"We really enjoyed our stay at Playa Royale. The pools and beach are great, and there are several great restaurants within walking distance. We loved the spaciousness of the unit with the separate bedrooms for our child and separate shower. The view from the balcony was wonderful. The only issue we had was that both shower doors were very worn and difficult to open. We would definitely return- it was a wonderful and relaxing vaction."

"We were so pleased with the accommodations. Location, Location, Location! It was like home away from home. To purchase groceries there is a grocery store just a short walk away. There is also a pharmacy in the grocery store which can come in handy. We were on the go every day. You can catch the local bus to town just across the street. Cabs are extremely easy to get as well. Just go to the main lobby and they will help you. This condo is very close to beach, pool and the beautiful court yards. The hospital is just across the street so there is never a worry if you should need a doctor! We also found that every Tuesday there is a farmers market across the street in the hospital back parking lot. There is fresh fish, bread, pastry and beautiful Mexican jewelry, baskets, and different wares. Very fun event! Eating out is also a joy! You must take the free shuttle to the Golf Course for Sunday Brunch. It is to die for!! You just can't beat this location. It is in the heart of it all yet it has a beautiful view of the ocean. It is so peaceful, quiet and very laid back. It's a must see and stay location. We loved it!! The people there are so friendly and welcoming. Can't wait until we can return. Thanks Norma you made this a very pleasant and easy property to rent."

"Before leaving for this place, I was told that Playa Royale is the best and the most sought after condo in Nuevo Vallarta, and guess what, I also felt the same after spending my vacation here. A “Five Star” property, Playa Royale is designed exquisitely, and is beautiful when you drive up, nice building design & has lush gardens. This a comfortable condo because it had all the amenities just like we have in our homes. Stainless kitchen, laundry area with lots of supplies, great Canadian satellite TV, huge pool-view, nice patio, 2 full sized bathrooms, boogie boards and so much more. Location, location- close to the Paradise Plaza, the marina and everything else in Nuevo. Free shuttle to the golf course and to the gym made it very convenient. I know this condo books over a year ahead, it’s worth it!"

"Kim’s condo was the perfect retreat for our one-week stay with young children. We were two families with one child each (17-months and 15-months).
Playa Royal is a beautiful property with freshly manicured grounds and a clean kiddie pool and adult pool. The property is more striking than the accurately posted pictures.
You are fairly secluded in this enclave, but it was perfect for our situation. This property has an older clientele and some families, and the only onsite restaurant is the beach club, which has limited hours. There are a handful of restaurants nearby or you can walk to the Paradise Village mall where you’ll find a small grocery store, Starbucks and a few more restaurants.
You have full access to all Paradise Village properties and amenities. We paid for the $18 weekly social membership at El Tigre, where we enjoyed the INDOOR kid’s playroom. There is a small outdoor playground at the Paradise Village Beach Resort. These were important elements for our “perfect family gateway.”
The condo is also nice and simply decorated. The unit was easy to maintain during our stay and it felt safe. One thing to note is that the master bedroom faces outward toward the grounds and beach while the other bedroom faces the hallway. Not a huge deal, but it is worth mentioning only because we were traveling with another couple and at first glance one bedroom and bathroom felt superior to the other. That being said, the back bedroom remained cooler and there was less outside noise so it was fine. And, though the second bath hosts the washer/dryer it has two entry ways.
Kim is very thoughtful about the items you’ll need for a beach vacation – the closet includes beach towels, boggie boards, beach chair mats, etc. She also has a small selection of board games and books. The kitchen includes all the basics.
Things to note:
1) Housekeeping is conducted by an outside company; work with Kim to set cleaning up in advance.
2) Request additional bath towels in advance; only 4 large towels were provided even though there were six occupants listed on the rental agreement.
3) This is a condo complex not a hotel, though there is a concierge, front desk staff, beach restaurant, etc to make your stay more pleasant. The staff is very nice and helpful. Check in and out was easy.
Kim is very easy to work with. All of our questions were answered in a timely matter and Kim provided helpful information in advance of our stay."
