"We have traveled to Puerto Vallarta several times, and traveled to Punta de Mita on day trips to whale watch, and enjoy the restaurants, but we not stayed out side the city. We loved the spacious condo and the views out to the Ocean.
We enjoyed to pool and the interaction with other residence in the unit. It is a friendly environment. The condo is laid out to make it easy to share with another couple. Each with the private bath. It was nice having laundry inside the condo.
The owners have a great eye for color and unique art, which they have shared with their visitors. I would definitely recommend renting this condo."

"Just got back from a trip to Punta De Mita and stayed with another family in this amazing condo. First off the view and scenery from the 60ft balcony is one of the most spectacular I have ever seen. The condo sits high up on a hill over looking the town, Bay of Banderas, and the mountains. From sunrise to sunset you can see it all. The condo is so spacious and had everything you could think of. Each bedroom had it's own bath with the 2 masters having access to the balcony. The well stocked kitchen and main living area were huge. With 2 families we never felt crowded. The town of Punta De Mita is so beautiful and very clean plus the locals were friendly, friendly, and let me say it again friendly. After we arrived it did not take long to figure out we could let our 6 kids ages 10-15 walk around town with no problems at all. The beach was only a minute walk from the condo and the surfing/paddle boarding was world class. I live at the beach and the waves there were nothing short of spectacular (word of caution- the bottom is rocks and coral so I highly suggest booties or water shoes). There was a wave for every skill level and all you had to do was paddle right off the beach. For the more experienced you could take panga from the beach ($60hr and ask for Juan) and ride about 5-10mins to some world class breaks. With the condo being part of Hotel Cinco we were able to take advantage of the beach front chairs, umbrella, and pool. You never needed to leave the beach as you could have food and drinks brought to you while you relaxed. The real bonus was being able to have access to Horacio and Rodrigo the concierge at the hotel. Those guys were fantastic and made the trip so easy. Anything you needed from surf/paddle boards (plenty of boards to choose from $200 for the week for a SUP, airport transfer (call them ahead of time to arrange-$250 round trip from PVR), snorkeling trips (highly recommend taking the trip to the Marietta Islands). They did it all and were so friendly!! Not knowing what to expect when we arrived it turned out to be one of the best vacations we have ever taken. No car needed as we never left the town. We got up surfed, relaxed on the beach, surfed in the afternoon, had dinner then repeat for 7 days. Plush accommodations, relaxing atmosphere, epic surfing made for an amazing trip. We are coming back next year for sure!!"

"My family of five (3 adult children) just returned from a great week here. When we walked in, our jaws dropped. What an amazing view! The condo is south facing so you get amazing sunrises and sunsets every day. Walk out the gate to a great surfing beach. Walk up the beach a few hundred yards and you are at the hub of all the Banderas Bay excursions--boats in the little harbor will take you whale watching, snorkeling, scuba diving... Great restaurants are just on the other side of the harbor. Surfboard rentals are right in town. We learned to scuba dive with Sayulita Entourage and the pool sessions were right next door, then the ocean dives were in the Marietas Islands with the boat departing from the little harbor right outside our gate. Pool and jacuzzi are great. I should mention the condo is also amazing--beautiful kitchen, bathrooms, really comfortable living room, fantastic deck, but honestly we spent as much time as possible at the beach and out at the islands. The complex is really secure, well maintained and there are only about 10 or 12 total units in the place so its nice and quiet and relaxing. The owner and the local property manager were both so helpful and easy to work with. If you can book this place, do not hesitate. Stay here. I didn't want to leave."

"Three members of our family just spent 6 days at Villa Lunada in Punta Mita from January 23 thru 28, 2015 for a business meeting and birthday celebration. Who could possibly have asked for a better location for this occasion? Punta Mita has everything that we could have ever asked for from an activity point of view, and Villa Lunada was just plain " Over The Top"!!!!!
Arrangements were made by the Villa concierge, Jerry, for us to be transported by private car from the airport in Puerto Vallarta to Villa Lunada. The trip took approximately 40 minutes, and we were welcomed at the Villa by the very professional and accommodating staff. Cooling towels followed by margaritas were served to us at the front entry as our eyes passed through the house over the edge less pool and on to the rolling surf of the Pacific. The Villa was furnished by its owners with the utmost care with pieces of art and furniture that was consistent with its location and history. Wait until you see the 3 main bedrooms and the views of the surfers and whales playing in the distance from your private balconies. There is a 4th bedroom in the lower level that can accommodate additional guests. Breakfast and lunches were served according to your desires by the cook and staff, and special dinners were made available upon request with a private chief for our group. What more could you ask for in a vacation hideaway?
I forgot to mention that some other business associates were staying in Sayulita, but portions of the group often came out to the Villa for surfing, cocktails and meals during the day. When not working, some of the group surfed and others played golf at the “Four Seasons”. We wanted to go fishing but just never found the time to fit that activity into our schedule. I guess it will have to wait until next time. We also dined at the “St Regis” and the “Four Seasons”.....but why use that option when you can have better vegetables and fresher sea food at Villa Lunada followed up with a relaxing Jacuzzi under the stars.
Be good to yourself and lease this wonderful property. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!!!!!!
The owners of Villa Lunada happened to be in Punta Mita at the time of our stay and were gracious enough to stop in to make sure that our every need was being met. We all greatly appreciated their personal touch."
