  • Absolutely the most heavenly vacation ever!!

"We have vacationed to this beautiful condo several times but most recently we went down to celebrate my daughters 16th birthday. It was absolutely perfect! Everything about the condo is gorgeous and it has an absolutely incredible view. The condo sits up high and has a metal open air door at the entrance. The beauty of this is that you can keep both the front door open and the two full sliding doors to the porch and you get an amazing breeze throughout the day. Feel and smells heavenly. The condo is in impeccable condition. Tons of space to relax and enjoy the view of sail boats. The deck has a huge teak table... We were all able to enjoy breakfast outside every morning. The two lounge chairs were perfect for sunning in the afternoon. The condo is set up with Wifi and a desk where I could get a bit of work done when needed. The pool is the perfect temperature and the jacuzzi felt amazing after surfing each day! Punta Mita is an adorable town. We felt very safe letting our 16 year old run to get treats on her own. Tranquilo Surf is without doubt the best, most knowledgeable surf guides around. We brought a friend that said he has tried surfing dozens of times without success. Josue was able to get him going and he was addicted by trips end! They will boat you out to the most perfect surf spots. So much better than fighting the surf crowds in Salyulita! I have stayed at both the Four Seasons and the St. Regis in Punta Mita. This condo beats them in every regard, especially when traveling with children. There is seriously nothing bad that can be said about this place. We have enjoyed every trip we've taken here and hope to enjoy many more!!"

  • Just what we were looking for.

"My wife, daughter, and I stayed 12 nights. The condo was exactly as it was advertised. El Anclote is a clean and safe family environment. The local people were nothing but friendly. Joanie and Tom are wonderful hosts. Our family feels very fortunate to have been able to experience such a wonderful place. Thank you very much. We hope to return next winter."

  • Condo has it all

"This is a wonderful top floor condo with a great view of El Anclote Restaurant Row and the beach, Banderas Bay and the Marietas Islands. The condo complex is gated with 24/7 security personnel. The unit is spacious, beautifully furnished, and all the technology works perfectly. Wifi, TV, phones, music, fans, A/C, etc. The maid and cleaning service are superb. She does an outstanding job. We are here off season, and it is very quiet and peaceful in the condo complex and in the town of Punta de Mita. The town has a very safe, friendly feeling. There are several ATMs, but no bank. If you go to one of the banks in Bucerias to exchange money into pesos, don't forget to bring your passport! The boat trip to Islas Marietas is a must do, and cost 1400 pesos through the coop, plus 28 pesos each for park entry. The panga trip takes about 2 hours. The blue and yellow footed boobies on the islands are amazing. Stand up paddle boarding is fun, and cost 150 pesos per hour. Surfing lessons set us back 60 usd per hour. Snorkeling wasn't too great, due to the cloudiness of the water. Swimming in the pool and the ocean are both lovely, with warm water both places. A taxi from PVR airport was 900 pesos, and taking the public bus back to PVR is 28 pesos per person. There's a young lady in town who sells delicious tamales for 10 pesos each. She's out selling them between 4 and 6pm, along the waterfront and near El Campo, where the soccer field is. The mini-supermarkets in town have prices comparable to what we found at the Mega in Bucerias. Our favorite is about 3 blocks away on Ave Pescadores with red Coca-Cola awnings. Chris, the host for this condo is very accommodating and easy to do business with. We would definitely recommend this for a safe, luxurious, mellow (at least this time of year) vacation."
