  • Villa Blanca and Casa Tucan a delightful discovery!

"My stay at Casa Tucan again solidifies why VRBO continues to be an amazing resource for the smart traveler! I could not have been more pleased with the friendly and helpful staff as well as owner Rob, who was beyond helpful and gracious in assisting me with a last minute booking. Casa Tucan really ended up feeling like home away from home, with plenty of space (especially for a single traveler) and a really lovely patio from which one can hear the ocean breeze. The onsite wading pool was a wonderful place to spend an afternoon or two, and the proximity to the beach and every amenity could not have been better. A definite recommendation for a stay!"

  • The Best Condo On the Beach

"Without being redundant with the other reviews.........this was the best vacation we have had in a long time. The condo is exactly as advertised and more. The condo is actually equipped for a long term stay. Unfortunately ours was only a week. As advertised, they are directly above the beach. We are beach people so this was very important. The 2 restaurants (La Palapa & Si Senor) below the condo are both excellent for their food and drink. However the La Palapa pulls up their beach furniture around 4:30 so we spent most of our beach time at Si Senor's who provides excellent curb service and longer beach service. No extra charge for the beach furniture. We were there over a Mexican Holiday so it was very festive. We were also there during a very high tide because of a hurricane that had passed by several miles out to sea. No wind, just high surf to watch the locals on their surf boards from our balcony! Will we return, oh yes!"

  • More than expected!

"The three of us spent 3 weeks at Casa Uno in early Jan 2015. We were very impressed with the spacious condo. There were 2 large BR suites, a good size kitchen and dining & living area. The place was clean as daily maid service was provided except for sundays. We were one the 1st floor, therefor only got a partial view of the ocean, but plenty of fresh air coming from it. Cookware was plenty, from blender to toaster oven. We were surprised to find fresh beach towels available every day. Even though Casa Uno is in a good location, we still had to walk uphill and downhill on cobblestoned roads to get to the beach or downtown. It was good exercise and we did not mind it at all, all you need is good walking shoes. As the building is located on the highway, it got very noisy at night and early morning. Bring mosquito repellent, just in case. Overall it was a good experience. We really enjoyed the farmers' market held every Saturday morning. You can sample lots of nice and fresh fruits, baked goods, etc..and at the same enjoy free live music. New beds were delivered the day we left, too bad we were not around to enjoy it."
