"Absolutely fantastic location, service, value and beauty! My mom, boyfriend and I stayed here for a week in December. Pictures on this site don't do it justice - beautiful spacious well-decorated condo, with 2 balconies. Property also has a roof-top terrace. Manager Elizabeth is very sweet and helpful. We had a car - parking is easy, but it is a great location for those without a car - everything is within a few minutes walking distance. In a quaint authentic Mexican neighborhood, not touristy (but you can reach all touristy areas by foot)! Was our first time in PV, but when we will come back we will certainly stay here again - cannot imagine a better place to stay!"

"My wife and I and three friends arrived at Casa Linda late afternoon in a monsoon like thunderstorm. We were tired, hungry and in serious need of cold beer. We really did not want to walk back into town in the driving rain for food and drink. No problem. There was beer in the fridge and Linda insisted on driving one of us into town to pick up pizza, which she ordered on our behalf. A great start to a great holiday in La Manzanilla. A day later the rain stopped and the sun came out to stay. La Manzanilla was a great new discovery for us and our time there was totally enhanced by the helpfulness and hospitality of Linda and Claude. Linda is a well known artist and art teacher and her paintings are displayed throughout the house. She is an amazingly energetic woman.
Our friendly neighbours in the other suite have been coming to Casa Linda for about 7 years and it's easy to see why. Claude and Linda even had us all down for dinner on Valentine's day.
Casa Linda is not on the beach, but it is not much more than a 5 minute walk down the hill to the main street and the beach, and the view from the house is fabulous. Another nice perk, that we used quite a bit, is a free international phone for the use of guests.
La Manzanilla has lots of really good restaurants, and all the groceries we needed to cook at home, including wine, beer and margarita makings, were available in the town. We will return to La Manzanilla and have no hesitation in recommending Casa Linda to anyone else heading that way. The house and the hosts were first class."

"We couldn't have rented a better place in Vallarta for the month. The condo is just as described, it is truly beautiful and very comfortable with a gorgeous view. Debbie, the manager was there to greet us and answer any questions that we had.
We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the firework displays and the cruise ships coming in. It is up a very steep street on Panama/Costa Rica but outside to the right of the condo are steps to take you to Honduras street. It's easy getting a cab to take you back up or even to pick you up at condo. We got the card of a cab driver we enjoyed and we just called/texted/emailed him anytime we needed a ride and he would be right there.
We did all our shopping at Ley's food market where certain days they have great sales.
We would't hesitate to stay here again even with the steep streets!"

"Not much to say that hasn't been said in other reviews. Great location and nice room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a great area if you like being out of town.
Use the bus system. It is cheap and usually an adventure. We always get great tips from locals on the bus.
If you go during the slow season you will likely have the pool and beach to yourself.
Only complaint is that the Best Western next door was very noisy this year. They had daily pool parties with loud music and screaming kids. Didn't hear a thing from them last year so maybe it was bad timing this year."
