  • Condo has it all

"This is a wonderful top floor condo with a great view of El Anclote Restaurant Row and the beach, Banderas Bay and the Marietas Islands. The condo complex is gated with 24/7 security personnel. The unit is spacious, beautifully furnished, and all the technology works perfectly. Wifi, TV, phones, music, fans, A/C, etc. The maid and cleaning service are superb. She does an outstanding job. We are here off season, and it is very quiet and peaceful in the condo complex and in the town of Punta de Mita. The town has a very safe, friendly feeling. There are several ATMs, but no bank. If you go to one of the banks in Bucerias to exchange money into pesos, don't forget to bring your passport! The boat trip to Islas Marietas is a must do, and cost 1400 pesos through the coop, plus 28 pesos each for park entry. The panga trip takes about 2 hours. The blue and yellow footed boobies on the islands are amazing. Stand up paddle boarding is fun, and cost 150 pesos per hour. Surfing lessons set us back 60 usd per hour. Snorkeling wasn't too great, due to the cloudiness of the water. Swimming in the pool and the ocean are both lovely, with warm water both places. A taxi from PVR airport was 900 pesos, and taking the public bus back to PVR is 28 pesos per person. There's a young lady in town who sells delicious tamales for 10 pesos each. She's out selling them between 4 and 6pm, along the waterfront and near El Campo, where the soccer field is. The mini-supermarkets in town have prices comparable to what we found at the Mega in Bucerias. Our favorite is about 3 blocks away on Ave Pescadores with red Coca-Cola awnings. Chris, the host for this condo is very accommodating and easy to do business with. We would definitely recommend this for a safe, luxurious, mellow (at least this time of year) vacation."

  • Punt Mita

"We stayed at the El Anclote condominium for two weeks and it was one of the most amazing experiences I have had. The condo was clean, quiet, comfortable. Felt very safe in the gated community and our security guard was so nice. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony and had fun cooking and BBQing all the fresh vegetables and meats we purchased at the local markets. Our hosts were gracious and so friendly. It felt like home. Can't wait to get back to enjoy the condo again!!! Thank you so much."

  • Relaxing and Great Location

"We had a relaxing and great trip to Punta de Mita. Having not been to this area of Mexico the condo was in a perfect location. About 40 minutes north of the Puerta Vallarta airport, we never needed a car and could walk everywhere or take a bus for bigger excursions. The condo is close to the beach where we went in the mornings to paddle board, kayak and swim and had a super nice and clean pool for the afternoons. The markets, restaurants and shops were minutes away by foot and you cannot beat the view of this top floor condo. The owners were more than helpful whenever we needed something as well as the employees of the complex."

  • It Does Not Get Any Better Than This

"Just got back from a trip to Punta De Mita and stayed with another family in this amazing condo. First off the view and scenery from the 60ft balcony is one of the most spectacular I have ever seen. The condo sits high up on a hill over looking the town, Bay of Banderas, and the mountains. From sunrise to sunset you can see it all. The condo is so spacious and had everything you could think of. Each bedroom had it's own bath with the 2 masters having access to the balcony. The well stocked kitchen and main living area were huge. With 2 families we never felt crowded. The town of Punta De Mita is so beautiful and very clean plus the locals were friendly, friendly, and let me say it again friendly. After we arrived it did not take long to figure out we could let our 6 kids ages 10-15 walk around town with no problems at all. The beach was only a minute walk from the condo and the surfing/paddle boarding was world class. I live at the beach and the waves there were nothing short of spectacular (word of caution- the bottom is rocks and coral so I highly suggest booties or water shoes). There was a wave for every skill level and all you had to do was paddle right off the beach. For the more experienced you could take panga from the beach ($60hr and ask for Juan) and ride about 5-10mins to some world class breaks. With the condo being part of Hotel Cinco we were able to take advantage of the beach front chairs, umbrella, and pool. You never needed to leave the beach as you could have food and drinks brought to you while you relaxed. The real bonus was being able to have access to Horacio and Rodrigo the concierge at the hotel. Those guys were fantastic and made the trip so easy. Anything you needed from surf/paddle boards (plenty of boards to choose from $200 for the week for a SUP, airport transfer (call them ahead of time to arrange-$250 round trip from PVR), snorkeling trips (highly recommend taking the trip to the Marietta Islands). They did it all and were so friendly!! Not knowing what to expect when we arrived it turned out to be one of the best vacations we have ever taken. No car needed as we never left the town. We got up surfed, relaxed on the beach, surfed in the afternoon, had dinner then repeat for 7 days. Plush accommodations, relaxing atmosphere, epic surfing made for an amazing trip. We are coming back next year for sure!!"
