Selva Romantica is a gem!
"The Selva Rpmantica rental was a luxurious place to stay in Puerto Vallartas Zona Romantica. We came to relax and seek adventure. Our home base couldn't be nicer. The infinity pool was refreshing with majestic views of the bay as well as jungle laden mountains. The location was perfect place to access boat tours, the beach, the walks, nightlife etc."

"We returned just yesterday from P.V. after spending 1 week at this fabulous 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo in the Romantic Zone of Old Town. We were VERY impressed by the high quality of all appliances and the professional, contemporary decor which includes many unique accessories, and original artwork. The lighting throughout the unit is amazing, giving you the ability to "set the mood" both inside and outside on the terraces. The queen size beds were very comfortable and both the ensuite and main bathroom were beautifully finished, featuring exceptional shower heads(2 in the ensuite). The stainless barbeque is nestled amongst tropical foliage but there is also one on the upstairs roof deck. The air conditioning is remote controlled with the main unit in the living area and one in each bedroom. There are stacking washer/dryer in the unit as well as internet , flat-screen T.V's, DVD player and a stereo system.
Although Los Muertos beach is only a 3 minute walk, we spent most afternoons enjoying the roof top pool and spa featuring quality lounges and shaded pergola areas with a 360 degree view of Banderas Bay and an impressive look at the mountains behind. The owner, David is very accessible and provides a detailed list of restaurants, bars and attractions in the area. He has a small disclaimer suggesting no responsibility for bad experiences, but we enjoyed many of his suggestions with favorable results.
The Romantic Zone is a really unique part of P.V> where everyone can be themselves with little judgement from others. This area has an abundance of quality restaurants, bars, amazing beaches and fascinating people.
We are somewhat reluctant to give this review as more people will discover our little oasis and that will mean less availability for us, but we owe it to David as he is a great host and has earned this with extra effort."

"It was our tenth time in PV but all our usual rentals were full up. We found this place and thought we'd give it a try. Best decision we've made in a long time! This condo is spacious and beautifully decorated and you can't beat the view. It has lots of little touches -- double filtered tap water, efficient air conditioning, well appointed kitchen, nice little pool. The location is also very good, 5 minutes from Los Muertos beach and just across the highway from the best restaurant in town, Bistro Teresa. Most people wouldn't want to make the climb to the condo on foot -- 200 steps, give or take -- but it's only a $3.50 cab ride. A bonus is Paty, the helpful and friendly property manager, who's just a phone call away. And best of all . . . we paid $120 a night in high season! Try to find anything close to this quality for that price -- you can't!"

"My family just finished a perfect week at Cafe Paraiso, and we could not have been happier with our decision. Reality exceeded expectations, the villa even nicer than the very enticing photos. Triny and Rosario could not have been more accommodating, and their breakfasts were the treat that started us on the right foot daily. They went out of their way to treat our sixteen-month old special, and Triny arranged for baby sitting services on two evenings (once bringing her daughter in, and the other herself). The Villa is a hike up the hill, but the view is magnificent and there are really good restaurants within a couple minutes walk once there. The beach is easy to reach, and all of old Puerto Vallarta and the Zona Romantico are within easy striking distance. And if we were not wanting to challenge the climb, taxis are very easily hired for a very reasonable fare. All three of the larger bedrooms were really nicely appointed with terraces and spacious bathrooms. Maria made a point of contacting me at appropriate intervals to make sure we had all questions answered, were ready to relax when we hit the ground at PVR. She made it easy. I hope to be able book Casa Paraiso again--the whole experience was exactly what we were hoping for."
