"We stayed 7 nights in the 5th floor condo. There are great views of both north and south beaches from the balcony. The room was comfortable but we weren't inside very often. We took advantage of being in paradise. The location was perfect and in our opinion, Playa Gemelas is the prettiest beach we saw in the area. Way nicer than the beaches in Old Town and much less crowded. The water was warm and clear with good snorkeling around the rocks. We swam at least twice a day. Took the bus to Old Town many times to eat and sightsee. It's only 8 pesos (about 60 cents) and runs quite often. We also rode the bus to Mismaloya and got a boat out to Los Arcos to snorkel. Also went on an excursion to the Marriettas Islands to snorkel (through vallarta-adventures.com). That was fun even though there were way too many people. Other highlights: The birds, flowers, fabulous sunsets, great food! There's so much to do there. We'll have to return to do the rest on our list. We were really impressed by how beautiful the condo bldg is with all the tropical flowers on the balcony. That was a real treat to see every day. The mini-market on site is a great convenience for bottled water and anything you might've forgotten to bring. The staff there are all very nice and helpful, too."Guest: Maureen Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 3, 2014View listing
"Stayed at Casa Demae II for only three nights. We almost cried when we had to leave. It was luxurious, tranquil, and heck of a lot of fun all at the same time. The house is immaculate and the staff both kind and attentive. I'm not too sure what I'll miss more the snorkeling, kayaking, swimming pool, Isidro's margaritas, or just leaving the balcony doors open and listening to the waves crash on the rocks and night. Fabulous place!"Guest: Joe & Carmen Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: February 15, 2014View listing
"From the moment your car travels up the cobblestone hill, you are hoping that all of your expectations will meet the feast your eyes are seeing. Your adventure starts at the gate, where the cab driver rings a bell on a rope and Miguel scurries down the hill to greet you and carry your bags. The home is designed into the hillside so beautifully that as you ascend, you get bigger and better views along the way. There are art and sculptures as well as lush landscaping to greet you. The villa will EXCEED your expectations. There are views not even featured on the listing. The architecture is stunning, the furnishings are exquisite, and the views are some of the best I've ever seen. I've been to Greece, many, many islands and PV at least a half dozen times - so impressing me is no small task. The villa is lovingly cared for and spotlessly clean. I am a clean freak and I can tell you that I walked around barefoot the entire time without a care in the world. The REAL jewel of this villa - is the staff. Ana and Miguel were like family to us. They were warm, sweet, unassuming, attentive without being invasive and all the while providing 5 Star service. Ana is an amazing cook who will give you what you want (we had Lobster one evening) but I also recommend indulging in some of her Mexican specialties as they are delish. We requested guacamole at 2PM every day. The real danger lurking here is Miguel - he will keep your glass filled at all times and you will not even notice he is there! I walked down every morning to the patios being swept, the pool and hot tub being cleaned. While we had breakfast in the house or by the pool -- olur choice- staff cleaned everything to a perfect shine and refreshed our linens. I've been in 5 star hotels that would struggle to keep up with the service provided by these amazing people. I cried when I had to say Adios and Ana cried as well. I will spend the rest of my life dreaming about when I can next return to this magical hillside villa. Oh . . did I mention the three master suites with stunning ceilings, individual living rooms, state of the art stereo systems and 180 degree views? Oh yeah, there's that too. The Master suite alone is worth the cost of the entire villa. The only thing I want to add is that you are a good $18 cab ride to PV. We hit town about three times, but the villa is the experience."Guest: Becky G. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 11, 2014View listing
"I'm not sure how this is possible, but the villa exceeded our high expectations. We have viewed it from a passing panga the past couple of years so we knew the location was awesome, but once inside we found that the construction, furnishings, and amenities were also impeccable. We marveled and wondered about the effort it must have taken to build such a place in that remote location. Of course what made our stay so relaxing and decompressing was the attentive, friendly, and professional staff. They were all top notch. Luis was the true ambassador of Playasola. He was knowledgeable and helped us decide on and arrange activities such as massages and fishing. He also shared helpful information about Puerto Vallarta, Las Animas, Playasola, and the owner's other properties such as Casa La Vista. As a bonus we were never thirsty when Luis was around. I don't want to take anything away from anyone else because they were all wonderful, but Luis is who we came to rely on the most and he really made us feel at home. I have to mention that Juan also got to know our preferences and cooked phenomenal meals. We spent a good amount of time scheming about return visits (with and without kids) Thanks for providing a wonderful location, villa and staff!"Guest: Allen C. South Zone Travel Tips
Finding Great South Zone Vacation Rentals
Puerto Vallarta has a lot to offer to almost anyone, especially if they like to do things outside. With that in mind, South Zone resorts and Puerto Vallarta condos are great choices for vacationers. They're better than cramped motel rooms where you don't have room to spread out and not everyone in your group can be together without being crowded and uncomfortable. A lot of people think that they can't afford Puerto Vallarta condos, but that's often not true. South Zone resorts in that area are generally very affordable, especially when considering all the amenities you can get for the price.
Puerto Vallarta Condos Have a Lot to Offer
Getting a vacation rental condo in Puerto Vallarta can be a great experience. To get the best deal, visit the area during the off-season and book early. Doing those things means that you'll have the chance at the best price and the largest number of Puerto Vallarta condos and South Zone vacation rentals to choose from. A larger selection means you'll be more likely to get what you're really looking for, instead of something that doesn't completely meet your needs. If you have special needs or requests for someone who's traveling with you, be sure to ask about that at the time of booking.
What to See and Do Near South Zone Resorts
Anyone who's staying in Puerto Vallarta condos won't want to stay inside all the time. Even with great amenities, the lure of going outside to explore is too great to ignore. Canopy and Outdoor Adventures and Wildlife Connection are two of the most popular attractions near South Zone vacation rentals. You might also want to check out Unique ATV Tours and Metamorphosis Day Spa for great things to do near the South Zone resorts.
