  • Perfect, but noisy location

"We stayed the month of January 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Both the owner, and her office manager were attentive and helpful. I chose the title at heading because it reflects my views that this property is ideally located about midway between Parque Juarez and La parroquia. The property itself (beds, etc) is very comfortable, and adequately furnished. When I booked last year one of the reviews addressed the noise suggesting it would be easy to soundproof the efficiency, but the owner did not follow thru. Unfortunately this property is on a busy corner where trucks have trouble making the turn, before spinning tires heading up the steep incline. With soundproofing I will rent next year again, if available, due to the perfect location."

  • Beautiful home in great location

"We came into town for a wedding and stayed at Casa Florida for the weekend. The experience was amazing. Each of the three rooms were on separate floors with private bathrooms. Other special amenities included a roof deck (the deck was a little run down), nice dining area and kitchen, sound system throughout the home and overall a beautiful property. The location is very close to city center, restaurants, shops, etc. The breakfast every morning was such a nice touch. Wonderful experience and would stay there again in a second!"

  • Lovely Apartment

"My husband and I were returning to San Miguel for our 30th Anniversary after a hiatus of 25 years. We were excited to see the changes and get re-acquainted with a charming city we had very fond memories of. Unfortunately, we got very sick in Cuernevaca and got to SM in pretty bad shape. Abraham met us at the house and was very nice. We spent the next 8 days forcing ourselves to go out once a day for provisions, but we were very compromised. Thank goodness for this lovely apartment. Comfy bed, a TV when we had no energy to get off the couch...the occasional trip to the roof for a little sunshine and the beautiful view. Located a few steps outside the Centro demarcation, it was fairly easy to get wherever we needed to go. The cobblestone streets can be steep in San Miguel, so we mostly cabbed home for between $2-$3 a trip. If we hadn't been staying in such a well-equipped apartment, I'm not sure what we would have done. We used the kitchen mostly to make tea, chicken broth, and toast. Thanks for help getting us through."
