  • Felt like home

"My husband and I stayed in this condo from November 6-23rd, 2013. We were happy to arrive and find that it was even nicer than the photos made it look like! The owners have created a homey atmosphere by providing everything you could possibly need, from kitchen supplies (spices, full cooking equipment), full laundry with soaps, replacement paper towels, toilet paper etc, first aid supplies, sun screen, snorkeling gear, shower and pool/beach towels, the list goes on and on. Used to arriving in bare apartments, we brought way more supplies than we needed which was a pleasant surprise. Scott was easy to communicate with as he replied to my emails usually in the same day, and they also have a local lady who you can contact with any questions or concerns. We loved that we could walk out the patio door and the pool was so close, but just far enough away to feel private. The area is very safe and the other condo owners were extremely welcoming. We've been to Punta Mita multiple times over the past six years but this was our first time staying in the Anclote condos and we would definitely stay at this one again. Condo aside, we recommend Accion Tropical for surf/paddle boarding/island tours, they are fun and have fair prices. Or ask anyone on the main street for Oso, he is an amazing teacher and the nicest guy, we have known him for years (he came to our wedding!). For fishing ask for captain Tomas (nickname Chewbasca), he is the best in town. The restaurants along the main street are pricey compared to the taco stands that line the back streets, but it depends what you're looking for. The straight up best fish/shrimp tacos in town are at La Cabana, it's tucked away beachside on the main street. Brenda's also has great Mexican food. Boca Deli is modern, but if you're craving a latte it's the best place to get one! Anyways, this is just our two cents. Don't go to Punta Mita if you're looking to party all night, it's quiet, but with amazing people, scenery, food and surfing."

  • Extraordinary Vacation Rental- WE WILL BE BACK!

"We just returned from a 6 day vacation with our 3 children to this luxurious and amazing rental in Punta Mita! While we had been once to the resort for dinner years ago, we were blown away by the accommodations, service, dining, kids activities and every detail in between! The owners of this particular property were incredible to work easy to book the rental and sent us a detailed overview of helpful tips, activities for kids, restaurant recs, etc. We literally showed up and EVERYTHING (even the groceries) were already taken care fact, we never left the resort! We are already planning for our next trip back and will definitely be renting through this owner! Perfect location on the Four Seasons property...FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!"

  • Amazing! Worth going again and again!

"My four girlfriends and I went and stayed in this villa at the beginning of June 2014. There is so much to say about this place. The location is wonderful! You have several beaches to choose from for boogie boarding or just laying in the sun. We all love Kupuri beach the best. They are all accessible using the golf cart that comes with the villa. The staff are kind and professional. We had a concierge that worked hard to make our trip exceptional! We also hired a chef two nights, Mario came to the villa and made two amazing meals! I highly recommend trying that option. The villa itself is clean and modern. The pool is a fun feature, along with the outdoor shower (there is also an indoor shower) attached to the downstairs bedroom! It is large and they keep it cool during the summer months. At the time we were there, it was the off-season so no one was on the rest of the property. It was quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend this villa! You won't be disappointed :)"

  • Low Season Vacation

"We stayed with our two teenage boys the first week in October. It was the end of low season and Punta Mita had experienced severe rain for several weeks just prior to our arrival. The weather was spectacular for us though.Sunny 85 degrees during the day with amazing thunderstorms out in the bay late at night that were better than fireworks to watch! The penthouse is exactly as described and shown in the pictures on the website, but the view from the balcony was much better than depicted. Due to the low season we were practically alone. We had the pool, beach and restaurants to ourselves. We loved the quiet and felt the whole resort was there just for us! The best part of the stay at Hacienda de Mita though is Yolanda, the treasure of a cook and housekeeper that comes with the booking. We enjoyed freshly made authentic mexican homecooking every breakfast and lunch that spoiled us rotten. Yolanda doesn't speak any English though so come prepared with knowing some Spansh or a Google translator. But really her smile says so much! We were lucky to have four in our party since that is the minimum for booking most of the activities. Rosina was a Godsend in arranging all of our adventures. We snorkeled to the Island, surfed, Ziplined, rode horses and ATVs and helped with the turtle release in Sayulita (thirty minute drive away). Rosina even got us the new Hookah (Snooba) diving available out to the Island. We would highly recommend this property with its package deal to any family looking to get away from it all and yet still feel the comforts of home! And say hello for us to Yolanda, Rosina and Sam at Serendipity Restaurant!"
