  • Best stay in Mexico so far!

"This was my second trip to CasaPacificaSalidita. Iam already planning my third. I don't think I need to look any further for a stay in Mexico. The location is a short drive from the Zihuat airport and the house is classy clean and comfortable and Magnificient if you like to be right on the beach with views from every room, listen to the surf while you sleep and find cool stuff on the beach steps from your case. The best part is Guillermo and Marteen his wife. They are so kind and hospitable, the food they prepare is incredible. Fresh and local. chile rellonos, shrimp, fish, chorizo and eggs, pancakes, bacon, fresh beans, rice. Always different and tasty. They will make what ever you want, and her salsa is the Bomb. Oh the margaritas and coco locos will light up your soul.....The waves out front are super fun with almost three different breaks from beginner to intermediate and other amazing surf spots are super close. The pool was our favorite part of the house. A few steps from your ocean dip you can walk into a perfect pool with a jacuzzi. We played volley ball, had a fire...oh yeah the stars. INCREDIBLE. They have all the toys too. I will not need to go elsewhere this place is amazing!"

  • Family surf trip

"We got back home last night a little sunburned, a little sore from all the surfing and totally exhausted from our vacation! The house had everything you need and then some! The caretaker Socorro and his wife were amazing and really helped us out in every way! My wife fell in love with his beautiful children and even got his address. Great surf, amazing food on the beach in Playa Saladita, beautiful sunsets and a great house!"

  • Casa Del Surfista Review: Fun, Relaxing, and Beautiful!

"Casa Del Surfista in La Saladita was a refreshing experience. We flew into ZIH/Ixtapa airport and rented cars. Our drive to the house was only 45 minutes or so. It was a beautiful drive with gorgeous landscape. If you go in the rainy reason, be ready to have an adventure on back roads in your car but it is totally doable. We arrived at the house and were blown away. It is absolutely beautiful; the pictures are great but it is even better in person. It is all open-air and a very nice size. There is sleeping in the main house upstairs and then in the Casita next door. This is nice if you want to take an afternoon nap. Everything is very updated and in great condition. The furnishings are also very attractive. We hired Patty who lives on site to do the cooking and cleaning. This was the best decision we ever made. It was very affordable and the food was delicous! It was amazing to wake up to a perfectly made, authentic, healthy breakfast. She also made us lunch and dinner everyday. This is an absolute must. It takes the stress out of going to the grocery, cleaning the food, and cooking. The pool was beautiful, ocean spectacular, and surf amazing. We also made some day trips to Troncones, The Ranch, Ixtapa, and Ixtapa Island for snorkeling and fishing. There is so much to do in this area and it is very safe. The locals are also very nice. We did some excursions through Alejandro in Troncones. His business is across from Present Moment Yoga/Spa. He is the best. We had a wonderful time and recommend it for all."

  • La Saladita review

"We're brand new to surfing but had heard La Saladita was a great place to learn. That this house was stocked with surf boards made it all very easy. To my delight, the house was also stocked with SUPs, white water kayaks, and boogie boards - a water enthusiast's dream. The presence of those ww kayaks cut my surfing career short, but the kids and my husband had a blast on the boards and now are hooked. The house is magical and the caretakers, Alfonso and Alicia, truly gems. We fell into an easy rhythm of fresh fruit in the morning, lots of beach time, splashing in the pool, lovely meals on the covered deck overlooking the ocean, naps in the hammocks, and just generally reveling in the warm air and long sunsets. You should GO; this house is pretty much perfect."
