"Like many others, we return to Casa del Sol y La Luna every year and generally plan our next trip sitting in the Palapa, enjoying our first Pablo-rita, watching the sunset, while our kids devour Rosa's salsa and guacamole with Pablo's homemade chips. On our first visits, we had kids in pack-n-play cribs and we now have teenagers and all of them DEMAND that we return each year. For parents, having Pablo and Rosa take care of our every need, from cooking to cleaning, to laundry, which means that everyone is relaxed all week. It's my wife's favorite vacation because she truly gets downtime with none of her "usual" responsibilities and she's catered to daily (as she should be!) And I'm happy because we shop at the grocery store with Pablo and get the most authentic, delicious Mexican food on the planet without paying restaurant prices! Same for the hundreds of margaritas we consume all week. After all these years, we learned to never eat out on this vacation - nothing beats Pablo and Rosa's food. If you're interested in activities, there's nearby surfing, tennis, the private beach, eco-tours, fishing, etc. Or you can just lounge by the pool. We've already booked our next trip..."Guest: Casey T. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: September 3, 2014View listing
"We stayed here for a week and the place is great! Everything you might need to cook meals at the condo was available (excluding the food). Bed was comfortable. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was no cable TV but if that isn't important this is the place for you! Ant problem but I think this is prevalent anywhere in this region. Crabs come out in the evening everywhere. Don't leave any doors or windows open cause they will come in the condo. Mangers were friendly and helpful. Would recommend having a car available since it is a ways from town."Guest: Sandi Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 30, 2014View listing
"We stayed in this area of Mexico three times prior. We stayed at all inclusive a, an apartment hotel in Santiago and a house in la Manzanillo (for 3 months). This has been the best of all! It is a roomy, comfortable, beautifully decorated apartment. The gated community offers excellent security and the Oasis restaurant is truly wonderful for a few hours on the beach, a lunch, or dinner in the restaurant. Many sounds fill the air, birds, happy families, music... Pool or beach, take your pick, both are great. The town of Miramar is a short walk for groceries. Mexico is a developing nation, and this is a perfect Mexican holiday location!"Guest: Bea Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 16, 2014View listing
"Condo Alex was great! Convenient location for walking to the many restaurants, bars & clubs. Easy to grab a taxi or bus, too. Condo was comfortable: two bathrooms & the washer/dryer were the best! Water available on site & the staff were friendly & helpful. Poncho was the best: letting us in each night when we'd stayed out late! Other condo residents so nice & helpful. Alex was great to deal with in the booking process & Margarita & Gail were so nice to provide transport to/from the airport. Also they gave us information on what was happening for entertainment. Great stay. Thanks to everyone."Guest: Karen L. Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 6, 2014View listing
