  • Stunning

"My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful time at Palapa Tranquila. What a stunning and unique home away from home Yvonne and Charles have made there . Yvonne was so great in making sure that we had reservations with Henry and Heather for dinner upon our arrival! We did make the hike to Chimo which was every fun and neat to see. We didn't get the chance to try the restaurants but we did meet some very nice people at the local supermarket. We did kayak for a short period of time after an initial defeat by the waves on our first attempt. It was well worth it though as we saw a whale no more than 50 feet away from us and a sea turtle swim buy. Truly an amazing experience! Thanks much for opening your home to us in Puerto Vallarta Yvonne and Charles! We would love to make it back sometime soon."

  • Great place!

"My husband and I went to PVR for our anniversary. The condo was airy and bright, and had everything we needed for a great week. We spent time one floor up at the pool. We were able to walk the beach and shop ant our leisure. The view is spectacular and you have a terrific view of the waterfront and malecon. It did rain quite heavily a couple of times and we had to deal with a minor leaks in the roof. The roof was under repair at the time. All in all, it was a great place to call home for the week."

  • Perfect Romantic Getaway

"My husband and our couple friends stayed here for two weeks and we had a fantastic time! The infinity pools were so private and access to the private beach was so easy. This place has so much to offer that time flys by. The condo is elegantly decorated with handcrafted furniture and the kitchen has everything you could possibly imagine. Our favorite feature was the oceanfront view from the bedroom/living room where we would soak in the hot tub and watch the midnight lightening/fireworks over the ocean. All you need is within walking distance and the bus stops right outside of the property. I would high recommend staying at this property, you will be so impressed!"

  • Amazing Views, Luxurious and Spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

"I guess I'll start by saying that we definitely plan on staying at Casa Golondrinas again. As soon as the 9 of us left, we were already talking about how much we wanted to go back to La Manzanilla and that we would definitely choose the same accommodation again. The bedrooms in the main house both have AC, which is nice to have, and, while the rooms in the guest house can get a little warm, they're still very nice and there are plenty of fans to go around. The bathrooms were great as well. A few more beach towels would be nice as there were only three when we went. The kitchen is nicely equipped and there was plenty of space for the 9 of us (+ one toddler) to prepare food and eat at the large outdoor dining table. The hike up the hill might be a little much for people with mobility issues, as it is quite steep, but not very long. It is about 5 minutes to walk down to the beach and then maybe 10 minutes to get back up to the Villa. You'll definitely break a sweat walking up the hill, but once you reach the top, you can relax in the magnificent pool and watch the sunset over the town. When we got there, there was a leak in the pool, but the management company was great about it, sent guys up to fix it, and within a few days we were splashing around. While it would have been nice to have the pool the entire time, things are going to happen, and it was great to see that the management company handled it well. They supply plenty of bottled water and have drinking water in the bathrooms for brushing your teeth, etc, as you can't drink the tap water. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this place and we plan on returning next year."
