  • Best. Vacation. Ever.

"I spent 12 days at Casa Forchette with a group of friends over New Years. It was, by far, the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. The house is extremely comfortable, and we were so well cared for by Mauricia. The property itself is well designed, the space and sense of aesthetic is soothing. The six of us always felt like we had enough room to spread out, and the communal area was delightful – we loved sitting down to dinner at the big tables, and cooking in the well appointed kitchen. The pool area was perfect, and the short trail to the beach landed in a little private beach with a little palapa for shade and was just a short walk to a primo body surfing beach. Sunset cocktails were the habit for those 12 days. It was a very good habit:-). There were some great surprises, too… The fishermen would come by daily with the fresh catch of the day which we then bought right off the truck. Fantastic fish! Dorado, shrimp, tuna… yum. And! As if that is not enough, the farm truck would come by, too… with fruits and vegetables. So much to love about this place. Troncones itself is kind of sleepy in all the right ways. It is enough off the beaten track so that it never felt crowded, but with solid infrastructure so we never felt disconnected. It is also incredibly safe, and all the people we met were open and friendly. We are already planning our return."

  • So mech better that expected - wonderful!!

"This property exceeds all expectations. It is a beautiful location, a beautiful property and quite literally paradise. I went for 8 days with my kids - we relaxed, swam in the ocean, rock climbed along the shore, swam in the ocean and RELAXED. The people who attend to the house are wonderful - Auroua and Bernardo were so sweet. It is VERY hard to find, but once you are there it is a destination. The drives to town are 15 minutes North to Troncones for some small restaurants and markets or 30 minutes to Zihuat and Ixtapa for city items. Lots of nature all around you - birds, critters, cats, a sweet dog who visits daily and AMAZING gardens. If you want to unplug off the grid of cell and internet, this is the place for you!"

  • Sublime Get-Away

"Enter the chunky wooden gates into this oasis on the sea. The posted photos are true to life, though the privacy and ambiance permeate at once. We've stayed in the La Concha suite and La Palma Suite. Each offer superb comfort with spacious environs that invite you out to the magnificent Palapa that is the hub of relaxation or party time. Enjoy the shady breezes or float in the infinity pool that pours out to the beach, then the crashing waves of the sea! Plenty to do... or not. You have much from which to choose…. Delightful destination!"

  • Tropical Paradise .... I was applauded by my group!

"I booked this property for our group, and when I got there 1 hour after they did... I was pleased to get a standing ovation! Kena is the cleaning lady, and she is very accommodating for whatever you need. The pool guy even took one of us lobster fishing one day! Use Gustavo for your car needs or airport shuttles, he is very prompt on returning your emails. The rooms/beds are very comfortable, and we all liked that they are private to not have to hear nightly activities if you don't want to hear them. The stereo was nice in the kitchen room that had speakers out by the pool. If we go again, we would remember to bring more CD's, or an adapter to play our own music. It is also great that there is a supply of cleanser for the fruit and vegetables to be washed in. Not sure if Craig supplied it, or if it was left over from last guests? Sergio cooked us a fabulous meal! We purchased shrimp and Mahi from the locals, and he dug through our fridge and put together e a feast! We paid him $80+tip and paid for our food. We also had fresh abalone, and muscles that the locals dug off the rocks in the surf right in front of us some days. Can't get any fresher! Vendors a few, and far between...but they will find what you want and bring it the next day! I would recommend getting peso's before you go. No banks there, and locals exchange rate is whatever they want it to be at times.....much easier having pesos for all! Thank you Craig, for sharing your place on's people like you that made our friends quit their locked in time-share!! They LOVE staying in new places and exploring different cities in Mexico other than Mazatlan every year after year! We got them to Ixtapa once, and were hooked on our adventures! Your place is wonderful!"
