"We had such a lovely stay in Casa Blanca. Certainly a once in a lifetime experience, I don't think that we have ever been so relaxed in our lives! When we arrived in PV we stayed at the hotel Posada De Roger, and while the location and the restaurant next door was excellent, the bed (3 in room) were all rock hard. I wouldn't stay there again. We did stay at Casa Tukari the night before we flew out, and I highly recommend it. It was quiet, and the bed was soft and they were so nice! We did as Debbie suggested and got all our supplies including the tequila at the Leys Supermarketo downtown, which was about a 2 mile walk north from Posada De Roger. We were concerned we had bought too many supplies, but the helper at Boca de Tomatlan just got out his wheelbarrow and carted our stuff to the shore to wait for the water taxi. It was not problem off loading as well as there was about 4 people on shore waiting for us at Los Chonchos when we arrived. We did take the hike into Chimo, and enjoyed lunch at Arturos. Be careful on the walk there, its tricky climbing and I wouldnt take kids over the trail. Another day we used their new red sea tandem kayak and had a fantastic lunch at Chimos (there are only 2 thatched roofs in Chimo which is how we found it). We loved our stay there, and would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to get off the grid, and just truly relax."Guest: Cassandra M. "We just came back from a one week stay at this beautiful beachfront Puerto Vallarta home. The artistic and beautiful architecture of the villa itself is wonderfully maintained and impeccably clean. The pool and uncrowded beach combined for an ongoing and wonderful playground that was accessible, attractive, and welcomed all ages. Staff: The results of their efforts were obvious, though they remained in the background unless summoned. They seemed cheerful, happy in their work, and congenial with each other and with us. There was always a supply of clean, dry linens, and the pool was well maintained. Food: Can't say enough good things! We were bowled over by the variety of dishes that appeared at every meal. Presentation was impressive, and Jose was obviously extremely creative and economical in making leftovers enticing and enjoyable and packing take-along food. And we did appreciate his willingness to accommodate our various tastes and let us be a bit adventurous with some unfamiliar dishes. Advance Preparation: Communications in advance and availability during our stay made it so pleasant and easy to avoid problems and arrange special activities. The detailed arrival instructions were particularly helpful, since we arrived at different times. It was also helpful knowing that we would need taxi service if we didn't have a car. There were always taxis waiting across the street when needed. Surprises: the level of owner and staff efforts; the impressive zoo nearby; the fact that everything was actually as presented in advance--no surprises on accommodations, natural beauty, prices, etc."Guest: momo Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 31, 2014View listing
"Ten of us stayed here last Thanksgiving Week to celebrate my 80th birthday. Open floor plan, proximity to water, w/ the comforting sound of waves on rocks, ease of access to the beach to the south or 15 min beach walk north to PV were the physical highlights. The staff was excellent, led by Lupita the gracious and skilled chef (we ate in every night). Two housemen, a maid and night watchman completed the staff. Kids loved the heated pool on property, nestled among trees and plants. The site is very relaxing, especially at the pool, or the upper bedroom decks. I hope to book CLA again."Guest: Ray Date of Stay: November 2013 Review Submitted: January 15, 2014View listing
"We have just returned from the Casa -- a family of 17 which includes 6 children. From the first contact with the owner several months ago to the completion of our stay, we were given the utmost attention. The staff was fantastic and the casa itself is beyond description until you arrive to see it in person. The food was deliciously prepared and attention was given to every detail. Don't miss this place if you are going to stay in PV!"Guest: Vicki Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 11, 2014View listing
