"An exceptional Casa. Stayed 2 weeks in 2015. 8 family members, all opinionated, absolutely loved it. The pool, the rooms, bathrooms, palapa/kitchen/dining area beyond belief, views great, real Mexican village (no resorts no condos) folks who live in it gracious, kind, helpful and lots of grocery outlets and small family restaurants. Bottled water aplenty provided and our garburator issue attended to within a couple of hours. No one got sick and we ate everywhere. The gardener/handyman Genaro is an outstanding kind human being who will help you explore and enjoy to the fullest. Really a special place makes you realize how lucky you are to be able to go there. Suggestions: One: the appliances (stove, dishwasher, fridge) need attention. Gas stove some burners out, fridge cold but door ajar without using brace and dishwasher not working (though repair people scheduled by property manager) Small things compared to all the good. Perfect for large group."

"My wife and I and three friends arrived at Casa Linda late afternoon in a monsoon like thunderstorm. We were tired, hungry and in serious need of cold beer. We really did not want to walk back into town in the driving rain for food and drink. No problem. There was beer in the fridge and Linda insisted on driving one of us into town to pick up pizza, which she ordered on our behalf. A great start to a great holiday in La Manzanilla. A day later the rain stopped and the sun came out to stay. La Manzanilla was a great new discovery for us and our time there was totally enhanced by the helpfulness and hospitality of Linda and Claude. Linda is a well known artist and art teacher and her paintings are displayed throughout the house. She is an amazingly energetic woman.
Our friendly neighbours in the other suite have been coming to Casa Linda for about 7 years and it's easy to see why. Claude and Linda even had us all down for dinner on Valentine's day.
Casa Linda is not on the beach, but it is not much more than a 5 minute walk down the hill to the main street and the beach, and the view from the house is fabulous. Another nice perk, that we used quite a bit, is a free international phone for the use of guests.
La Manzanilla has lots of really good restaurants, and all the groceries we needed to cook at home, including wine, beer and margarita makings, were available in the town. We will return to La Manzanilla and have no hesitation in recommending Casa Linda to anyone else heading that way. The house and the hosts were first class."

"The condo is nice and clean. You will need a vehicle to reach the condo because it might be hard to reach if you are not familiar with the area. The condo was kept clean the maid, Nelly, who is pleasant and eager to help in anything she can. Overall it was a comfortable stay but I the only complaint would be the access to the beach. The house has a side door that allows for a straight walk to the beach; however the water from the lagoon which is said to have a few crocodiles was blocking the pathway. So we had to walk around about a 5 minute walk to reach the beach. It wasn't a big deal but walking with beach items and two kids it can get tiresome."
