Then go visit the wonderful nearby stores for supplies. There is a joke that you say you are here for a week or so, but the joke is "That's what you think!" You really don't want to go home. The location is very central to El Jardin. With lots of restaurants and, of course, shopping! Walking around town is lovely and the people are really nice."

"Really Nice! Clean, well kept, no issues. FANTASTIC views from decks and Master Suite. Teenage son especially liked the separate bedroom. Manager and staff very helpful. Don't miss having the housekeeper make breakfast-she can COOK! Would definitely go again!"

"We had a great stay at this house for a girls birthday trip! The house was spacious, staff attentive to all requests and in a perfect location!
Upon a late arrival, we were greeted with margaritas and guacamole and cut up veggies and fruit. ( our request) Breakfast was wonderful each day- prepared to our request.
There was some deferred maintenance and wifi limited to 2 rooms in the house. It would have been nice to have the pool heated.
Location was very close to all activities and restaurants! It was a great stay and we recommend it highly!"
