"My husband and I were returning to San Miguel for our 30th Anniversary after a hiatus of 25 years. We were excited to see the changes and get re-acquainted with a charming city we had very fond memories of. Unfortunately, we got very sick in Cuernevaca and got to SM in pretty bad shape. Abraham met us at the house and was very nice. We spent the next 8 days forcing ourselves to go out once a day for provisions, but we were very compromised.
Thank goodness for this lovely apartment. Comfy bed, a TV when we had no energy to get off the couch...the occasional trip to the roof for a little sunshine and the beautiful view. Located a few steps outside the Centro demarcation, it was fairly easy to get wherever we needed to go. The cobblestone streets can be steep in San Miguel, so we mostly cabbed home for between $2-$3 a trip. If we hadn't been staying in such a well-equipped apartment, I'm not sure what we would have done. We used the kitchen mostly to make tea, chicken broth, and toast. Thanks for help getting us through."

"This apartment is ideal for one or two people that want to stay close to the Jardin but still want a quiet place.
A kitchen, living room and dining room, bathroom with shower with hot water, bed room, patio and roof access.
Purified water in the tap. It was a little dark, no natural sunlight but otherwise it was great. I recommend it. Lyn was great to work with, very attentive and responsive."

"First of all, if you have selected SMA for a vacation, you can't go wrong. It is a lovely city with great restaurants, interesting art and a huge range of activities to keep you entertained. The house itself is in a great location - no more than a 5 minute walk to the main market, and perhaps another 5 more minutes to the Jardin. As well, its location up a hill provides fantastic views from the roof top deck. The house is great - lovely deck, beautiful boveda ceilings, courtyards, well equipped kitchen, super comfy beds, nice linens......basically everything you could want. Some of the decorations in the house were a bit "heavy" for our taste (I realize this is entirely a personal thing). The house does, however, need a thorough cleaning as we found many cob webs and dust bunnies - including one in the kitchen that grew daily and was riddled with bugs by the end of our stay - hardy a big deal, but I suspect the housekeeper is more concerned with making the beds than scrubbing. As well, the main gate at the street locks (and thus the house was secure), but the lock for the housekeeper's entrance was never locked during our stay, and the door into the kitchen from the housekeeper's area was broken, so basically the house never locked. This didn't really worry us, but it does need to be addressed. In addition, I feel that damage deposits should be returned as promptly as possible - preferably in cash on the day of departure - as this has been our experience with virtually every other VRBO and/or international rental we have made."
