  • Great Condo In Beautiful Manzanillo Bay

"Just spent two weeks in this wonderful condo. The condo is very, very well equipped with everything you need if you want to cook. Beds are really comfy as is all the furniture in the condo. At the pool you are waited on hand and foot for drinks and food which is very reasonable. We thought we would cook more until we started eating at the 4 restaurants on the Marina. Our favorite was the Marina Grill at the end...private...romantic and VERY inexpensive for fine dining. The Italian on is yummy too...great pizza! This Mexican destination is unlike anyplace else I've ever been in Mexico! No hounding and not americanized at all! You won't find any Gucci shops here. We toured Colima and the surrounding areas in car, ATV & by boat! All good! There are the elevators (3 to 10th floor) but we found them to be fast and efficient so not a problem. Had our laundry done twice...just take to the front office and they bring it back next day folded and clean! Once again, very inexpensive. View is fantastic of the terrace! Internet not great but sometimes it worked like wildfire...Can't wait to go back to Manzanillo again!"

  • Great value for the money!

"We stayed here for a week and the place is great! Everything you might need to cook meals at the condo was available (excluding the food). Bed was comfortable. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was no cable TV but if that isn't important this is the place for you! Ant problem but I think this is prevalent anywhere in this region. Crabs come out in the evening everywhere. Don't leave any doors or windows open cause they will come in the condo. Mangers were friendly and helpful. Would recommend having a car available since it is a ways from town."

  • Recommended Vacation Home

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa de Arcos. Situated on a hillside above Santiago Bay, the home offers million dollar views of the bay and the mountains. The sunroom outside of the master bedroom is a fantastic spot for enjoying a morning cup of coffee while watching the sun rise or relaxing with a glass of wine as the sun sets. The master bedroom is spacious, bright and airy, and it has an enormous adjoining master bathroom with lots of storage space, a sizable wardrobe closet, and a large glass block walk-in shower. With three bedrooms and three baths plus ample kitchen, dining and living areas, there was more than plenty of room for the two of us, but the house would be perfect for a family or even three couples. Our favorite feature of the property is the private pool which has comfortable padded lounge chairs and lots of floats for relaxing in the sun. It also has a table and 4 cushioned chairs under the shade of the palapa for outdoor lunches or for playing one of the games/puzzles that you’ll find in the house. Another advantage of this property is the good, strong internet for staying connected or streaming Netflix. We didn’t have a car, so we walked daily to the beaches, to the bus stop below, and throughout the town of Santiago. My husband and I are in our 60s, but we didn’t mind the short walk to nearby restaurants, the Kiosko convenience store, or the farmer’s market in Santiago. For longer longer distances, we hopped on a bus and were able to ride to shopping in Manzanillo or to the Oasis Ocean Club for dinner and live music. All of the neighbors (and their dogs) were very friendly. Actually, all of the locals that we met in Manzanillo were helpful and made us feel welcome. The rental process and security deposit refund was quick and easy. A very special thank you to our host Carl who promptly responded to our phone calls/emails and made sure that our stay was comfortable as well as memorable. All in all, Casa de Arcos is a wonderful vacation home, and we would definitely recommend it to others."

  • Perfect Mexican vacation

"We stayed in this area of Mexico three times prior. We stayed at all inclusive a, an apartment hotel in Santiago and a house in la Manzanillo (for 3 months). This has been the best of all! It is a roomy, comfortable, beautifully decorated apartment. The gated community offers excellent security and the Oasis restaurant is truly wonderful for a few hours on the beach, a lunch, or dinner in the restaurant. Many sounds fill the air, birds, happy families, music... Pool or beach, take your pick, both are great. The town of Miramar is a short walk for groceries. Mexico is a developing nation, and this is a perfect Mexican holiday location!"
