  • beautiful Guanajuato Apartment

"I stayed in apartment 5 for one month, this July. The space is lovely, well-equipped and has a beautiful view of the city. It is located above a walled in patio filled with wonderful plants, an outdoor grill and tables. There is a convenient washer/dryer. The staff are all delightful and helpful. I was helped out by the staff when sick and this was very valued as I was alone. The walk to town is really beautiful but the walk back up is a bit strenuous. I am a senior, however, and I managed it quite well. Every part of the property is well-maintained and impeccable."

  • A reunion

"Ruth's place is colorful, quiet, spacious, warm and charming. Everything you need is there. Ruth shares her local knowledge of people and places while not being 'pushy'. The hot springs, pyramids and the winery with the natural cave as a cellar were pleasant discoveries. Another plus was the International Film Festival that was held while we were there. Everyone was friendly and we always felt safe. Shopping, eating, galleries, movies, ongoing events in the square - all close by, easily walkable...The light brings out the colors of the natural environment, the buildings and life in San Miguel de Allende."

  • Absolutely charming!

"My college roommate and I spent ten days at Casa Malonga and it suited us beautifully. we were lucky to be there on Palm Sunday when we were able to watch the Procession down San Francisco Calle. ........Jesus on a donkey, the twelve apostles, priests, locals carrying beautiful handwoven palm fronds. The market around the corner was perfect for picking up orange juice, yogurt, cereals, wine, etc. Coffee and croissants at the Instituto Allende Cafe was a handy place to hang out with our iPads and conversations with the locals and expats. We are both artists so we found delightful subjects everywhere to sketch. Casa Malonga is charming with the owner's collection of old Mexican folk art, very clean, great shower and the roof top terrace is a great place for sipping glass of wine before heading out to one of the any restaurants nearby. The 360 degree view of the city dressed in jacaranda purple blooms was a Wonderland! No disappointments on this rental for us!!!!!"

  • Excelent house for big families

"Our staying in Casa Verde was very pleasant, we where 8 adults and 2 kids and the space was more than sufficient, the view is lovely, the utilities and furniture where more than enough, you will not need anything more than groceries. Wifi works perfectly, as well as the kitchen appliances. Even though we were 10 people trying to get ready at the same time, we never run out of hot water. We used the washer and dryer machines and both works perfectly. The only observation is that there are electrical voltage variations (due to city standards or electrical infrastucture) so keep in mind to bring a surge protector in case you are bringing special electronics such as computers, just to be safe. We definetly recommend it and will be our 1st choice on our next visit to Guanajuato."
