"Two families enjoyed this place for 10 days. The condo itself is luxurious and well-equipped, and safe with 24-hour security (though the area is very safe). However, the highlight of this condo is the view; from inside the unit all you can see is water. Glass doors completely open up to the 180 degree view of the ocean and sand. It is a beautiful, quite spot that has easy access to Punta De Mita Restaurants etc. Already looking forward to going back."

Paradise in Paradise... Every Expectation Exceeded
"If there were more stars, I'd give them. Having been to the area and stayed at both Four Seasons & St Regis, we had a good idea what the area was all about. As you consider our comments, know that we are regular travlers, discrminating, but not "upitty"...
Hacienda de Mita is a fabulous place and the Gysin home is an oasis. The negative of high expectations is that you are often let down - BUT NOT IN THIS CASE. Despite the extremely high expectations, everything was exceeded. As advertised, the home is perfect in every way and each detail is tended to. From the towels, to linens, to furniture, to a coffee grinder, to wi-fi, to vonage phone - nothing was missing.
The Gysin Family are professional & courteous and quick to respond. As frequent users of VRBO with many great experiences, they are the best we've dealt with. Dealing with nice people is fantastic and provides great peace of mind. A common thread in other reviews online AND the onsite book is Bertha, the housekeeper/cook... Just Wow. Normally traveling with 10 & 11 yr olds is a trip vs. a vacation, but she changed our outlook and made everything EASY. The food she prepared was among the best we enjoyed in the area and was authentic and fabulous. Depsite less than stellar Spanish, we were able to communicate and her pleasant smile put as at ease. Wish we could have put her in a suitcase.
We could not more fully recommend this unit/family - and we look forward to returning in the future."

"we loved every minute of our stay at caida de Agua. Three families, 6 adults and 7 kids with lots of space to enjoy. from swimming in the pool, to our family soccer game on the lawn after dinner, it was so fun. Staff are amazing - Luisa's cooking is hard to match! would recommend to anyone,"

"I recently returned from a week-long vacation at Casa Alamada. U.J. was extremely helpful in making sure that we were well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Through U.J. we were able to arrange for a Suburban to pick us up from the airport – so nice not to have to worry about transportation! The house itself is enormous and absolutely beautiful. It is clear from the moment that you walk in that an incredible amount of thought was put into the construction, design, and décor of this house. Every detail is attended to and the result is truly stunning. It is spotlessly clean (and will be during your entire stay as Mari, the housekeeper, cleans daily) and truly feels luxurious and five star resort-like while at the same time feeling comfortable and homey. It has a very spacious downstairs (certainly big enough for a large group) to comfortably enjoy and each individual suite is also extremely spacious and comfortable. I stayed in the Vallarta Suite on the second floor; the room was very spacious with a king sized bed, a seating, and a dining area, the bed extremely comfortable, and the en-suite bathroom large, modern, and extremely comfortable. Best of all was the view from the en-suite deck: palm trees and expansive ocean – truly picturesque. The beautiful views were one of my favorite parts of Casa Alamanda; floor-to-ceiling windows in many of the rooms let in a lot of beautiful, natural light and allow for truly stunning views of both the golf course that the estate is on and the ocean. For an extra special treat, head up to the rooftop deck which allows for 360 views of Punta Mita. It’s absolutely beautiful and was my favorite place to catch the sunset. My other favorite was the outside patio area over-looking the infinity pool and the ocean. It is a truly spectacular place to relax and enjoy a margarita.
Thanks to U.J., I was made to feel very much at home during my stay at Casa Alamanda. He has truly thought of and taken care of everything that someone might want during their stay, from providing a staff to make sure you are comfortable during your stay to having all of the TVs Netflix enabled so that you can watch your favorite shows while relaxing in the evenings. This was an extremely relaxing vacation and we were quite pampered during our stay. I highly recommend Punta Mita and particularly a stay at Casa Alamanda. The oparticularly a stay at Casa Alamanda. The only worry you’ll have is that you won’t want to leave!"
