  • Perfect for us

"My wife and I spent a wonderful week here in San Miguel. The home was beautiful. Spotless. (Bed could have been a little softer.) Great patios. Lovely house keeper. Cooked us a nice lunch. Photos are an accurate representation of the property. Could never figure out the telephone there, always got a bad number, but our house keeper could. So some instructions would be helpful. Otherwise, this couldn't be beat. Loved walking in the neighborhood. Close to everything. Best sunset was had at the Rosewood Hotel, 10 minutes away. Great tapas and drinks there, too. The Grotto Italian restaurant, right up the street, was great, 5 minute walk. Best margarita at Posadita...very attentive wait staff. Super food at The Restaurant. (All bedrooms are up stairs, so not good for persons with difficulty with stairs.) Would highly recommend this beautiful home."

  • Wonderful, Magical San Miguel Stay

"This was my first visit to San Miguel, but certainty not my last and I will most definitely stay at this apartment again. The apartment was the perfect compliment to the magical town of San Miguel. The location could not be better. Everything you want to do; eat, shop, sight see and take in the fantastic culture that defines the magic of San Miguel is just a few blocks from the front door of the apartment. The apartment itself is more than adequately equipped with all the comforts you would need in a home away from home. The two bedrooms were perfect for our group of four, and having two bathrooms was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. The apartment was always a comfortable retreat after a day or evening out and about. The owners went above and beyond to ensure our comforts. I highly recommend this apartment for your San Miguel stay"

  • Absolutely charming!

"My college roommate and I spent ten days at Casa Malonga and it suited us beautifully. we were lucky to be there on Palm Sunday when we were able to watch the Procession down San Francisco Calle. ........Jesus on a donkey, the twelve apostles, priests, locals carrying beautiful handwoven palm fronds. The market around the corner was perfect for picking up orange juice, yogurt, cereals, wine, etc. Coffee and croissants at the Instituto Allende Cafe was a handy place to hang out with our iPads and conversations with the locals and expats. We are both artists so we found delightful subjects everywhere to sketch. Casa Malonga is charming with the owner's collection of old Mexican folk art, very clean, great shower and the roof top terrace is a great place for sipping glass of wine before heading out to one of the any restaurants nearby. The 360 degree view of the city dressed in jacaranda purple blooms was a Wonderland! No disappointments on this rental for us!!!!!"
