  • The Perfect Boho Chic Accomodations!

"My group of friends rented three of the various apartments and were blown away by the beautiful, unique, creative decor that awaited us. I live in Los Angeles and used to be an interior designer, so furnishings and 'little touches' go a long way with me! :) The apartments are filled with Nancy's beautiful artwork and ceramics, and the textiles scattered around (from pillows made from vintage fabrics to throw blankets to wall hangings) were perfection. Each of the apartments felt cozy, warm, creative and inspiring. Our group ate meals on the rooftop deck, played cards indoors, lounged about and read books - it was a beautiful vacation! Also, the location is PRIME. Just a two block walk to our favorite restaurants, and simply walk two blocks in the opposite direction to get to the big park. We would definitely stay here again... And hope to soon!"

  • Wonderful Mexico City Trip

"We stayed at Bruce's place for 7 nights. This place is clean, comfortable, safe and very convenient to everything. This is so much better and cheaper than staying in a hotel. The building's amenities were very good but we didn't get a chance to use them. There are just too many things to do in MC. We would love to come back and I would recommend Bruce's properties to my friends. His customer service is excellent. I brought 2 19 yr. olds and a 21 yr. old college girls.I never felt uncomfortable walking with them everywhere. There are 2 metro stations close by, riding the metro is easy and cheap. Just try to avoid them on rush hour or have a game plan in case you get separated. We bought food from Gloria, Ricon and the bakeries across the street (Independencia Blvd). We find that the cheapest water is from the Bodega on Juarez. Skip the small bottled water, you save so much buying the 10L ones. We cautiously tried as much of the food like Al pastor, suadero, pozzole, the churros and hot chocolate at El Morro. We miss them! Bruce recommended Ricardo for day trips. He's very good and he speaks English. I would also recommend him. He is full of information. If there are 4 of you, let Ricardo drive you rather than use Turibus. There are so many museums to visit and we only had a chance to see 3. The one for popular arts is just a building away. We enjoyed that. Watch the Ballet Folklorico, pay for the cheapest -300 pesos. Right before curtain time, if its not sold out you could be asked to move closer for just a few more pesos. Museums are free on Sundays (wish we have that in Houston) and you might be discouraged from going because it will be crowded. However, we didn't mind the crowd. It was a fun time to people watch, lots of vendors, lots of yummy food to smell and maybe try. We found the people to be very friendly, warm and patient. Trying to speak a few words of Spanish makes a big difference. We know that this is a place we would visit again!"

  • Loved it!

"We recently stayed in Casita Lirio in Cinco Flores. My family of 3 had a wonderful first visit to San Miguel and a wonderful time at Cinco Flores! Casita Lirio was perfect in every way: it was very pretty; it was well maintained, decorated, supplied, and appointed; and it was comfortable, peaceful, and close to the square (the main center of everything). The patio was beautiful. We had such a short walk to the restaurants, shops, and square – it was great! We worked mainly with Robert. He was very prompt, quite helpful, and professional in all of our communications. I can’t think of any ‘extras’ that are needed or desired. We would definitely stay at Cinco Flores again! :)"

  • Our Month in San Miquel

"We arrived for a month long stay not realizing how beautiful and wonderful the villa was just behind the strong wooden doors...we were greeted by gardens that were perfect and a housekeeper and gardener that immediately became part of our family! Beatrix and Miguel compliment the house and took care of our guests and family members visiting during our stay. The furnishings and art are beautiful, and the vistas from the balconies are breath taking! The San Miguel location is perfect for a base if you find you will be visiting other cities in Mexico...we took advantage of our time to truly enjoy the Mexican culture and most delicious the food! We understand Jan and Terry are replacing the kitchen and it was functional will now be outstanding!"

Getting to Central Mexico Vacation Houses

The main access point to the central region of Mexico is through the capital Mexico City. The Benito Juarez International Airport is located in Mexico City. It is one of Central America’s busiest airports and its expansion has only been hampered by the fact that it is surrounded by residential and commercial property. A secondary airport is the Toluca airport which handles domestic and private charter flights. The Mexico City Airport hosts most major North and South American carriers. There are regularly scheduled flights that operate daily between Mexico City and destinations such as Houston, Atlanta, Miami, Las Vegas and Dallas. If traveling from other parts of the United States or Canada, you can route via any one of these major hubs. A bus terminal located outside the airport provides public transportation to other parts of Mexico City. If you plan to explore further afield, it may be a good idea to hire a car for the duration of your stay.
