  • Canadians living in Dallas, Texas

"We decided to spend time in Barra de Navidad because our daughter has been living there for the past ten years. She kept telling us what a great place it is so we wanted to find out for ourselves. Everything that she told us was true as we also fell in love with the town so we will definately be back. We have been telling all of our friends about it. The town is very quaint, friendly and safe. We were able to walk everywhere. We enjoyed the many restaurants, the Thursday morning market and rides on the local bus. Dave and Cher met us when we arrived and we immediately felt at ease with them. We enjoyed talking to them and they were most helpful with anything we needed to know about the area. My only regret is that we didn't use the palapa as much as I would have liked. Next time for sure. Our daughter kept us pretty busy. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to rent. It is an easy walking distance to town and the restaurants. We've been home for two weeks now and already missing Barra so I am already plotting when we can come back. Thank you Dave and Cher."

When we planned our trip to Puerto Vallarta months ago, the website pictures were definitely instrumental in the anticipation of a great time with dear friends, but when we arrived we knew from the minute we walked in the doors that a website could not BEGIN to describe the beauty of Gods creation set perfectly on the cliff side overlooking Los Arcos!! Then....wow....the hospitality of Alfonso, his anticipation of our every need....Patricia..her smile and generosity and helpful nature and Chuey is so talented in the kitchen! All three of them work together as a team and you can rest assured if pampering and indulgent care is your desire then Villa Los Arcos will exceed your expectations. Oh- and the CASA.....Thank you for the thought and care you took to design each square foot–the amenities were perfect. Thank You....Thank You! • Our stay at PV Peninsula was absolutely the best condo we have ever rented!

"We just returned from a 9 day stay at PV Peninsula. This condo was a beautiful, spacious and had everything in it that we needed during our stay. The view from the balconies were breath taking...mountains and ocean views! The pool was huge but was a little rough in areas and could use some maintenance. But, nothing to complain about because most of the time we were in the pool overlooking the amazing ocean view. Restaurants were abundant but required a taxi ride to most of them but it was well worth it. We are planning to return to PV. Peninsula in the future and will be looking into renting this same condo for our stay. The staff at the Peninsula were always around and would call a taxi for us anytime we needed one. The pool area was hard to get a chair with an umbrella if we didn't go down early to be by the pool. Since it was July in Mexico, if we wanted to read or just sit by the pool, an umbrella for shade was necessary so that was disappointing. No pool service or pool bar was available and that would have been a nice amenity to have. A restaurant or snack bar on the property would have also been nice to have from time to time. All of the negatives I have mentioned were trivial and the beautiful condo/views made us forget about these minor things we didn't have during our stay. We will be going back and will be staying at the Peninsula."
