"This property is simply magnificent, and contributed so much to the wonderfully relaxing time we had in Puerto Vallarta. It was such a joy to begin and end each day with awe inspiring view of the Pacific. It was a great vantage point for fireworks, especially for the spectacular New Year's Eve show. There were 6 of us in our family and there was plenty of bedroom and living space, all very well-appointed and comfortable. We enjoy cooking together on vacation and in some rentals we have had in the past, that has been challenging. That is not the case here. The kitchen is very large and well-equipped with a variety of pots, pans and plenty of dishes, with a 6 burner gas stove with grill, griddle, and oven. There was also an outdoor grill, which we did not use, if you want to cook poolside. The refrigerator was large and clean, and plenty of fresh clean water available. The pool area was wonderful. A great place for a dip, or to relax with a good book in one of the chaise lounges under an umbrella. We enjoyed the TV room, watching some movies we had brought with us on DVD, and some good novels on the bookshelf. The condo is very well maintained, the furnishings very comfortable, and it is filled with art. The three bedrooms each have their own tiled bathrooms, all with showers, one with a huge tub, and each with a different tile motif. The beds were comfortable, with mosquito netting, ceiling fans, and when the weather is hotter, are air conditioned. The cleaning staff were very hard working and kept the place spotless, and did a wonderful job with our laundry. Humberto Garcia, the manager, is helpful and friendly. He took us grocery shopping, made reservations for our two dinners out, advised us about bus travel, how to get to the airport, etc. The Bistro down the street where we had our New Year's Eve dinner is a beautiful spot with good food and service. A lively and diverse beach is close by, and it was not difficult to cross the road, which is busy at times but with breaks in traffic. Shopping and restaurants are within waling distance, taxis are readily available with regulated fares. We typically paid $4 to $6 to return to Casa Encandtada and Villa Emily . We enjoyed browsing the art galleries and shops, including a food market on Emiliano Zapata. We were amazed at our good fortune to find such an exquisite place to enjoy our holiday together."
