"This condo was absolutely perfect! I stayed here with 4 friends and we had so much room! The bed are soooo comfortable and all of the furniture is very nice. We didn't spend much time in the condo, but I almost wished we had since it was so lovely. It's on the ground floor so it's perfect to walk right out to the pool or water without feeling like you need to pack up and leave for the day.
I can't recommend this condo enough!"

"My husband and myself have made many trips to Mexico and stayed at Playa Royal. We have stayed several times in this studio which is extremely comfortable. It has everything needed and is super clean. The balcony is amazing and the patio furniture is one the best features as we love to have "Happy Hour" out there each evening. The staff are amazing and if there are any issues they are dealt with in a timely fashion. Gail the owner is great at answering emails and making sure all your needs are met. We hope to return again in November 2015 and enjoy paradise again! You won't be disappointed."

"Casa Frangipani is spacious, nicely decorated and the view from the large deck lets you
enjoy the ocean as well as the ever changing sunsets from the padded lounge chairs.Yes,
there is no TV or telephone and although there is a TV room on the top floor the TV is not
connected. However, there is a library of books and DVD's to occupy you during the evening hours.A point worth mentioning is distilled water is standard throughout the complex.
For 8 pesos you can travel to the other side (Villa Varadero) with the Vallarta Direct bus to
swim with the Dolfines or Sea Lions and have lunch at the Studio Café and look into the adjacent art gallery.Or have breakfast/Lunch at Nicksan next door. There is Ciao a Steak/Pizza outdoor restaurant just down the road. The owners are very accommodating and Sandra and Anna, always with a smile, made sure we are comfortable. We certainly recommend Casa Frangipani and,for our part,we plan to return next year."

"Had this condo for the last week of April, 2015. Very nice and clean one-bedroom. The bedroom was roomy with a nice king bed - although anchoring the headboard to the wall so it didn't thump every time you rolled over would be nice. Good kitchen with full fridge, stove top, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker etc and decent counter space, and a good supply of dishes and pots and pans. What it didn't have was any supply of cooking basics (salt and pepper, dishwasher detergent, any spices etc) so if you don't bring those with you you're shopping for them the first day.
The washer and dryer in the kitchen (with lots of Tide) are are nice luxury because you can travel light.
The living room/eating area were roomy with a good TV and satellite. There's a comfortable love seat and sofa (which looked like it was also a fold out bed). Great view of the bay and the resort pools from the living room and (small) balcony. There's A/C in both the living room and the bedroom which cool the place down fast.
Bathroom isn't big, but has a good sized shower and a good supply of towels. The light over the sink may leave a little to be desired for anyone wanting to be a serious make up artist while on vacation.
The resort is lovely. Not sure how it works but the condos share the area with the Dreams resort. There's three lovely pools, and a nice beach area. Looked like for $86 US you could get a day pass to Dreams which, I assume, lets you use the restaurants and bars (there's also a cash snack bar that's part of the condos, not Dreams). I never checked out the Dreams option because we wanted to try some of the area restaurants on this trip - between making a meal or two a day in the condo and going out to the restaurants we had a lot of good food, and it was a very economical trip.
This is also a very quiet resort - i.e. NO loud music blasting over the pools, or activity directors using a bullhorn to get people doing water aerobics etc.
This would be a great selection for either people who want to stay on the resort, or people who are wanting to explore the area."
