  • Best vacation ever

"We rented Casa Bonita from Bill for 10 days in March/2015. Everything about the condo, pool and beach is fantastic. The pictures don't do the condo and the pool justice, it's way nicer than the pictures show. The condo has everything you could possibly need including lots of big beach towels and most importantly, a good blender! We spent most days hanging around the pool, we usually had it completely to ourselves. There were very few people around. The water in the pool is crystal clear, warm and feels extremely soft on your skin, whoever does the pool maintenance really knows their stuff. The beach is great, nice sand with lots of shells to collect every day. I spent a lot of time snorkeling in the water with my 3 kids, we saw dozens of species of fish, including a small sting ray. We saw a few jellyfish south of the main beach area but never got stung despite spending about an hour every day snorkeling, just be aware that they are there, as they are in the waters of all tropical counties. The water varied in visibility from 10 feet to about 30 feet. The onsite staff for the building are great, especially Delia (hope I'm spelling her name right) who is at the front desk most days. She was always quick to answer any questions we had. Buses come by every 10 minutes in front of the building. It's 8 peso's to get into Puerto Vallarta. Other than our arrival and departure from the airport, we never bothered with the taxi. The wifi is excellent around the pool area but a little slow in the condo itself. I was actually glad it's a little slow in the condo, it kept my kids from spending too much time on their tablets. I quite enjoyed having my morning coffee by the pool while checking on emails and posting "brag" pictures I took the day before on facebook. The owner, Bill is very quick to respond to any questions you may have about the condo. Dealing with him was a real pleasure, we hope to be back one day."

  • Lovely vacation at Girasol Sur

"What a fun vacation we had at this unit! We enjoyed breakfast & whale watching on our balcony each morning. Then we went down to the beach for a swim. We had to get through the surf near the shore (yellow flags each day), but when we got past the breakers it was pleasant. Mid-day we made ourselves a picnic lunch with food bought in the little store downstairs, then caught the public bus into town or towards points south for an outing. The front desk was very helpful getting us oriented. We came home in the evening and swam in the lovely pool. Finally, dinner in the on-site open air restaurant. The condos are very clean with nice landscaping and super security. ATM machine at Best Western next door. We hope to come again!"

  • Amazing & Highly Recommended

"A group of 8 of us stayed here in February for a birthday trip. If I could do it over again, I wouldn’t have chosen any other place. The house was great – more than enough room for the 8 of us, beautiful views, and a great staff. The layout was ideal for groups – a perfect mix of common open areas + closed off private sleeping areas w/ individual showers & baths. The neighborhood is really nice – pretty secluded in a residential part of town, but not far enough away that you feel out of the loop. We would usually walk to the beach / town and just takes cabs back to avoid walking uphill on the way back. We didn’t have any issues at all. The only thing I recommend is to bring bug spray – not a huge deal, but there were mosquitoes around, especially at night. I would absolutely stay here again, and probably will!"

  • Nice house...

"We recently stayed at Casa Sueno Tropical.. The house has a spectacular view and beautiful outdoor space.. The pros and cons are as follows: Pros: Lovely outdoor space, great pool. Fabulous view..it is exceptionally beautiful. Comfortable bedrooms. Close to town. Ana, who will do the shopping and cooking .(very good cook). Cons: The house is up a rather steep hill. Not easy to go running, take a walk to town and return.. Not fun to go to beach. We have rented condos many times in PV. The linen closet is usually stocked with towels, extra sheets blankets and pillows. There was absolutely nothing in the closets in this house.. Everything was kept in a locked basement area and only Ana had the key. Over the course of the week I asked for another towel(we had received one) , a blanket and a pillow. On two occasions Ana left without giving me what I asked for... If items were kept in the house it would not have been an issue..Not what you would expect in a “luxury” house. I felt like I was in some third world youth hostel where I received one towel a week.. The kitchen was not great. Small space, old appliances, pots and pans. NO dishwasher.. If you have any intention of cooking for yourself, forget it unless you want to wash dishes. The house was a little tired.. It needed new faucets, kitchen appliances, bigger TV . It is kept extremely clean and well maintained however. The house instruction book was ridiculously inadequate. No information about the TV, cable, lights.. Nothing about beaches in the area, buses… the kind of thing most good rental houses provide. We didn’t exactly know how Ana worked and in e mails before with the owner we received very little information. We were assured there was info in the house, but there wasn’t.. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it...Just be aware of the location and ask a lot of questions before..."
