"We were here for three weeks and could have stayed another three. Very comfortable home with all amenities you need. Close to town, stores, bus stop, you name it. The use of the bikes was awesome and sure helped when getting groceries and our favourite cold beverages. The pool was awesome to help cool down and ceiling fans helped keep the house cool. Having the shaw satelite was great to be able to watch news from home, and in english. The internet was great to have as well. The house not lacking for much at all and hopefully we can come back soon. Gustavo and Maria were great and very trustworthy employees. Really had a good time in Barra. Thanks again!!!!"

"La Rosa Condo was wonderful. It was clean, spacious, relaxing and close to everything. Roger and Rosa are amazing people and go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. My husband went fishing for a day (Rosa and Roger arranged it) and had the time of his life. Lol, everyone got tuna that day. Our mornings and late afternoons were spent exploring Barra and surrounding area and our afternoons at that wonderful pool, that always had a very welcoming breeze. What a combination, beautiful Barra, La Rosa Condo and Roger and Rosa. We are hoping to see it all again next year. For our first time in Mexico we couldn't have hoped for anything better. Loved every minute of it. Thanks again Roger and Rosa"

"We spent a week in this lovely Mexican home. The house, the yard, the pool are very well maintained and spotlessly clean. If you are looking for a place with Mexican charm, right in the heart of a local neighbourhood this is the place for you. We enjoyed strolling and shopping in the neighbourhood shops with the locals. Everybody we met were friendly and helpful. Despite our not speaking spanish, we were able to make ourselves understood with the housekeepers, landscapers, pool people and shopkeepers. Barra town centre and the lagoon area were a 10 minute stroll away with many places to enjoy a meal or a drink. Work on the beach area interferes a bit with the ambience of the beachside restaurants but the results will make up for that inconvenience. Melaque is a short drive or bus ride away with plenty of dining and shopping options. We found the Hawaii grocery store stocking Costco brands of cheese and other food items not easily found in the neighbourhood grocery stores. This area of Mexico is great for those who are not looking for tours and swimming with the dolphins, preferring great weather and slower pace. Not a time-share salesman in sight!!"

"My big family (10 adults!) went down to Mexico and stayed with Barry & Barb in their villa for a week of fun in the sun... it was fantastic! B & B went out of their way to ensure we all were comfortable and happy, including a huge delicious lasagna (including veggie version) for our first dinner upon arrival. They gave us lots of good tips about where to eat out, what to see, and do; arranged for massages and pedicures, let us use their bikes, took us on a boat trip thru the canal and around the lagoon, and lots more. But they left us to enjoy their villa and pool on our own most of the time. We hung out pool side or in their huge palapa most of the time into the wee hours of the morning. And enjoyed the beautiful beaches just 3 blocks away every day. Barra is a great town, especially if you are tired of the resort scene as we are. Quiet, simple, authentic, friendly. We had an amazing week!"
