"A great place for a group getaway. The location is remote which makes Villa Violeta special and fun if the desire is to avoid throngs of other vacationers, but one must take this fact into consideration and understand that access/communication to outside world is very limited. If spotty wireless and cell reception is forgivable, I would highly recommend staying here. Even for a large group, the property and accommodations are fairly spacious and the staff did a great job keeping the place clean. Our staff was wonderful to work with - the prepared meals were very well done (we did not have any specific requests or major food allergies, so the fare was all mexican-based) and they were willing to provide our requests when given a few hours of lead time. The beach and pool are right at your fingertips and were great places for our large group to congregate, have fun, and relax. Our group came into the experience not knowing what to expect, and everyone left having had a phenomenal experience. Also, we initially thought we would be spending more time going on excursions outside of the premise (zip-lining, golf, hiking, etc.). However, leaving the property was much more difficult than expected, but this did not pose any problems as we had plenty of fun enjoying the weather, the beach, and the property, and only left once for a day-long boat excursion.
I would definitely consider planning a return trip to Villa Violeta - we had a blast!"

"Wow! It was one of the most Romanic experiences that we have ever enjoyed. We decided to stay in Casa Fiesta to celebrate our anniversary. Mary organized a fabulous private romantic catered dinner for two, with the entire backyard lit up with candles and a trail of rose pedestals leading us to our four course delicious dinner prepared by a top rated chef. We will always remember fondly our time that we spent in Casa Fiesta. Thank you Mary and Ramon (house manager) for all the details and attention you gave us. Your the Best!"

"We had the best vacation ever! In the Jungle Bedroom we enjoyed the fresh, tropical breezes while watching the ocean from bed. Sunsets were awesome, and we saw the green flash - a lifetime thrill! The minute we walked into the home we were relaxed and happy and could easily have spent our entire time enjoying the views. But we are so glad that we explored San Pancho. It is still quaint enough to be surprising and charming (a worker leading his palm frond loaded donkey) but sophisticated (art galleries and fine dining). We weren't foresighted enough to learn Spanish before our vacation, but it was no problem. Most of the warm and friendly Mexican folks we met are multi lingual. And our personal safety was never in question. We will return."

"Just returned from a 10 day stay at Casa Puesta Del Sol with my husband and two kids (9 & 12) and we had a wonderful stay. The sound of waves and incredible views of the ocean were available in every room plus the 3 decks of the house gave us plenty of outdoor space for eating and relaxing - our kids loved the pool. Caretaker, Juan Franco was very attentive when anything wasn't perfect and the two dinners he cooked for us were amazing! Highly recommend this house, but be aware of several flights of stairs and a steep cobblestone road down to the beach - not a big deal for my family, and I loved the daily short walk to the beach - but if you have a toddler or trouble walking I'd consider a house right on the beach. All in all our recent vacation was one of our best."
