  • Exceptional private house

"Our stay at Casa de las Palapas was beyond amazing. Maricela (the chef) cooked two meals a day for 9 of us, and it exceeded our expectations. She is an amazing cook. The house is huge and wonderful. We used every guest room available, but it's still so private. The new house manager, Ricardo is fantastic. He was just a phone call away and so helpful."

  • Fantastic, Attentive Staff in an Authentic Beachfront Villa

"We are a group of 5 couples that stayed at Villa Celeste over New Year's week. The property is exactly as pictured and was a great place to stay. It is literally steps from Conchas Chinas beach, but most of the beachfront is rocks -- a very short 10 minute walk north on the beach puts you in Playa de los Muertos where you can pick a chair and have drinks and meals on the beach all day. The staff at Villa Celeste was incredible. Pancho, the house manager, will coordinate any reservations or activities you would like. Javier, the chef, can prepare virtually any meal you ask for and Francisca kept the rooms in great shape for us. Daniel from Vallarta Shores made the reservation process very easy. He was easy to reach and to communicate with and eagerly answered any of our questions and concerns."

  • Beautiful apartment and magical veiews

"We were a group of 7 friends from the US and Australia and couldn't have asked for a better apartment to rent. The owner was incredibly helpful and explained how everything worked (from bbq to power switches). The on-line pictures are exactly as viewed on the site and the private rooftop pool was breath-taking. The three main bedrooms (downstairs) are all big and perfect for couples - and the rooftop day (or night bed) was great if you want the outdoors experience (the 4th bedroom upstairs is very small and not really suitable for an adult - no air). We were so blessed with magical weather and perfect sunsets nearly every night - evening sunset cocktails were a must. We hired the house maid for the week - supberb cook and made great margarita's. The location is only a 5-7 mins taxi ride away from the old town - conceirge were always available to book one for us and it was about U$5-6 per trip or for a group about U$12-15. We loved the peace and tranquility from downtown. We would definitely stay again."

  • Serenety, Privacy, Spectacular Views, Comfort, & Swimming Pool - What More Could We Have Asked For?

"My family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) spent 2 weeks at this home in late July/early August. From the moment we entered, we were struck by the beautiful interior decor and spectacular views of the ocean, beaches, and Los Arcos rock formations. Upon our arrival, we enjoyed a great meal that was prepared for us and took a dip in the swimming pool, which is just the right size for us. Our family enjoyed many peaceful hours cooling off in the pool while chatting about our challenges and dreams for the future. Removed from the routines and distractions of everyday life, we grew progressively closer during our time in Puerto Vallarta. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet, and the air conditioning kept the rooms cool. We were careful to minimize AC use to save energy, and still remained comfortable throughout our stay. The only minimal setback I can claim is that the internet service is a bit slow, so that the cable television can be unsteady, and the telephone in the unit did not function (due to an unhealthy monopoly on phone service in PV). During the first 10 days of our stay in Puerto Vallarta, we did not have a car and relied on the local buses. This was a great decision, because the buses into town and to southern points (e.g., Mismaloya and the botanical gardens) are very convenient. We enjoyed being with the locals and hearing them chat among themselves. We picked up a rental car late in our vacation and visited a beautiful silver mining village in the mountains (300 year old San Sebastian del Oeste) and a charming beach town (Sayulita). If you are searching for a peaceful and private place to spend with your family or loved ones, then I don't think you will be disappointed with this unit. Our time there will be a cherished memory for my family for many years to come."
