  • OMG - That was the reaction!

"I don't even know where to start with this review, that's how good it was! We were a group of 5 young guys (early 30s) who were looking for a relaxing, fun and pampered vacation... WE GOT IT. We started off with a private VIP pickup from the airport with a well deserved Cerveza and then it got amazingly better once we arrived to the property. Up the elevator we go and that pool... pictures don't do it justice, it truly is amazing. Walk into the condo and it looks just like the pictures except feels much larger, 5 adults and we never once felt crowded. Alfredo the Property Manager went above and beyond to organize all the details and a private chef for us, after all we were there to vacation and not cook; Ariana was a great cook and we ate like Kings. The only 1 thing I wish the kitchen had was an espresso machine, but the coffee machine sufficed and worked overtime for us. We can't forget to mention Eva, the fantastic house cleaner.. she came over a few times during our stay and never once did she make us feel as if we were in her way. Her English is limited but hey... you're in a Spanish speaking country after all :) As for the location; perfect! 50 pesos gets you from downtown to the condo. Walk straight down to the beach via the path directly across the highway from the property and you’re at the famous Blue Chairs resort (right on the ocean), enjoy the hike back up the hill, she’s a steep one. If you’ve never been to Puerto Vallarta this is a great place to be, the beach is full of amazing restaurants and if you like a little dancing and partying at night, the downtown offers that too. I have to say, if you go out late on the town, the street tacos at Super Mendozas Taco (I wish I could tell you the exact location they are) are the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life, find it, try it. I CANNOT say anything bad about this property at all, it's exactly what you need for a relaxing and pampering vacation, the owner and Alfredo will make sure that everything is just right for you and your vacation. Try this place out.. worth it! Trust me..."

  • AMAZING Spring Break Location!

"What an amazing trip!! Not only was the house itself spectacular, but the staff makes sure to go above and be on so that you are taken care of and having a blast. The house is located the perfect distance from town, so that you can still walk to restaurants and night life but you still feel removed enough that it's relaxing and enjoyable! The house is staff is perfect for anyone, from a group of college kids looking for a fun spring break or a family wanting a relaxing, stress free vacation!"

  • Awesome Condo!

"This was our second time in PV but first at the Peninsula. This condo was amazing as one of our daughters said, "probably the nicest place I've ever stayed"! We traveled with our 4 adult daughters, son in law and a 1 year old. Everything went perfectly! Very spacious, clean, convenient to grocery store and downtown. We took bus and taxis and never had any problems with transportation. Loved location and loved the 6th floor for view and privacy. Corner unit gives a beautiful view of mountains, river, and the ocean. Awesome pool especially for baby with depth being only 4 feet and looking over the ocean. Quiet complex, very safe, helpful staff. Oswaldo was there to meet us and explain everything regarding the condo. He was quick to reply by phone call if we had a question. Nightlife nearby sometimes heard at night time, but better if patio doors closed. Not every night. Cleaning service came in mid week and did a great job. Couldn't have been happier and family is already talking about "next time"!"

  • Perfect Location & Beautiful Condo

"Even in mid-summer, with exceedingly high humidity and temps in 90's, the cross breezes of this 3rd floor end unit kept us very comfortable in this lovely condo. The OXXO next door provided us with all we needed to make breakfast, which we enjoyed from the balcony overlooking the Malecon. The location was perfect, with the wrap-around balcony just high enough for privacy, yet low enough to enjoy watching the multitude of activities - vendors, musicians, families, dog-walkers and tourists - along the Malecon and beach. Given all the music and activity during the day, by 9pm, it was more than quiet enough if one wanted to sleep. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was perfect for shutting out the humidity and sleeping well. The plumbing works as well as you'd expect from an ancient system, but we never felt cold turning the shower water on and off so the drain didn't back up. Do not expect perfection with such things in Mexico; be creative, solution-oriented, and go with the flow. More important are the warm and friendly people of Mexico and the beauty all around. This condo is comfortable, beautiful and perfectly located to access restaurants, shops, banks, old PV landmarks - all a short walk away. If we could improve anything, it would be the bed, but we also know Mexican beds/furniture are renowned for being hard. And even with an egg crate cushion over the mattress, the bed was still hard. For some that is perfect, but for many (55+), not so much. Perhaps Costco-PV carries those 2" memory foam toppers that are in US Costcos, which might help more than the rather thin egg crate topper on it now. Despite this rather minor detail, we would rent this condo again without hesitation. We loved it and our stay in PV. The maid and Vista del Sol staff were great too! Don't miss Archie's Wok, south of the condo about 3-4 blocks, just off Olas Altas towards the beach. Dick's Daiquiri was very good also, but Archie's was exceptional! A great car rental ($60/day for everything but gas) AND tour activity business is a few doors east on Aquiles Serdan. Ask for Pepe - great guy and excellent adventure or other types of tours. We highly recommend this lovely condo and it's location!"
