  • Great Location

"We enjoyed having the pool and beach access right outside our door. The pool was great for our young son and the surf break right in front of the condo entertained my husband for hours. Punta de Mita is a quaint little fishing town sandwiched between the gated community and millionaire ranchos at the other end of the beach. Not too touristy, pretty laid back and mellow. The beach was a bit rocky but there are sandy sections to swim in the ocean or sit on the beach. We walked everywhere in town (streets and sidewalks were semi stroller friendly) or easily took a 15 min. bus ride to Buscerius and La Cruz for the markets. The mini supers and fish markets in town had everything we needed for cooking our own meals. There was a great variety of restaurants from cheap tacos to high end dining. Lots of room in the condo and great for two families. The caretaker keeps the grounds at El Farito immaculate. Highlight of our trip was sailing to Marietas Islands with Ally Cat Sailing Adventures. We had issues with the shower but it was promptly fixed the next day when we informed the owners about it. Great place for a relaxing vacation with everything you need right outside your door."

  • Authentic Mexico

"What a lovely place to spend two weeks vacation. If you want a true taste of Mexico, come here! The condo is on a quiet stretch of beach that you can walk in a few minutes to town for good eats and drinks, or go the other way and spend an hour or two just soaking it all in. The condo was spacious, comfortable, clean and opened up right onto the common area. Over 2 weeks, we never had more than another couple share the space, and usually, we had it all to ourselves! Great pool and lounge area. We like to cook, and the kitchen has everything you need! We used the BBQ for all our fresh fish and seafood. Explore the village. So many good restaurants both on the beach and off. Back in the village you will find great local tacos at Tacos y Papas, chicken cooked on the side of the street, fresh tortilla! There is a new market in the paved part of town catering to the 4 seasons crowd, but a great place to get essentials if you do not want to make the drive to the Mega. We had a car and travelled to nearby towns of Sayulita and San Pancho. Into Bucerias and PV. There is a local fisherman at the marina who will take you out deep sea fishing. Brought back 3 Dorado!! His mom makes lunch to take on the boat. Say hi to Lucas the rescued baby blue-footed boobie! Margaritas at Anclotes are the best. Try the jalapeno and cilantro. Ask for Christian. Go to Naef's for home made gelato and great coffee. The restaurant across the street from the condo has wonderful food, especially their enchilladas and breakfast! Watch the sun rise and set each day on your vacation from right outside your door. Watch the locals fish off the shore along the beach. Watch hundreds of birds fish the waters in front of the condo - Pelicans, herons, loons, gulls and shorebirds. The boats coming and going from the nearby marina. Surfers and SUP's catching the waves. Beach combing. This is a wonderful, quiet, authentic, peaceful piece of Mexico."

  • Wish I was there!

"I've been home now, for only 3 days and I can still vividly remember the sound of the waves crashing at night. It's snowing here in NJ and all I want is to be back on the beach in Punta Mita. What an amazing condo! We booked a last minute trip over New Years Eve and had some trouble finding a space that was still available. Who knew this was such a popular place to visit?!? Lucky for us, we came across this listing! It was more than we could have ever hoped for. Being that this was my first trip to Mexico, I was a little nervous staying outside of a hotel or resort. This vacation has changed my mind completely. The condo was beautiful! I loved the way the place was decorated. I feel like every day there I was noticing a new painting or unique piece of furniture. And the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. Not that we needed to, being only steps away from the most amazing oceanfront restaurants. My favorite part of the trip was being able to watch all of the wildlife right from the balcony. We saw everything from pelicans, fish jumping, dolphins and even whales!!!! We even took a day trip and drove up the coast to visit some of the neighboring towns like Sayulita and San Francisco. Both equally as gorgeous. It was nice however staying in a smaller town with less noise. This was truly an unforgettable trip and we will certainly be back. Do yourselves a favor and rent this condo!"

  • A slice of heaven, with better views.

"Where do I begin? From the moment we opened the doors, we knew we picked the right place. Million Dollar Views from the large balcony windows. Views of the Marieta islands, views across Bay of Banderas, views of the beach, views of the surf. The property manager, Alejandra, greeted my family, gave a tour of the property, explained the Satelite TV, Internet, and Vonage phone system as well as giving advice on things to do in the area. My family includes twin boys, 7 and a 10 year old girl. The place was perfect for them, TV, games in the closet, wonderful pool, hot tub, and one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Mexico right out front. Powdery white sand with gentle waves to play in. Just down the beach are great surf spots and an easy beginer break for the kids surf lessons. We spent most of the time just lounging on the beach or in the pool. La Casa de Pintor, restaurant, is only steps from the door, great pizza and Margaritas! Just a 10 minute walk away is Restaurant Row with numurous dining choices from taco stands to FINE DINING. The Condo is smartly furnished and equiped with everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The highlight of the stay was a tour of the Marietas islands. Just a short 15 minute boat ride put us in about a pretty a place as I have ever been. We had snorkel gear including life vests for the kids. Clear warm water teaming with tropical fish. The memory of swimming through the cave to the "hidden beach" will last a lifetime.. Our only vacation regret was having to leave! We will be back!"
