  • Perfect in every way!

"This beautiful house was everything we had hoped for and more. We were celebrating my 80th birthday with my daughters my godson and his wife. The house was so comfortable and gave each of us all of the privacy and comfort anyone could ever ask for. The house is decorated perfectly, each of the patios and decks is more gorgeous than the other, and we really will plan on coming back. Thanks to everyone who made this celebration so perfect. • Lovely suite

"Beautiful suite located blocks away from downtown in one side and Parque Juarez to the other side. Very close to downtown action and does get recurrent traffic that is audible in bedroom. It has anything you could want for a short to mid term stay, including a beautiful roof terrace."

  • estancia excepcional

"Our stay at Casa Pina was a wonderful experience! We were so pleased with the attention that staff members Theresa, and Guadalupe gave us throughout our stay - wonderful breakfasts, attention to gluten-free requests, delicious guacamole on the spur of the moment and well-maintained living spaces. And, thanks to owner Aleida for being available and making sense of our requests throughout our stay. We all appreciated her excellent restaurant and shopping recommendations. The authentic Mexican property worked beautifully for our needs. We loved spending time together in the outdoor living room and beautifully maintained interior gardens. And, each of us enjoyed the privacy of our personal living spaces. Proximity to the Jardin and Parroquia was another major plus since our party included a couple of ”not so mobile” guests. And, a special early morning treat was the view of the Jardin and the ever-present hot air balloon (at 7:15 am) from the Casa Pina rooftop! We are looking forward to our next visit."

  • A great family vacation!

"First of all, I agree with everything that has previously been nicely said! My experience at Casa Carole was shared with 2 sisters, my brother, and their spouses - 7 total! We had long anticipated a family vacation where we could all be comfortable together. Casa Carole was the perfect solution! It is truely beautiful down to the smallest detail of which there are many! We are all photographers and we kept getting out the camera time and again to record a new find. We were there for Easter Week which offers one spectacle, somber or celebratory, after another, all very colorful and intriguing. We spent most of our time in San Miguel, but we did have our driver for a day trip to Dolores HildGo, the gallery and church in Antotilaco (sp?), the beautiful winery, and la great unch at the beautiful restaurant Nirvana. I highly recommend the same. The food is outstanding, whether prepared by Rosa, or at a restaurant. We particularly enjoyed La Parada and The Restaurant on Thursday night, and puchasing "goodies" from The Petit Four to have for dessert at home. We thouroughly enjoyed a cooking class at Sazon which included a fun and informative tour of the market where we tasted many different items that were explained by the chefs and where we purchased the ingredients for our delicious meal. I highly reccomend the Mask Museum - fascinating! The one caveat I have to offer is for those who are in any way disabled or have difficulty walking, for whatever reason. The hills are steep and, for the most part, the streets are cobblestone. The situation is easily resolved by using taxis. They are readily available at any location and it costs about $3.00 to go anywhere in the city! Do go.enjoy the beauty of Casa Carole, the intriguing town of San Miguel, and enjoy!"
