  • Absolutely Perfect!

"This condo is stunning in every way - furnishings, views, location, it has it all! This unit is extremely well maintained. I think we have been spoiled for staying anywhere else after a week here! The owners have thought of everything, we couldn't think of anything that wasn't provided. Marlene wasn't kidding when she said we only needed to bring our clothes and personal toiletries! Everything else was already there - right down to binoculars, sunscreen, chip clips, extra thick bath and beach towels, cooler bags, shampoo, hand soap, and so much more! The beds and linens were wonderful, and the building is very quiet. The two large bedrooms are quite luxurious, and both have their own balconies facing the mountainside. The 3rd bedroom is a bit small and has a frosted glass door that faces the kitchen - it was fine for one person and is still quite lovely with its own ensuite bathroom, but a couple might feel a bit cramped in here and/or might feel uncomfortable about not having as much privacy. The glass doorwalls open up across the entire front of the unit. It's incredible, and we left them wide open the entire week. There are no bugs, and six floors up, safety was not a concern. There is no direct sun coming in at any point, and the ocean breeze keeps everything nice and cool. We only used the air conditioning in the bedrooms, and instead enjoyed the open air and multiple ceiling fans in the kitchen and living areas. The grounds and gardens at Molino de Agua are beautifully cared for. Everything was spotless and the staff are very friendly. The security personnel do a great job and we felt a little like celebrities when we noticed people's curiosity about what was "behind the gate". This is clearly the premier property in this area. We loved having the Malecon right at our gate. It was so entertaining to people watch and so convenient to have restaurants and shopping just a few steps away! We especially liked Daiquiri Dick's (pesto chicken penne pasta), The Blue Shrimp (coconut shrimp), and Serrano's (arrachera steak quesadillas). Pass on the pizza from Pinochio's, the little place just the other side of the river. We walked up and down the Malecon every morning, enjoying the ocean views, sculpture art, and bustling pedestrians. One thing that really surprised us - there are a LOT of dogs. They aren't a problem, it was just unusual compared to other vacation destinations. What a wonderful week - we hope to return!"

  • Awesome Property

"We just got back, and this was our first condo stay in Mexico. This property is amazing! Very well maintained and the pool, incredible, my teen kids stayed in it all day, everyday while we were there. The beach cafe had really good food too. As for the condo, very nice, though a little crowded, but very comfortable for four people. We lived in the balcony which has the exact views as the photos show, loved it. We saw some incredible light storms at night! We did have a couple of issues, one with the US/CA phone, which wasn't working when we got there. The owner was very concerned and helpful in getting it fixed, which we appreciated. It turned out to be a minor problem. The fan in the kitchen wasn't working, and with limited AC use in the condo, fans were vital, as it was very hot. It was however fixed in a couple of days. Overall, nice place. My kids want to go back! Owner was wonderful and very responsive."

  • Great Place! Just as described!!

"The place was perfect - just as described. Gary was easy to communicate with and the process of securing the place was seamless. We loved the balcony and the double doors leading out to the balcony. It was perfect for morning coffee. The view is amazing. SO relaxing and fun - It was great having wifi in the room, music for your ipod and under the sink is BIG bags to use if you walk to the grocery store. It is a short walk and they have everything you need. The location is close to the bus, a short walk to the grocery store and restaurants. The pool has Happy Hour everyday at noon and again at 3 or 4 (I can't remember the exact time - but the servers will tell you) GREAT - Cervezas TWO for ONE!! and they were ice cold. You are given a 15% discount card to use on the property - be sure to use it for food and drinks - really easy to use. We took the local bus to a couple of times - 15 pesos for both of us. EASY to use. Had a great time. Thank you Gary for sharing your place w/ us!"

  • Pryorities

"We couldn't have rented a better place in Vallarta for the month. The condo is just as described, it is truly beautiful and very comfortable with a gorgeous view. Debbie, the manager was there to greet us and answer any questions that we had. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the firework displays and the cruise ships coming in. It is up a very steep street on Panama/Costa Rica but outside to the right of the condo are steps to take you to Honduras street. It's easy getting a cab to take you back up or even to pick you up at condo. We got the card of a cab driver we enjoyed and we just called/texted/emailed him anytime we needed a ride and he would be right there. We did all our shopping at Ley's food market where certain days they have great sales. We would't hesitate to stay here again even with the steep streets!"
