  • A Lovely Condo in San Miguel's Central District

"We spent two-weeks in this clean, modern condo. Highlights include newer kitchen appliances that are in good working order, plenty of hot water for an unrushed shower, and a washer and dryer so you can do your own laundry. Other very positive features of the condo include its close proximity to the center of town and a propane stove that enables guests to take off the early morning chill. It would be a pleasure for my wife and me to stay at this property again in the future!"

  • Great get-away in San Miguel

"A group of adults (siblings and their spouses) spent two weeks at Casa Madelan in January 2015. This was our first visit to San Miguel and we were delighted. It was warm and sunny during the day, though cooler at night. I agree with all the comments of others about Casa Madeleine. It is a lovely house, very comfortable, and quickly comes to feel like "home". We particularly enjoyed lounging on the second level terrace in the afternoons -- it is the perfect place for reading or napping! We typically cooked breakfast at the house and had dinner at home several times. The kitchen is large and very functional, and the large dining room is very pleasant. Casa Madelan is very well located. It is away from the Jardin and busier parts of San Miguel but close enough for easy walking everywhere. The house is about two blocks from the fruit and vegetable market and the associated meat and chicken butchers -- great fresh produce and meat! It is an easy, flat walk from the house to the Jardin and the other principal sights of San Miguel. The property manager, Erika, is extremely pleasant and helpful. Besides helping with questions about the house, Erika helped arrange several tours for us to nearby historic sights. It is also very pleasant to communicate with the property owner, Alan, who is prompt in responding to any questions."

  • Great Stay

"The house was very well located for us; we had easy access to the Instituto, MEGA, Dolores, and Queretaro. We had a rental car and we were very happy with the off-street parking and the secure doors. The kitchen was beautiful; the stairwell to the terrace was excellent (we are over 70 years old). We welcomed the gas heater in the bedroom – it helped at night since we were there in January. We enjoyed our bedroom, with the glass shower: The water was warm and comfortable. We enjoyed the terrace very much; the sunset views were great. We also saw an aircraft flyover from there. The garden was easily the best maintained that we have seen in San Miguel (we have rented there many times). Beatriz and Miguel were very courteous and helpful. Every time we left in the car, Miguel was there to open the door and direct us onto Cuesta de San Jose, which can get quite busy at times. The manager responded very promptly to our requests."
