  • A dream come true

"If you are looking for the perfect place to get away from the stresses and strains of modern life then this is place for you. The villa is situated high on a hill overlooking the beach at Mismaloya with the most stunning views and is equiped with everything you might conceivably need for a perfect stay. Carl, the concierge, is readily at hand to deal with any problems and advise on things to do and also tends the beautiful plants in the gardens. The only minor drawback is that, being built into a hill, the villa is on several different levels so there are a lot of stairs to negotiate but this didn't inconvenience the writer of this review who is in his eighties and actually felt fitter after his stay!"

  • Paradise

"We stayed 7 nights in the 5th floor condo. There are great views of both north and south beaches from the balcony. The room was comfortable but we weren't inside very often. We took advantage of being in paradise. The location was perfect and in our opinion, Playa Gemelas is the prettiest beach we saw in the area. Way nicer than the beaches in Old Town and much less crowded. The water was warm and clear with good snorkeling around the rocks. We swam at least twice a day. Took the bus to Old Town many times to eat and sightsee. It's only 8 pesos (about 60 cents) and runs quite often. We also rode the bus to Mismaloya and got a boat out to Los Arcos to snorkel. Also went on an excursion to the Marriettas Islands to snorkel (through That was fun even though there were way too many people. Other highlights: The birds, flowers, fabulous sunsets, great food! There's so much to do there. We'll have to return to do the rest on our list. We were really impressed by how beautiful the condo bldg is with all the tropical flowers on the balcony. That was a real treat to see every day. The mini-market on site is a great convenience for bottled water and anything you might've forgotten to bring. The staff there are all very nice and helpful, too."

  • Fabulous Place and Excellent Value

"My wife and I have been staying at this condo on trips to PV for several years. The stays have been from two to six weeks. The unit is spotless and very well furnished. The kitchen is a dream, fully equipped with everything you could need. The location is great, less than a five minute cab ride from the Old Town. It is on a bluff just above Bandaras Bay with beautiful views and the beach just a two minute walk away. It is gated with a guard on duty 24/7 and totally secure. The employees there are great and always willing to help with baggage, recommendations, etc. Best of all is the owner. She is a outstanding and will do anything she can to make your stay as good as it could be! She maintains the condo exceptionally well and is constantly upgrading (bathrooms this year) to keep it as new and comfey as it can be. It is a terrific value and I would recommend ot to anyone. You don't need a car and it is fully accessable with an elevator and no stairs to reach the unit from the entrance."

  • No Te Preocupes! (Don't worry)

"The review title really says it all about our this VBRO rental. There is nothing to worry about while staying at this beautiful villa. The location is magnificent too. The Carpenter's are gracious and easy going folk. Booking was smooth and easy. They are easy to contact and can provide a wealth of information to you at your fingertips. Make sure you don't miss out on this resource if this is your first trip to PV. Their staff are superb: Effi's cooking is authentic and very delicious. She made breakfast for us every morning and 2 dinners. You do not want to miss out on her culinary skills. Have her prepare a meal at least once is a must. Tony ("Taxi Tony") who picked us up and dropped us off at airport sure did make our trip a lot easier. He was waiting for us promptly at the airport when we arrived. Tony also drove us to the local Walmart so that we could stock up on a some things before we arrived at the villa. Riding back with him to the airport when it was time to depart was painless and hassle free too. The villa itself is quite beautiful and its views are stunning. The pics on the VBRO web site do not do it justice. The home is very well maintained and cleanly. The pool is the main focal of the home and it was put to good use. Nothing like taking a dip after a night out on the town while the midnight temps are still hovering around the 80s. Watching the sunset from pool was breathtaking too. The kitchen has all modern stainless steel appliances and everything you need to cook should the need arise. Bedrooms, bathrooms, dinning room and living room are all beautifully decorated. You can tell the Carpenter's have put a lot of care and love into their second home. I also want to add the working staff and villas are very pleasant too. We met the night guard Victor and he called a cab for us once. Opened and held the taxi door for my wife; don't see service like that now-n-days. Overall the people of PV are friendly and warm. Often we would take turns speaking in Spanish and English; they could practice their English and us gringos could practice our Spanish. We highly recommend El Campo del Mar and we thank the Carpenter's for allowing us to share in their little piece of heaven."

South Zone Travel Tips

Finding Great South Zone Vacation Rentals

Puerto Vallarta has a lot to offer to almost anyone, especially if they like to do things outside. With that in mind, South Zone resorts and Puerto Vallarta condos are great choices for vacationers. They're better than cramped motel rooms where you don't have room to spread out and not everyone in your group can be together without being crowded and uncomfortable. A lot of people think that they can't afford Puerto Vallarta condos, but that's often not true. South Zone resorts in that area are generally very affordable, especially when considering all the amenities you can get for the price.

Puerto Vallarta Condos Have a Lot to Offer

Getting a vacation rental condo in Puerto Vallarta can be a great experience. To get the best deal, visit the area during the off-season and book early. Doing those things means that you'll have the chance at the best price and the largest number of Puerto Vallarta condos and South Zone vacation rentals to choose from. A larger selection means you'll be more likely to get what you're really looking for, instead of something that doesn't completely meet your needs. If you have special needs or requests for someone who's traveling with you, be sure to ask about that at the time of booking.

What to See and Do Near South Zone Resorts

Anyone who's staying in Puerto Vallarta condos won't want to stay inside all the time. Even with great amenities, the lure of going outside to explore is too great to ignore. Canopy and Outdoor Adventures and Wildlife Connection are two of the most popular attractions near South Zone vacation rentals. You might also want to check out Unique ATV Tours and Metamorphosis Day Spa for great things to do near the South Zone resorts.
